Hi,
My name is venugopal. I had sent a few documents from pune to mumbai on 1st dec 2016 with an urgent delivery option (Before 10:30 am) and paid inr 460 for it. The airway bill number was [protected]. This was really urgent as it was for my visa processing for china visa under the urgent category for my travel next week.
I always thought blue dart was a trusted brand and would deliver my shipment without any hassles as i have done this kind o[censored]rgent delivery before as well.
However today i did not get any update/sms or call from blue dart about the delay in delivering my shipment. It was around 12 pm in the afternoon and i had to then go to the local blue dart centre here in hadapsar, pune from where i had sent the courier yesterday. The gentleman told me that his system was showing that the shipment reached mumbai at 9am itself and was out for delivery only at 10:22 am. Even then there was no signs of delivery till 12:50 pm.
I had to then call up the customer care number to track my shipment and get a status on my shipment. They took my contact number and mentioned that they would get back to me on the status. However till now i havent received a call back from them.
Eventually i had to find my own contacts in blue dart and get it delivered urgently to my party in mumbai which happened at 12:50 pm which is well above 2 hrs delay as per the time promised to me (10:30 am).
What was even more shocking was i received a message from blue dart at 1:20 pm that my shipment was delivered at 10:30 am. This is a serious mishap and a blatant lie from a brand and a trusted shipment partner and can face serious consequences under the court of law if i file a complaint.
Now because of this delay, i had missed out on a day for filing my visa and would have to do it only on monday because the consulate office is closed on the weekend.
I expect a call or at least an email from blue dart to rectify this mishap and refund me my entire money which i had paid for the urgent delivery. Otherwise i dont mind filing a cheating case on the company to have sent me wrong information on sms about the delivery.
