Blue Dart Express — delay in delivery and poor courier service | |||
Our consignment was dispatched from neemuch (Awb no. [protected]) to guwahati via bluedart on high priority as this is an extremely critical consignment to serve an important client. We went ahead with bluedart even though it is expensive as this was highly suggested to get our consignment delivered on time, we were told it would take 4-5 days. It was dispatched on the 4th of october and has not been delivered yet, and it is the 13th october today. The customer care number does not work and the responses on email are vague and incorrect. Yesterday, we received email communication that it would be delivered today and today it has still not been connected forward to guwahati from 'ccu - bda' (Kolkata). Due to the unwarranted delay caused by bluedart, it seems we will have to bear significant losses if goods are not delivered today. Even if goods are delivered today, we will still be bearing high costs as these goods will now need to be sent by air cargo to our client from us instead of any other mode of shipping. This is after 5 days of trying to follow-up and understand what is causing the delay. Due to the delay, we've already been put in a very tough spot as we have already paid for and received the other components of the order we need to fulfil for the client.
