Blue Dart Express — Failure to deliver shipment starting vague reasons and utter unwillingness on the part of the customer care executive to sort out the issue.

I purchased a product (Birthday gift) from archie's online store having product id al[protected] which was supposed to be delivered at an address in agartala via bluedart couriers on 24th may 2017. The waybill number for the same is [protected]. On the night of 23rd i incidentally checked on the tracking status of the shipment and found that it's been shown as "consignee's address unlocated/landmark needed". However it's worth mentioning that the address given (Agmc and gbp hospital) is the only medical college hospital within the city of agartala that itself serves as a landmark to other small or less popular addresses. It is also worth mentioning that the delivery agent who supposedly found the address as unlocatable did not try to contact the consignee even once (Number has been provided). Next day i immediately brought up the matter to the bluedart customer care ([protected]) and the customer service executive who attended my call assured me that the product would be delivered by 24th only. But at about 3pm on 24 may when i checked the tracking status of the shipment it showed "undelivered shipment held at location". I again immediately called up the bluedart customer care and informed about the same and once again i got firm assurances. Believing on the professional competence of your reputed courier i waited till 5.45 but still there was no sign of delivery. I again called up the bluedart customer care at about 5.55 pm and i humbly requested the customer service executive to provide me with the contact number of the bluedart agartala regional office as the number given in the website is always unattended but he curtly refused me to provide me with the number and once again gave me only assurances. But the irony is that the product has still not been delivered and it has already surpassed the expected delivery date which was aslo the birthday of my consignee. Delivery date as well as the occasion has been surpassed, i would still request you to arrange earliest delivery of the product and according to me archie's (Cc'd here) should think twice to continue their strategic logistics partnership with blue dart that failed to deliver a product within two days even after the product reached the destination and was hardly 30 mins away from being delivered. If not, do let me know at the earliest convenience so that i can somehow make necessary arrangement to receive the product from the courier office. I hope i need not hear that office has been closed for the day and the product cannot be handed over as the business hours have been over because of a late intimation from your end. I did not want to involve you in the matter but i don't have any other go. If this is the yardstick of your service quality than it is really unfortunate for us, the paying customers.
