Blue dart courier delivery persons are photographing people's company ID cards and government ID cards. They refuse to deliver without being allowed to photograph. This is information theft of the most blatant kind. Government and company IDs are confidential entities which can be easily misused by unscrupulous elements. 1) Who authorized Blue Dart, a private entity to collect such private information? 2) How do they ensure the security of this information? 3) How can they prove that the information they're collecting is not being misused or sold to unscrupulous elements? 4) Most significantly, why does a courier company need to STORE customer's private information? This is totally unacceptable. Shows total lack of respect for citizens's privacy. This practice needs to be curbed as this is a threat to national security. If the information falls into wrong hands, this can lead to identity theft.
