Hi I am Ashish Shivnani, an owner of the BMW 3 series GT bearing the registration no MH14 FG 5228 from Pune, Maharashtra, India. Owning This model and brand was always my dream and hence was gifted to me by my dad when I joined business in 2015 November. This vehicle has always been very very close to my heart as being such an expensive special gift it has always kept me protected and safe. I never shared my vehicle with anyone and always drove it on special occasions hence it has only clocked 49500 km in 7 years. I loved my car so much that even bought a 10 year service package and a 5 year engine warranty as I had decided that I will never sell this car and treasure this gift. I regularly serviced my car on time in the BMW authorized workshop in Hadapsar pune as I am a car freak and I don’t like it dirty or damaged, dented etc.

3 months back I encountered an unusual issue on my screen showing a malfunction of the spoiler but when I drove it at higher speeds it automatically opened and closed as usual hence I did not feel the need to worry about it. 1 month later in August 2022 after encountering this problem I sent my car for a regular service and mentioned this problem to the service advisor Huzaifa who works at this Bavaria motor workshop in Hadapsar. He mentioned that my battery is weak and needs to be replaced but the vehicle can be driven for more kilometers, the spoiler is just working fine when he also drove it. Hence I didn’t feel the immediate need to replace the battery and I called the vehicle back after a regular service and checkup.

Last month one notifications again popped up on my screen that my seatbelts, airbags and pretensioner is malfunctioning, Also some days later one more notification popped up which mentioned that all my 4 tyres are punctured and I should check for Air pressure. I kept driving the vehicle after checking the Air pressure as I did not have a spare vehicle and I assumed the battery cells are weak and that is the reason its showing me these notifications. Three days back my Music system also started malfunctioning. I said enough is enough now lets get the battery replaced.

I asked the workshop as usual to please pick up my vehicle as always but they mentioned that due to the excess workload they cannot accommodate my vehicle. But after my several requests they agreed to pick up my vehicle on 18th oct which was very very kind of them. I requested the service advisor Mr Huzaifa to please return my vehicle on the same day as I don’t have a spare vehicle presently. He said yes initially, but later in the evening he called me that some parking brake mount needs to be replaced and I don’t get it replaced it will make some noise when I drive it.
I mentioned that parking brake was never an issue and I have never heard this noise while driving. He mentioned that you may experience it later so its better to replace it. I said ok if you feel its right then please replace it which costed me 7500 rs just for no reason. He said it is a 4 hour job and he will return me the vehicle tomorrow after replacing the battery, removing the notifications and solving the parking brake issue.

The whole day today I didn’t receive any call hence I called Huzaifa (service advisor) today evening to confirm the delivery of the vehicle at 6pm, but to my new surprise a new issue turned up.
HE MENTIONED THAT WATER HAS ENTERED MY MUSIC AMPLIFIER AND MY INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR HENCE DUE TO THIS I HAVE TO PAY A MINIMUM CHARGE OF 150000 (TAXES EXTRA) TO REPLACE IT.
PLEASE ANSWER MY FEW QUESTIONS IF YOU DON’T MIND :-
1. I PARK MY VEHICLE IN A COVERED PARKING DAILY, HOW DID WATER ENTER MY BOOT AND NOT INSIDE MY SEATING AREA?
2. WHY DID IT NOT ENTER ALL THESE YEARS?
3. WHY DID ANYONE NOT DETECT IT TWO MONTHS BACK WHEN I HAD SENT MY VEHICLE FOR A REGULAR SERVICE?
4. IS BMW SUCH A LOW QUALITY BRAND THAT WATER ENTERS THE BOOT AREA AND DAMAGES THE ENTIRE INTELLEGENT SYSTEM AREA?
5. WHY IS THE SERVICE ADVISOR GIVING ME SURPRISES THE MOMENT I AM ASKING HIM FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE?
6. I HAVE BOUGHT A SERVICE PACKAGE FOR 10 YEARS, WHY ISNT THIS COVERED AND WHY ISNT MY VEHICLE CHECKED IN CASE OF ANY LEAKAGE ETC.
7. WHY DID NOTIFICATION TURN UP ONE BY ONE, IF THE INTELLIGENT SYSTEM WENT WRONG IT MUST HAVE SHOWN A COMPLETE FAILURE ALL AT ONCE ?
There seems to be no logic anywhere, The service advisor seems to be just misguiding me. Please note I work day and night and it is my hard earned money so I request whosoever reading this to please help me out and please look into this.

I have always been a BMW die hard fan and I just love my cars dynamic looks, performance, driving experience etc . The moment you press the throttle it gives you a sudden adrenaline rush but some bad experiences from the service team completely spoils the fun hence I request you to please please look into this and please help me out.

Yesterday on 21st oct I visited the workshop after 3 days of handing over my vehicle at the workshop, it was a shock that the service advisor allotted to me Mr Huzaifa was on a leave since 3 days and nobody had a clue about my vehicle when asked. I met the customer relationship manager Mrs manaswini who inquired about my vehicle. I got to know that my vehicle was lying in an untouched state with water still inside my boot. I WAS INFORMED BY MR HUZIAFA THAT WORK ON MY VEHICLE HAS ALREADY BEEN STARTED AND THEY ARE ARRANGING TO RECTIFY IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT TO MY SHOCK BATTERY WAS STILL IN WATER AND NOBODY HAD EVEN REMOVED THE WATER OUT OF THE BOOT. THEY SAID WATER ENTERED BOTH SIDE OF MY BOOT DUE TO WHICH THE AMPLIFIER AND THE SENSOR SYSTEM BOTH GOT DAMAGED. I AM SHARING THE VIDEO SO EVERYONE CAN SEE HOW CLEARLY CUSTOMER IS BEEN MISGUIDED.

The water on the battery side is brown and clearly is visible that water has entered and stayed since a very long time. FIRSTLY WHEN VEHICLE WAS GIVEN FOR SERVICE 2 MONTHS BACK AND THEY SAW A SPOILER MALFUNCTION WHY DID NOT OPEN AND CHECK IF WATER HAS ALREADY ENTERED THE SENSOR SYSTEM AND WHY DID THEY NOT CHECK FOR ANY LEAKAGES OR DRAIN BLOCKAGE. I HAVE PAID FOR A 10 YEAR SERVICE PACKAGE RIGHT SO ITS THEIR RESPONSIBILTY TO CHECK IF THERE ARE ANY LEAKAGES OR DRAIN BLOCKAGES. WHERE AM I RESPONSIBLE ?

SECONDLY IF THERE ARE DRAIN BLOCKAGES AND THE WATER ENTERED THE AMPLIFIER SIDE ALSO SOME DAYS BACK HOW IS THE WATER AS CLEAR AS PURIFIED WATER. HOW COME THERE IS NO STAINING ON THE AMPLIFIER OR ANY RUSTING VISIBLE. ALSO WHY ISNT IT SHOWING ANY NOTIFICATION. ??

I requested the workshop guys to please let me know when can I get the vehicle and how can they help me, to which they responded that they will get back to me ASAP. So it’s a shock I will tell you that nobody reverted back, I called yesterday and Mr Abhijeet (service advisor) who said that please give me tomorrows time and I will revert back. I again called today and he said that he has mailed BMW group for support and they haven’t reverted back but he is figuring out the best possible way to help me which was very kind of him . But the main service centre guys have stopped picking up my calls since yesterday for which I also have all call records and logs.
If you want me to prove all this I can prove each and every word of it as I have all call records and recordings.

BMW being considered such a trusted and reliable brand all over the world, but everything goes for a toss when the dealership deals with a customer like this. I have shared a video of my vehicle along with the call log so everyone realizes I am not lying.

I request everyone who so ever is reading this to find a solution and solve this issue as soon as possible or else if things continue in the same manner I promise that things may not end nicely as its better not to test anybodys patience.

    Service is not doing well and water wash done by the Bmw service coimbatore is waste even the mud not gone intha dirty thing in bike not gone their putting old oil to me in my bike and service done by they were unfit no service don in my bike oil filter is not changed in my bike no cleaning done in my bike it's our bike bmw I think it is a good company in bike but waste service person spoiling tha name of our bmw I want to talk to manager

      Pls note that we had send our car BMW X1 for update programming as per company request. Vehicle was pick up by drive Anthony on 12 sep 2022 at 1225 lt. During that time vehicle was in good condition and no damage for exterior body. Owner personal handed over the car to driver in parking in building. After two hour we got call from infinity work shop. That we has damage running guard. We replied that we had handed the vehicle in good condition....

      PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE BY INFINITY CARS SERVICE CENTRE TURBHE

      My car purchased in 2020 is well within warranty and has done only 7000(Seven Thousand) kms till date and to my shock the Car started overheating at times and the AC had stopped

      Earlier The car was sent to infinity cara Turbhe workshop on 01/08/2022 for repairs and it took them 12 days to purportedly diagnose the issues and to purportedly repair them.
      This too was after several repeated pleading for quicker repairs.

      Even the pleading were made difficult by the fact that the service team most of the remained incommunicado and deliberately unanswered my calls and texts.

      Finally the car was delivered and to my utter dismay, the overheating problem which was purportedly repaired had actually been aggravated and the issue which would happens at times now started happening at every 10 kms or so.

      I once again booked a service request by calling the senior service managers Mr Kausabe and Ms Ankita, apprising them of my grievance.

      My car is now at the service centre again for the past 03 days and once again after several texts and calls i have been finally informed by the same service manager Mr Zeeshan, that the issue seems to be with the water pump that would need to be replaced and which will happen only next week, till which time i have to do without a vehicle as they are unable to provide a service vehicle to a middle class customer like me, who it seems has no value in their eyes and can surely suffer the mental agony and harassment only because he is unworthy of top class service of a top class vehicle which actually should only be purchased by big industrialists and celebrities.

      What i am unable to understand is that:

      1) Does BMW truly produce such sub standard vehicles which start giving trouble within 02 years of manufacture and in less than even 8000 kms?

      2) Why does BMW sell vehicles to middle class citizens when they dont value their time and agonies?

      3) Why was the diagnosis not done properly the first time the car was sent to the service centre or is the diagnosis also so sub standard or then was it that as the car belongs to a middle class person and though its still under warranty, only temporary fixes were experimented to save the company or dealership costs of replacement of defective parts?

      4) After every repairs, i believe its mandatory to carry out a thorough check up to ascertain that the repairs have been successful, why was the same not done for my vehicle?

      5) What is the guarantee that the service centre shall truly carry out proper repairs and that this time around their diagnosis is proper and complete as the earlier diagnosis and repairs were also done under the supervision of the same service manager Mr Zeeshan

      Finally i am feeling not just disgusted with myself that i sold my old MERC to buy a BMW under the illusion of similar or better customer service.

      Trust me over the years I have used cars of many brands but have never faced such pathetic, negligent and arrogant service.

      After my above experience I firstly request BMW India to take some serious action and corrective steps against the said dealership and service centre or then at the least inform middle class car buyers like myself to refrain buying a BMW vehicle if one is looking for a good reliable car and top class customer service

      Though I am sure that my complain will only fall upon deaf ears and no action of any kind will be taken, i am still making this effort only for my satisfaction that i made my best efforts and also to convince myself that I truly made a bad decision by buying a BMW.

        Uncooperative staff and unauthorised charges

        I m owner of BMW X5 Reg no-UP65CV8883, came for service at Deutsche Motor Noida on dated 9/07/2022 at 9.30 am till 6pm no body has sincerely attended vehicle. After arguing they started work. They changed different extra charges without any reason. Sitting area was very dirty, house flies were in large numbers. Customers were unhappy and unsatisfied.
        Plz take necessary action....

At the time of booking they have Committed to deliver the car between 15th - 20th April 2022, but now we are on 18th May 2022 still i have not got the delivery of my car. This car is for my wife as Anniversary Gift which is on 27th of may … but still no update… not happy with the services of dealers & bmw india

          We are following with Infinity Cars Pvt Ltd From last 1 month for the car but they dont have any information regarding when they will Delivery the Car.
          Kindly look into this matter very Seriously we are not happy with bmw services which we are getting …

              I own 630 gt and I have been a customer for 9 years. I bought this car 3 and half years back. While I was driving I felt some kind of glue in the headrest of the driving seat. When I checked it the leather in the part mentioned was worn out. A layer of the leather came out. How can I trust this brand into buying a new car or even using a car for a long period of time when such an incident has occurred at an early stage?

                We have a BMW X1 model since Jan 2011 which recently caught fire. We contacted BMW through their twitter handle and they assured attention which even after 25 days, we haven't got. However because your experience can not be based on just 1 episode, we decided to replace this with a new BMW however this didn't happen because BMW didn't want to value the existing car to bring down the down payment. They wanted more, as much possible to be paid up front if we wanted a new car as their finance team did not find merit in financing our case. But they are ok if we pay more downpayment which we didn't want to at this. Who invests money on a depreciating asset at this time. But considering we are an existing user whose car actually caught fire and is still looking to give bmw another chance, the dealerships seem least worried. They took the booking amount 20 days ago and haven't returned it still despite the fact that they are the ones who are expressing helplessness in replacing our existing car with a new one. The best part is, Bird Automotive, Gurgaon took Rs 2 lakh as booking amount and made a refund of Rs 1.98 lakhs.

                Its not about the difference of 2k in the refund value but the over all experience a bmw user for over a decade has experienced with BMW. If twitter handle wasn't a good place to escalate the matter and bring it to attention, then I guess writing an email to their president Mr Pahwa (@ Vikram.[protected]@bmw.de) would have been. We were willing to exchange knowing that BMW is struggling with wire harnesses that came out o[censored]kraine but I guess this last action of your dealer bird through its representative Megha Mishra made the effort so worthless that instead of sending our review on email. We found it better be shared with others.

                We do not expect any solution from BMW. You've only helped us understand that decade of a relationships holds no value. Old is not gold. New is the new gold. Thanks and we do not seek any compensation. BMW not replacing its own car with a new one is a message that is loud enough for every investor to read. Thanks

                  Dear Sir I am holding a New BMW car Holding No MH03DK9883 . I have send my car for first servicing to BMW Service Center Navnit Motor Andheri East Mumbai . I am sorry to say i regret taking a BMW car as i am not getting any assitance from the service center. I had send my Car for Servicing 25 days back as my first service was due. I st point is they took 10 days for giving me service date and final car was serviced with half work done. The Car was send without adding ADD Blue when the system was showing less Add Blue when i called they said the ADD Blue is out of Stock . I have been calling them and they mention the same Story. Today again Mr Atul from Service center called me and said it is out of stock and you need to Purchase the Add blue from Outside vendor with a brade SCR Grade. Every time i have send the car it is kept for a week with a reply shortage of material. Is this BMW giving such service to client for such high premium car. I regret to mention in depression that it was better to opt for a mercedes again which they give me excellent service . I need the BMW intervention as i cannot expect such reply from Service center . Expecting your early reply on the same

                    My 2 months old car has a bulge in the left rear tire. Help me understand if the tires which are placed are not for Indian roads? Because its a new car which ran just 4000 kms & tire already has an issue at 4000 KMs and the dealership says its not BMW quality issue & I need to bear the cost. How do you measure the quality of your vehicle? I am based in Delhi & not in a tier 3 town that there are no roads around.

                        I want to convey you that there is recurrent occurrence of sensor issues on my GS 310 2020 edition. i had already sent mail to you but no replay from your side this is the last and final time i am sending you this email i am fed up with this and going to sell this bike right away please be more responsible over your products its third time i am facing this issue. Its only driven 6456 km only i don't know what to do i can't pay for this...

                        In reference to our BMW X5 30d, (Model year: 2016, Chassis number: WBAKS470200S5113, Engine No: 0005Y063)I am the owner of the above vehicle and was enjoying the ownership from 2016 until a few days back and the joy was evaporated due to the inept handling of a trivial repair issue complicated by your local dealer KUN Motoren located at Mangalagiri, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh.
                        The genesis of issue is :
                        The vehicle has been running well since we purchased the same in the year 2016 and we never experienced any problem whatsoever. That being the case, recently twice or thrice, we experienced a small jerk when using the vehicle at highway speeds of 60-80 KMPH. And, to be just cautionary I did contact our local BMW workshop and submitted my car on 3rd of January 2022 to see if there was any issue or is everything good. We were then advised that it is a minor issue and would cost us around Rs.15, 000 - 16, 000 for changing the gearbox rubber mount for which we have given necessary approval on the phone.
                        Later on after a two or three days' time, we received a phone call from the above BMW workshop advising that the vehicle, while performing the trail run after changing the rubber mount, had stopped midway and had to be towed to the workshop. They advised that the engine needs to be opened for finding out the defect for the breakdown while performing a test drive and sought our approval.
                        We then gave our approval for opening the engine for identification of the problem and for necessary rectification as we assumed that it is a minor problem. To our surprise and dismay, we have received an email from the BMW Workshop giving a quotation for the sum of Rs 25, 25, 815.24 (Twenty five lakhs twenty five thousand eight hundred and fifteen rupees) with an advice to pay 50% upfront.
                        Let me summarize the entire issue:
                        1. The vehicle has encountered a very minor issue when we were driving twice or thrice, a simple one which is hardly noticeable and has not stopped in between when I was driving.
                        2. We have contacted the BMW workshop and they advised us initially that just a gearbox rubber mount has to be changed and would cost us anywhere between Rs 15, 000 - 16, 000 for which we have given our consent.
                        3. Later on after two or three days, we received a phone call that the vehicle has been stopped while doing a test drive after the replacement part has been added. and the engine needs to be opened. We expected a minor problem and gave consent for the same.
                        4. But, the estimate received from the workshop for a sum of Rs 25.25 Lakhs speaks otherwise.
                        We are of the opinion that the entire issue is due to the inept and inexperienced handling by your workshop personnel and we are in no way responsible for the huge estimate given by your workshop, because we have handed over the vehicle in a good working condition
                        We, therefore, request you to take remedial steps for the restoration of the vehicle in a good running condition in which the same was handed over to the workshop.
                        I think BMW is a world class company with great German build and engineering. and hope necessary rectification will be done by being true to your reputation. But, if no steps are taken from your side for the rectification, I have no choice but to scrap my hard earned car and never return to purchase or dream of an other BMW ever.

                            I have a bmw xi bearing no- wb02an6220. At present my car is showing to replace the front brake pads and i have already traveled with this for quite a few kilometres and at present total kilometre is exhausted. Moreover my shock absorber is broken i think so by the sound for which i am unable to drive due to heavy sound and the front headlight was not fitted properly for which it is becoming very difficult to drive at night and as per the massage my car servicing is due.
                            To day morning i called to mr tridipto mondal for booking of my car but he told my booking will not be before 15th of january 2022 which for two months i will not be able to drive due to faulty brake, broken shock absorber and headlight.
                            In this regard i want to is this is your procedure to force a customer to drive a car with this faults and i f i drive if any accidents occur then who will be responsible?
                            i have purchased a bmw by paying a huge amount and i am unable to use the car due to your fault for not repairing in time.
                            In this regard i am once again requesting you to take the booking immediately without any delay so that i can use it and if you are unable then i will drive the car with this faulty things and you will be sole responsible if any accident occur.
                            Waiting for you early reply other wise i will have no other option then to complain in proper forum

                              I am very much mentally harashed & highly unsatisfied by uour service at Nawanit MOtors MUmbai.I gave my card X-1 for servisning
                              but prblem was nor solved it is 15 days now.They call to reexamine car problem twice as fog collect in head lap.Then they informed me lapc has been changed when I cace back gain observes faon is collected in lamp. Today agin phoned me to sent the car .
                              Is it the the way to servise the car ? Also I Observes the lamp was not changed even then How youcan chared for it?
