Bluedart is a very well reputed company but the service delivered to me was very disappointing. I recieved a message from the bluedart regarding the delivery of my courier (waybill no: [protected]) on 4th of july. the courier boy gave me a call saying that he will be there to deliver my service anytime after 2pm. I came back from office and tried calling the number from which i had received the call, the courier boy took the call once and said that right then he was delivering in some other area and will be there at my place late evening. but later when i called him 15-20 from my number he did not take the call and when i tried calling him from different number he took the call and when he heard my voice he disconnected.
Regarding this when i contacted the kolkata head office the executive also behaved very rudely saying that the courier boy was right as e followed the policy of the company and its not allowed to carry phones when courier boys are out for delivery. if this is the case then how come the courier boy recieved my call when he was delivering somewhere else??? and how come the courier boy said that before delivering i will give you a call??? The executive also said that my order is being delivered before time as the expected delivery date is 8th july, if it is so then y did i receive a message as well as call for delivery yesterday only.
My second half yesterday was a total waste just because of this irresponsible attitute of the courier company as i had to leave my office and be there at home to receive this urgent courier. For this i want proper exaplanation and compensation from the compant management. It is listed on the website that the adress was unlocatable but it is not true because the address was provided with appropriate landmark and it is not possible that a courier boy will have difficulty in reaching that particular landmark.
