Booking.com — Complaint for cancellation without consent

I made a reservation for the Twin Villa, Igatpuri on June 04, 2021 bearing confirmation number [protected] by online website booking.com.
This reservation was done by me for my parents and their friends. Accordingly, at 12:00 hours my parents arrive at the property, whereby while check-in they were informed that Villa is already booked. My dad showed the relevant confirmation email received from Booking.com along with the confirmation ID. But to his surprise the manager did not allow him to check in. Even after receiving confirmation email we weren’t allowed to check in.
Therefore, i tried to contact consumer services and elucidated the entire matter. Whereby we were informed that they will look into the matter and get back to us within 30 minutes. My dad waited for more than an hour but did not receive any response.
Moreover, I received at email from booking.com stating that your reservation at Twin Villa has been cancelled. Our bookings were cancelled without any communication.
We again tried contacting customer service and requested them for alternate booking. But Booking.com failed to provide us an alternate accommodation. We are really disappointed with Booking.com service.
It is not the kind of treatment I would have expected from Booking.com being one of the largest OTT platform.
