[Resolved] BookMyShow — Not permitting cancellation of tickets and not giving refund | |||||
I booked EIGHT tickets for a show to be performed at NCPA on 12th March i.e. after 19 days.The booking was done on book my show's official website & payment was made through American express credit card. I wanted to cancel FOUR tickets. BMS refuses to cancel the tickets & refund the amount. I tried to talk to them on phone but they refused. Mr. Adnan their executive even refused to give me name & telephone number of the person in their organisation or From NCPA. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Unfortunately, when a booking is confirmed on our website, the seats are reserved at the cinema and are deemed sold. Since, online bookings are confirmed transactions, tickets once booked cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded from our end. Also, there is no provision wherein we can make any modification in show date, time, movie, seats etc which are already confirmed. Keeping the cancellation norm in mind, it would have been an opportunity for customers to bring a smile on their dear one's face by gifting those tickets.
