BookMyBai — They are unwilling to refund for a service not done properly. Irresponsible Team

I was in need for domestic help for 8 hours and reached out to BookMyBai as I felt an Agency would be a better options. As per the contract, we paid the one month charges, and we were introduced to a lady who stopped coming after collecting her salary without informing anyone. After expressing our situation to BooMyBai team, there was no replacement sent for 6 days where we had to do all the work at home for the next 10 days, 2 ladies were sent and both of them did not show up after 1 - 2 day’s work.

Our requirement and scope of work was clearly expressed over the phone to the agent [1], we are not sure what was communicated to the ladies who did show up. After expressing our dissatisfaction in their service, not knowing if the maid will come or not, we had to manage cleaning our house and work for about 15 days. Something we are not prepared for. After seeing that nothing is been done to help us we wanted to discontinue the services and requested for a refund to which they refused and said they cannot refund the money. But we did not get proper service, and not having a refund policy itself is wrong. The agent [1] & team lead [2] don’t reply to calls and don’t have any human concern to the problems faced by us. There so called manager [3] also does not follow up with us. There is no surety given to us either.

It was giving me mental tension trying to reach agent [1] & her team lead [2] over the phone. Manager [3] would never even reach out to me even after several messages left on the Whatsapp group.

We have to pay BookmyBai well in advance one month salary, for an uninterrupted service. If that service is not received why is there no refund policy?
If the maid they send don’t turn up after 1-2 days of work without warning, why is there no refund policy?
If we have to do the work assigned to the maid, why is the Agency work? Why is there no refund policy?
After explaining clearly the amount of work expected, maids complain about it. That means the agency has not informed them clearly about it. Why should we suffer for their mistakes? Why is there no refund policy?
We were told that they are unable to find a maid for our requirement by the agent [1]. Then why there is no refund policy?
If we have to do the maids work, what am I paying BookmyBai for? Why there is no refund policy?
When any service company does not give proper service, what should the consumer do? be under loss of money and mental tension? Why a service company does not have a refund policy when proper service is not given?
There is no way to escalate the matter to higher management. When agent [1] and team lead [2] are on leave, their work is not delegated to another member. There is no follow up calls made by anyone, we have to keep calling/messaging them, still no response. When we don’t get an agency service, why there is no refund policy?

I request your help to refund my money[protected] + 1800 [GST]), as we not received proper service from BookMyBai agency.
