I am filing this complaint against Bosch India regarding my refrigerator, which I purchased around 5 years ago. The compressor has now failed twice, most recently in June 2024. The first compressor was replaced earlier under warranty. I have attached the original invoice and the service history for reference.
Despite this being a repeated failure of the same critical component, Bosch is now insisting that I pay for gas charging, which is only required because of their faulty compressor. This is completely unjust and against fair consumer practices.
I have repeatedly contacted their customer service (Service Order No. [protected]), including emails to the main office at Secretarial.[protected]@in.bosch.com, but I have received no resolution or even a response. The local service center has also stopped responding to calls.
This kind of negligence and silence from a reputed brand like Bosch is unacceptable. I am requesting the National Consumer Helpline to kindly take up this issue and direct Bosch to:
• Fully cover the cost of repair including gas charging
• Issue an apology and confirmation in writing
• Improve their communication and service response
I am also prepared to submit this to consumer court if required. Please find all documents attached for reference.
