BWSSB — NON ACCEPTANE OF CHEQUES FOR WATER BILL PAYMENTS

I approaced BWSSB bill payment centre at PES College, Hanumanthnagar, Bangalore area for payment of my water bill. To my surprise, when ever I approach the centre for bill payment, the concerned person at the centre refuses to accept the cheques for payment of the water bill. Directs me to approach Mount Joy Centre for payment of my Bill. It is the same response at this centre also. They directed me to approach Krishna Rao Park Centre or Kathriguppa Centre to make the payment. I do not know whether the bills are accepted (by cheque payment) at these centres also. I really tired by visiting these centres just for making payment by cheque. This problem, I am facing for the past couple of years. But still, the problem is not set right. I want to know, why these disparity in accepting the bills by Cheque Payments only ? This problem is there since couple of years. No one knows when these Payments (by Cheques) be set right. I really upset whenever I receive the Water bill for payment. This is one of the main reason, Why people keeping their bills pending for months together. I request the concerned officer, may look into it and set right the issue, as it is pending for couple of years.
