I purchased the reliance datacard on April 2012 under the Advance rental plan of 3 months for ( Rs 2400 ). The connection was taken for an unlimited plan of 3.2 Mbps and from theday 1 I took the connection, I have been complaining about slow speeds (sometimes even 2 Kbps) to reliance customer care number. The customer care executives have done troubleshooting several times and I have done everything else that they asked me to do. After several complaints, the reliance network team confirmed that Iam under a weak coverage location and closed the issue. On further escalating this issue, I was promised a waiver/discount for all the forthcoming months till the issue is resolved and they confirmed that they CANT provide any waiver for first 3 months ( APRIL, MAY, JUNE ), since the amount was already paid. With the repeated complaints and after confirming mine as a genuine case, they granted me a discount for the month of ( JULY & AUGUST ) and again stopped providing the waiver from SEPTEMBER, citing that discounts can’t be passed for more than 2 months inspite of facing the same issue. I raised a complaint ( No:[protected] again on 18th October 2012 and the network team confirmed that Iam still under a weak coverage location and haven’t been able to fix this issue from April 2012 to till date. Considering their inability to fix this issue for such a long duration, I raised a request to terminate my connection (Ref No:[protected] on 23rd October 2012. But Reliance customer care refused to take up my cancelation request and asked me to pay the entire amount of Rs.1758
1) I wonder why I have to pay the entire amount when the issue ( with the speed ) still remains unresolved and what prevents them from giving a discount for the same issue which was granted before. I don’t understand the logic by which the company rules are meant in billing the customers as they like when the issues are still open.

2) I need compensation for the bad service and the mental trauma experienced in my first 3 months where the entire full amount was already paid for the 3 months in advance. Just because we had already paid the amount, Reliance can’t take their customers as granted and get away without giving any proper solution or compensation/discount for the money taken from us on the bad service.

3) Iam ready to pay the bill as they promised to me according to my data usage for Sept ’12 & Oct ’12 month. They never informed/alerted me that they won’t give any discount for the third time on the same issue. . If I had known this earlier, I would have already terminated my connection in the September month itself. I feel I have been cheated as they are unable to keep up the promise and deliver a quality service from April 2012 – Oct 2012. Now, There has been harassment from reliance customer care trying to call me and blackmail me to pay the amount.


I request the concerned authority to look into this and provide a judgment on this.

Reliance Communications — Data Card Rental

Hi

I was using Reliance Data Card with Freedom Plan. Suddenly i had to move to a project. I had sent a mail asking them to change the plan to Zero Rental. They also confirmed the same. But i have been getting regular monthly bills for Rs. 174+ taxes. When contacted they say, Zero rental is Rs. 174/- . Are we fools to believe this. This is another group trying to loot us.

Reliance Communications — Reliance Data card not working , company charged me advance rental and not bothered to repair.

I purchased Reliance Datacard and paid one year advanced rental for the same. It was sent for repair on 16th April'08 to Relaince Authorized service centre. The company took 50 days to give back the card . It is still not working. Service centre told me to go call Relaince Customer service as they claim the datacard is ok but problem in network. I called Relaince customer service, who told me to visit Relaince Web world. The Reliance Web world people tried to rectify than refferred again to Customer Service. A person from Technical team visited me, tried to correct the problem with no success. He confirmed me, it will be replaced in 24 hours and my rental adjsuted. Nothing happend. I put complaint at Relaince Customer service in the website, they did not bother to reply. Finally i put compalint in Reliance Service Assurance, who mailed me twice that your problem will be rectified within 24 hours and passed another 5 days. Finally i get a mail from Service assurance team that go back again to Service centre. I have wasted my 3 months following up with Reliance with no success. They have charged me advanced rental for year and hence do not bother. I have wasted my Money on relaince and finally got my new connection on Airtel . I seek refund of my money from Relaince and also like to make aware people of the product / Service/ Service assurance offered by Relaince Communcations.
I purchased data card on 17 july 2008 from Relaince Communication, Malviye Nagar New Delhi from Raju. data card no is [protected]. at the time of purchase he told me thau you will nou have to pay anything for 2 months as rental and after two months i can opt any plan. but after 20 days i recieved a bill of Rs260. they put me in Rs650 plan where rental exists. i complaint and Ms. Savita assured me to change the plan in Rs 400 night plan and said me that u can use it from 10p.m to 6a.m., no extra charge you will have to pay. but she did not do it. on the date of 15 september i got mail that you have a bill of Rs884. when i called her again 1st time she told me i'll let u know in 15 minute but she did not call me back. after 45 minute when i was calling her then she refused to attend my call. In evening after 7-8 attempt another boy recieved my call and refused to tell me his name as well as manager's name.
I seek refund of my money from Relaince and also like to make aware people of the product / Service/ Service assurance offered by Relaince Communcations.

I want to tell you that the bill genrated from your end is not satisfactory and have may mistakes. Some of problems are follows:_

1) There is addition of Rs 175 as value added tax which is not at all used.
2) I had given bill payments to reliance counication, but no sms recived till date.
3) i had given a call to custmore care for acsses bill but no answer yet, the guy had given me a commitment that you will get the answer in 48 hours on the mail.

Kindly look into the mater and please tell me that why these things are happening.

As we are facing similar froblems from other friends and our employes.

We are having more than 45 post paid connections in our circle of reliance only, if these types of practices will not stop we all have to move to other company.

i started my new data card and i select a 400 rupees plan. But after 2 months they send me 650 rupees plan bill and plus charges.

i dnt have any option to use or throw its useless

Reliance Netconnect — Fake Billing + Cheating

Hi All,
I did not expect a great deal of ethics from this company when I started. I request anyone using this not to get a reliance data card. It is the worst possible service with fake bills. I was singed in for 499/month plan. For the first two months the bill was in range and in the third month they suddenly changed the tarrif to 1200/mnth without intimating me. I am planning to file a complaint in the consumer court about this and have all necessary documents. Before this issue becomes public I request everyone not to get this service as with the cost of the sim card you become tied to their worst service and fake billing.

Reliance Data card NETCONNECT — Disconnects at 12.40 sharp

i have subscribed for a netconnect unlimited package but the Reliance Data card connection disconnects at 12.40 am and then reconnects on its own in the morning. This is happening since the past 1 month all calls to webword and the reliance help desk does not do anything to resolve the issue. All i get is iam sorry and we are working on your request , the webworld call centre , has nothing much to offer but only are there to answer calls or else ur issues cannot be resolved at all through them. So a consumer you are left frustrated due to the technical error from Reliance. This problem has nothing to do with the computer or the data card , the very fact that it is disconnected sharp at a particular time and reconnects on its own. 1 month to resolve an issue is pathetic, the reply is the same , dont we know why it is disconnected. Disappointment and frustration is all wat a consumer gets from reliance. Beware Consumers.

Till this issue is resolved, Could you please ask your customer executive to refrain from sending the automated messages relating to my billing payment. I keep getting the sms, saying that a demand notice has been sent to me regarding the pending payment. I donno why they are sending the sms continuously without knowing the true facts while the issue is pending at your side for a reply. Such sms are really disturbing, creating mental agony and affecting my day to day activities. Would appretiate if you understand the customers pain and provide an ETA on this to resolve it quickly.

I have purchased my data card in 2009 and have been using it for the data plan 10GB Unlimited plan for 3.1 Mbps. From Jan 2012 I have been facing slow connectivity issues which I'm getting below 10 Kbps. I have raised serveral complaints against the customer care of Reliance which they always say that they are going to improve the number of towers but they never did.

Since the connection speed is never improved I have terminated my datacard by paying May 2012 bill. The customer care stated that they have terminated the contract and I will not be getting any more bills.

Recently, I started getting calls from customer care of Reliance that I have bills pending to be payed which is of Rs 872.

From June 2012 they are charging in the name of "safe custody charges" which is of Rs 112.00 which got accumulated to 872/- with late fees of Rs 50 every month.
The amount got accumulated from Rs 40/- in July 2012 to 872/- in Dec 2012. I dont know why I have to pay the bill even I've terminated my datacard contract by paying the last months amount.

From July 2012, I dont have any clue that the bills are getting generated as they have not send any bills to my mail id or home address.
Since I have terminated the datacard, I've not checked the billing site from June 2012.

This is like cheating the customers with unknown charges.

I am not ready to pay any amount as I've paid my last bill which is on May 2012 and terminated the datacard.

It is like torture/harassment to me that Reliance customer care are calling in my office hours and I was unable to concentrate on my work.

I request the consumer court to take proper action on Reliance Broadband Netconnect+ department.

It is terrible that I got a call from Reliance customer care, since the request for my card termination is 6 months back and they send it only on sms and not by mail id. I couldn't give him the request number. He is so ridiculous that I've to give the complaint number or I have to pay the amount. They have the request number in their records but since they want to harass customers, they want the customers to give the request numbers. This is the kind of company Reliance communications is. I need a proper justification on my issue. I dont want to pay the amount for which I've not availed the services.
