Boat — Audio lag problem after 1 year

I noticed a small delay in audio while watching videos on my Boat Rockerz 551 ANC. I was using it for almost 1 year without any trouble, so I thought there was some internal issue. I contacted support just to check, and they asked me to update the firmware once. After doing that, the lag disappeared completely. I didn’t know about this but now I keep updating every few months.
