Lack behavious skills
I had lost my mobile. I went to police station to lodge a FIR so that with the FIR report i can block my connection with the service provider.
It was around 8.30 PM and there was no power at the police station (Banaswadi police station, behind Jal vayu vihar).
I just informed to one of the person working there that i lost my mobile and want to lodge a FIR report, But that person he spoke so rudely / arrogantly and informed its not possible now come tomorrow morning. As there was no power in the station i was not able to note the persons name.They dont know the proper decency to behave. No Politeness in their talks. The way he speaks it feels we should never go to these people again. So horrible people they are. (not everyone but few of those working in low grades who interact directly with public)
Similar kind of situations, if we apply for passport, we have to pay them minimum amount of Rs.250/- to get the police clearance certificate. Even if we are not willing to pay they openly say "u want passport or not". I[censored] want passport, u pay so much. This does not end here. They gave me two forms and informed to get 5 xerox copies of it, along with that buy one tube of glue, one box of stapler pins.
I still dont understand why does the passport department believe the documents from police department to issue a passport to our citizens.
To list out there are so many. Cos i know we can never change them nor will they change. Its better i change myself.

Local Rowdies and Gangs disturbance
Sir,
I would first request you to pardon me for not giving my Identity.
It is very sad to express that the safety in Bangalore is deteriorating day by day. There is no regular patrolling in the areas of Yeshwanthpur and Diwanarapalya - near kannada medium Chandrodaya school premises, road parallel to Ayyappa Temple, Diwanarapalya Bus Stop areas within, as the roads are always empty and haven for all anti-social activities, where local gangs are using the areas at every corner of the street, not giving free space for the passers by as well lots of young pairs can been seen in dark areas. I have seen lots of police beats on the main roads where shops are situated only for their regular collections using Hoysala Jeeps and Cheeta Bikes. I have also noted that police beats are conducted inside the areas once in a blue moon and when gangs are seen, the vehicle just moves further un-noted only because the people involved in the gangs are related or friends of local political rowdies or with high influence who give regular money to the cops during local functions. It is not considered safe for a person like us to interrupt the happening because, we fear about security at home. The gangs here are found till late in the night by 12.00 am sometimes with boozing around with bottles in their hands, parking their cars as they want and disturbing with high volume music. And these gangs start playing shuttle cork late in the evening, not concerned about the women and people crossing across. I have also seen these gangs using the Kannada Medium Chandrodaya school premises (inside the school compound) boozing and throwing bottles. I think, this rate of negligence of Police in checking the crime rate and causing inconvenience to local public, we expect Bangalore to be top on the notorious list.
Sir, as a responsible citizen of this country, I seek your urgent and strict intervention in the above matter and request your good selves to do the needful to the general public.
People around the area don't open their mouth like me for their safety from such gangs. I have seen a resident objecting the activities of the gang and in turn, the gang started using illicit languages on the person and the family objecting their activities.
And these days, it is bad to worse, the activities around the entire area, its their haven, found till midnight and sometimes further, making huge noise, using illicit languages, etc. I once again seek your urgent intervention and immediate action against the gangs and concerned related people.
I hope, by giving special intervention of department, once again there will be confidence in the department and peace of mind in the locality.
Kindly do the needful.

yes yes similar case is here in my locality also in ramachandrapura bangalore 21 1st cross 1st mainroad there is a vacant land 30-100 in this a lote of garbage is dumped by localites we couldnt stop them and round the clock there is parking of 4 to 5 tractors are parked here behind parked vehicles there 10-20 peaples are using drugs abuse languages frequently these peaples are visitors only but after 10pm a 10 peaple gang is there these peaple very estreem they park a auto no KA -02 4363 THEY will drink here a whole night shouting abuse languages never hoysala petrolling in the street by chance a petrolling is there these gangesters are femiler to the police staffs we the residents are faceing a lote of problems facing here we are not able solve these we are dark to over these issues day to day we lost the sleep &patients in day please do need ful help i hope kjindly needful expected citizen of bengaluru.
Sir good morning as i am Abhilash from tumkur when i came to banglore i under went with one issue.
As when i was crossing from bus stand to railway station through under pass a person came near me by having some watches in his hand and told me to take it for 20 rs i was shocked and i was noticing this incident from past one year so just to know about the condition of the model i took from him and after giving it to me he told that it costs 2000 rs at the same time another person joined me of his troop only and he asked that watch for 1000 rs so the seller told that he cant give for that price so i also told him i am not interested to take the watch so he became angry and told me that you have to take the watch at any cost.
The person standing beside me told me to offer for one price so i asked him for 200 rs he became ready to give for that price itself. At the same time seller hit once to the person standing beside to me and he told me that they are from rowdisum back ground so take the watch i didnt agree for it after 10 min he took the watch from me. At that time no police person was ther to complaint if they would have been also nothing they will do just collect 50 or 100 rs from them itself.
So i request you to have a investigation on this issue.

Sir please take action against pick packaters. We are facing lot of problems in bus. They will get into the bus and standing near to foot board and picking the valuables from the public. They will have 4 persons and they always stands in Appolo Stop and J.D.Mara Stop in between 7.30 am to 8.45 am. They will attach the public in bus. The buses coming from B.G.Road is facing problems. Plaease take necessary action. We requested Mico Layout police but they are not taking action. Please do the needful and protect the interest of the public. Please work in the ends of justice.
Hi I am a citizen o[censored]ttarahalli chikalasandra. I would like to raise a police complaint against one security gaurd of my building who has been making our live misserable.In the morining as well as in the evening when i return home this chap is trying to haras me as well as other people of the building a.I am feddup of telling people help me or else then the final solution is to hit him as well as his family members.

due to some problem come home and hit all the womans in the house. They are threatening that
they will kill Us. They broke the vessels in the house and are speaking hot words. We are now

Harassment by police
Hi,
Hope this incident that happened to me on the 20 April, 2008 helps people understand how cops act when it comes to doing their jobs. My name is Suraj Paul, and I am a residence of Bangalore.
This incident occurred at about 6 pm, while I was going towards chinaswamy stadium from Kids kemp on MG Road. Once I reached the brigade road signal, I stopped since it was red. I was in my Scorpio. As most of you know that half this road is blocked for metro construction. Once the lights turned green as I just began to move forward a person from my left tried cutting to the right of the road. He hit my car and fell down. He did not get injured nor was his bike, a yellow Karizma. His name was Mohammad.
There were about 4 traffic police and about 2-3 normal cops there. They immediately came to me and asked me to bring my car to the side. I asked the cop politely if he had seen the incident, but he started to use bad words at me like loud* etc. I told him that it was not my fault, but he refused to listen.
He asked me for my license and when I showed it to him he kept it in his pocket and refused to give it back. The cops name was Kenchapa, he was a sub inspector.
The bike rider also started accusing me (though he was the one who had broken the rule, of overtaking from the left, and he was the one who rammed into my car). When ever I tried to talk to the police all he did was use bad words and asks me to pay the other rider.
The Bike guy was shouting and creating a big scene, he then called his brothers, and they came and spoke to me and demanded Rs.3000 for the damages for his bike, which in this case was his own fault. And the cost of the damages was nothing but a little pain job.
Police at this point are just there to harassment the common man. No logic, no talking they just demand a price. The biker was shouting in Hindi I think he was drunk. The cops did not ask him anything nor tested him for alcohol all they said was settles it with him.
After a while when I got a chance to talk to the cop, all he said was since I was in a bigger vehicle I have to pay the other person, irrespective of what may have happened.
First of all I want to know is there any Rule that a cop can STEAL your driving license and not give it back.
Second is there such a rule which says, the bigger vehicle driver is always at fault.
Thirdly, is it right for cops to use such bad language for no reason?
There should be someone to look into this and stop such incidences from happening again. We call this a developed city when such things still happen here. Its time we spoke up and make this city a better place to live in.

I pity you man. I have undergone the worst of this kind. From that I can answer the questions above.
1 . No traffic constable has the right to take your vehicle keys or your driving license unless approved by the sub-inspector of that area who MUST be on that spot.
2. This is one such rule framed by the cops to make their job easier. I even filed a petition against this in the court. All I got is from the magistrate in person is " Do you want to spend the rest of your life by visiting the court ???? Ya there is no such rule. But how will you ever prove that you did not do any mistake ?? Even if one of the concerned party is not present you will be summoned again. So accept that you did it and pay the fine !!". Even that is not so easy. You have to bribe each and every person right from "dawali" ->typist -> clerk -> magistrate. The reason why cops do this is, for each summon a cop of that area police station should be present. Even though its their job they dont prefer to do that and victimize us.
3. Its sad but they hold the authority and if you have time you can raise a complaint with higher officials. It worked for few of my friends.

Even i faced a similar incident 5 days back in HSR Layout.
I'm from tamil nadu, for the past 2 years im working in an IT Company in Bangalore and staying in HSR layout.
Myself and 2 of my friends taken drinks, and after 4 hours my friend got a call that one of his relative passed away, and he started to Tamil Nadu.
I have a KA Registration bike, but the other guy has a TN Registration bike. at that time we are not able to get any auto since it was late night, and it is a residential area. the tamilnadu bus stops at bommenahalli. so we planned to go there and drop him. it is less than 1 KM. but in a turning 2 cops where standing as they are police constables, they normally enquires dobutful persons and take a sign from those people.
I was riding my KA registration bike, and i was going first, then my friend was coming in the TN Registration bike, He didn't stopped me, but stopped my friend because the bike is having Tamil Nadu Registration Number. This is the reason he stopped the bike. and he asked for bike keys, and my friend handed over his key. he asked whether you drunk, we agreed that we drunk, and explained the situation.
he never agreed, and he demanded Rs.4000, (2000 for each bike).
Whenever my friend started talking in Tamil, (obiviously he dont know other languages other than English) one of the cop got angry, and scolded in all bad words.
-The thing to note here is cops accepts if we speak in English (A foreign language, who ruled us and did all bad things to indians for over 300 years), but they will use all bad words if they know that we are using Tamil, the nearest state language.
Finally, i told him that i will get money from ATM, he agreed and allowed me to go to an ATM, which is in Bomennahalli, and also said dont go thru Silkboard, because traffic police is standing there.
I went to ATM, got Rs.1100, 1000 is for my friend who is going home, and hundread is for this night beggers (cops). i kept 1000 in my bike tank cover, and 100 in my purse and returned.
During this time they told my friends, atleast they need Rs.100. and when i came there they asked for my bike documents, and i said, it was in my tank cover. one cop went and taken the documents as well as Rs.1000/- from tank cover. he said, "If you have pledged me that, you have only 100 i could have accepted and forgived you, but you people hidden Rs. 1000 from me, so i am taking you to police station"
Then he demanded Rs.1000 and i given him Rs. 500, and while going he smiled and said, please go and drop your friend!!!
One more incident near forum,
when i was driving my friends bike (Avenger, TN Registered bike), which got in an accident and i was in the process of packing it back to his home, my flat is in HSR Layout, i need to go to Lalbagh for packing this bike. so i rided this bike. when i was on the way to Lalbagh, it is around 7.30 PM, sunday night. so the road is full of traffic. i was standing near the divider (middle of the road) suddenly a traffic constable came and holded my bike and said "i seased your bike"!.
-The question is how come he can say that he seased the bike without asking/verifying any documents.
then he taken to the sub-inspector (traffic), there are around 3-4 persons standing like me, and 1 sub-inspector (young man), and 1 traffic constable and 1 inspector (Aged Person) were standing there.
The inspector was standing 200 meters from the sub-inspector. i told him that i dont have money.
after some time the constable asked my to speak to Sub-Inspector. I said the same to him and he asked me "how much do you have?", i said "36 rupees sir".
And during this time the inspector came towards the Sub-Inspector, So Sub-Inspector was little afraid and told me (Urged me, since i was holding the money in my hand), its okay take your bike and go.
I went to the constable for key, he didn't accepted my words and again came to the SI, and told him "he is not giving any money". again the SI asked for money, and i replied " I have only 36 rupees". again the Inspector came towards the SI, and i was holding Rupees 36 in my hand including six 1 rupee coins. again the SI urged me to go. and the constable has given me the key.

Why i said these things is because,
I Did small mistakes, Police did big mistakes.
I was punished for my mistakes, by bribing them (as a compulsion).
So there is no punishment for big mistakes comitted by these police man?
I should not blindly scold these police man, because the government is responsible, the soceity is responsible and the IT companies are responsible for the mistakes done by these cops.
1. Goverment pay very less for these cops (say 4000 for a constable). where as a normal person who completed PUC/XII std is earning 15000 per month (hardly 4 times more than these people).
A police station (Say Madiwala) should cover all(rondhe) the entire madiwala the whole night, to stop crimes. for which they get a petrol allowance per month is Rs.500-1000. which is not at all sufficient to cover the entire area using their Jeep and Suzuki Fiero / Pulsor.
2. The soceity always think, that we can use money to hide our mistakes. some places police is forced to get a bribe from public. They think if we give money cops will keep quite and support our mistakes.
3. IT Companies and IT Peoples,
Unknowingly increasing House Rents, Making the habbit of giving tips to Autowalas/Restaurants,
Going to night clubs, pubs, wearing glamour dresses/Jewells and making the locals and people who earns less angry. thus spoiling our traditional cultures, and creating a scene that IT peoples are the most respected/decipline, whereas the police who struggles the whole night/day standing under police umbrella gets a very less salary, its a matter of fact any human being will feel jealous and get anger on the other because, they cant get a 1BHK house for Rs.[protected], still they earn only[protected] per month. they cant buy a flat for 35-45Lakhs, since the IT people can do that by simply making a signature in bank housing loan form, where as the other professionals might struggle a lot to get a loan.
Thus every one is involved in this issue.

then he taken to the sub-inspector (traffic), there are around 3-4 persons standing like me, and 1 sub-inspector (young man), and 1 traffic constable and 1 inspector (Aged Person) were standing there.
The inspector was standing 200 meters from the sub-inspector. i told him that i dont have money.
after some time the constable asked my to speak to Sub-Inspector. I said the same to him and he asked me "how much do you have?", i said "36 rupees sir".
And during this time the inspector came towards the Sub-Inspector, So Sub-Inspector was little afraid and told me (Urged me, since i was holding the money in my hand), its okay take your bike and go.
I went to the constable for key, he didn't accepted my words and again came to the SI, and told him "he is not giving any money". again the SI asked for money, and i replied " I have only 36 rupees". again the Inspector came towards the SI, and i was holding Rupees 36 in my hand including six 1 rupee coins. again the SI urged me to go. and the constable has given me the key.

Why i said these things is because,
I Did small mistakes, Police did big mistakes.
I was punished for my mistakes, by bribing them (as a compulsion).
So there is no punishment for big mistakes comitted by these police man?
I should not blindly scold these police man, because the government is responsible, the soceity is responsible and the IT companies are responsible for the mistakes done by these cops.
1. Goverment pay very less for these cops (say 4000 for a constable). where as a normal person who completed PUC/XII std is earning 15000 per month (hardly 4 times more than these people).
A police station (Say Madiwala) should cover all(rondhe) the entire madiwala the whole night, to stop crimes. for which they get a petrol allowance per month is Rs.500-1000. which is not at all sufficient to cover the entire area using their Jeep and Suzuki Fiero / Pulsor.
2. The soceity always think, that we can use money to hide our mistakes. some places police is forced to get a bribe from public. They think if we give money cops will keep quite and support our mistakes.
3. IT Companies and IT Peoples,
Unknowingly increasing House Rents, Making the habbit of giving tips to Autowalas/Restaurants,
Going to night clubs, pubs, wearing glamour dresses/Jewells and making the locals and people who earns less angry. thus spoiling our traditional cultures, and creating a scene that IT peoples are the most respected/decipline, whereas the police who struggles the whole night/day standing under police umbrella gets a very less salary, its a matter of fact any human being will feel jealous and get anger on the other because, they cant get a 1BHK house for Rs.[protected], still they earn only[protected] per month. they cant buy a flat for 35-45Lakhs, since the IT people can do that by simply making a signature in bank housing loan form, where as the other professionals might struggle a lot to get a loan.
Thus every one is involved in this issue.

on 29-5-08 i visited sai babas ashram at white field, my driver had parked my four wheeler in such a way that it was not an obstruction for nay other vehicle or people almost away from the ashram near the canteen whic very far from the ashram. a cop approched him and told showed him a spot and told him to park at that spot, later he did as he was told, after sometime two cops on a bike approched him and told him to open his purse straight away, took rs100/- from him, when the driver asked a recipit for the payment, they told him that it was for the vegetable expenses for the circle inspector.i presume there is a link between the first cop and the second set of cops for harassing money. as my vehicle registration no is from mandaya, they might have taken an adavantage as we dont waste our time tracking them ar taking the incidents to higher ups, any how i have highlited them about the incident on their complaint section, hope some good officer sees that it is not repeated in future. Similar thing happened to me today; my car was stopped near tin factory by a cop because it has Kerala regn plate; he asked for licence, insurance and PC cert; gave all three; he then asked to pay Karnataka road tax; I declined saying I will not pay life tax but will pay for the period I am in Karnataka; he said there is no such provision; his instruction from "higher up" is to intecept all non Karnataka vehicles; he said he will detain me till commissioner comes or else I can go paying Rs 400; I refused and waited for 3 hours but commissioner never came; he left me with a warning not show this vehicle!!

This complaint I am rising against Traffic police in Karnataka.
Traffic inspector: S.N Chikkanna & Constable. Place:J.C Road
Yesterday (11th Jan) I was driving my 2 wheeler (TN 59 AA 4434) in JC road and I have taken the right turn (the road which will connect JC road and Urvasi Theater) before signal change to orange color. Before my vehicle 3 tempos were passing and those are caught by traffic police and I was behind these vehicles.
Traffic police negotiated some money from them and collected with out any fine slip. (I saw Tempo people showed all documents even then police people got money).
My vehicle also caught by the police and they told I jumped signal. I am sure I have not jumped the signal and I was arguing with them but they were not ready to agree and put a fine of Rs 400. I asked them to show the fine card but don’t have anything and they have told to take my vehicle in court. I was arguing with them for ½ hour. (I am 100% sure I have not jumped the signal).
They gave fine slip and it’s fully return in Kannda and the amount for 400 Rs. I have not agreed to put a signature (if I put it means that I have done). And again I argued with them. ( I am sure they return so many complaints in that fine slip).
Atlast I lost my patient I gave 400 Rs but suddenly they told 500. I really shocked I asked for the reason and they said to if I give 500 then only the leave the vehicle. I totally lost my patient and gave Rs 500 (they collected the money first) and gave me the fine slip. There is one more shock in that they return rash driving, refusing to put signature, signal jump. Once again I asked them why you written rash driving and they have spoken irrespectively and come to court and speak.
Here my questions are:
1) For signal jump what is the fine rate? ( I have not done but I won’t to know)
2) Is the police thing that they can do anything with out any proof?
3) Here one more thing is my vehicle in TN registration and I observed many times all traffic police doing against TN vehicle. I have shown all documents but even then they want put some fine. ( Not small amount always 300 or 500)
4) These police people always collecting the money from all tempo vehicles even they have clear document.
As a citizen of India I like to share some points.
This is happened not only to me every day to so many people affected because of these irregularity police people.
I request you take Sevier action against these Traffic police to keep our citizen freedom.

If you want to see them in action, just stand quietly inside Symphony Theater on MG Road and look at the parking lot on the other side. They will pick up vehicles from the parking lot ! When I asked them for my bike and questioned why they took it from a 2 wheeler parking lot, they had conveniently ripped the license plate ! I even have a photo of them repeating the action. I recommend you all to go and click away.
On another occasion, a police inspector used foul language just to tell me to take left !
When I said I have to go straight ...on a road which had absolutely no restrictions in going straight ...he became furious ! Why? Because now he had no reason to harass me !
I have friends from neighboring states...Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. When I hear about the way Bangalore Police treats them, I feel very sorry for them. Even North Karnataka natives find it hard in Bangalore because of these gluttons.

Recently the Cubbon Park Traffic Police put a "No Parking Tag" on my car .Believe me the car was parked outside my house.A place perfectly on the correct side and where I have been parking since 20 years.There is a Paking Sign within 10 metres also.When I contacted them, they only had one thing to say "Pay the fine".Just because the police have a target to achieve at the end of the month, does it mean harassing individuals?

I totally agree the police people have no common sense i faced the same problem on 3/06/09 was getting back from a office party and they stopped me for drunken driving . i clearly explained to them as i was comming from a office party and i was with my family the traffic persons name was feroz khan and he said that he is giving me a court notice anf fine off rs 1800 and asked me to pay it there . i mentioned that he has to give me the recipt so that i could go to the court and pay it . he denied and mentioned that he wold do that and he would pay the lawyer . if i did not pay up they would sieze my car . They stated using all foul languages at me hearing this my wife got off the car and came across to speak and she noticed that the police keeper of the pullic was himself breakingthe law by smoking in a public place when they have put the rule themself of no smoking in public but the police refused to answer . My wife to noticed that they were not checking most of the cars that were passing by. she mentioned that too for that the police person scremed at her and told her will foul language and asked her to go sit in the car..We were quite angry and we left from that place . later in the night they call us at 2-00 am and goes on usng foul language saying that they can do whatever they want.. Is it that police can do what ever they want .. Their job is to protect and serve the public insted they harras the public...I mentioned that i would pay the fine in court but then too the would not listen.. Please advice...

Sajjan Rao Circle has a food street near to it, also known as Khu galli, i came to know that police officers ( sub inspector, constables) comes everyday in the evening and ask for money from each of the shops. Shops owners pays them 100 - 200 rs. everyday. This is the goondaism of police. Apart from that 10 - 15 police constables comes and ask for food items daily for free from the shops on the street. This is too much. Small shop owners have to give them to free, else police create problem for them. Instead of helping citizens they are harrasing them on daily basis. Such a bad shameful act by police.

Audogudi police station traffic police will come along his 5-6 people and get our bikes from the platform too and then we have to go to the police station and pay 200, 300 or 100 rs. based on the kind of sadness and panic we show. We never get any receipt and even though they know noone is ready to accept that bikes were actually in a parking zone and not wrongly parked.
It is like thieves steal money and bikes from homes and compounds and in the same way now our bikes are getting stolen from our Offices.
Whom should we complain?
People suppose to hear to our complain are themselves the greedy cops who harass people unncessary for money.
It takes half day leave for an individual to get there by bus and negotiate with greedy cops and getting the bike back.
Who will listen to common man?

I doubt if complaining about bad cops works. The last time we had a bad experience was also at the same junction (Brigade Road-Cauvery). When we took the cop's details, he told us, yes please go and complain about me. One could see that he knew he was immune from any disciplining.
The politicians have kept the police demoralized and underpaid. Together these 2 classes are responsible for 90% of India's problems. Don't you think so?

by the Developers of the Project - Mr. Mahaveer Ranka, his sons, Partner & Staff - at
the project site at Banerghatta Road by name “Paramount Pilatus”
We are introducing ourselves as one of the reputed Development & Infrastructure houses
in the country with our Corporate Office located in the IT city - Bangalore. We are an ISO
[protected] certified, young and fast growing organization with a vision to expand our
horizons in multiple fields of business. At Sovereign we believe in Excellence - in all our
Activities - our motto is underlined as – Driven by Excellence.
We have taken up building construction work for M/s Paramount Vijetha Holdings,
represented by its Managing Partner Mr. Mahaveer Ranka, vide their contract and
Agreement dated 23.06.2007 and for the past 26 months have completed about 30% of
the building project under the guidelines of the client/consultants. For this work we have
invested heavily into the site in terms of the Infrastructure, Staff, Materials and other
facilities including our own security and people.
We have completed the work and submitted the latest RA bill and our total amount due
from the customer is Rs. 2.09 crores but Sri Mahaveer Ranka has not paid the same and
in fact he has threatened our men to remove them from the site area. Against this Mr
Somashekar Reddy, our Security Officer, lodged a complaint on 14.09.2009 and the same
was acknowledged by Sub Inspector of Police, Hulimavu vide receipt No. 0452742.
We requested Mr. Mahaveer Ranka to clear our pending bills, but instead of releasing our
payment, he alleged that he has terminated the contract with us, which is unilateral,
illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the law.
Hence we were constrained to approach the City Civil Court vide Reg No. A.A. No.
697/2009, against this unilateral decision, to allegedly terminate the agreement and
contract. The copy of the petition before the court is produced herewith for your kind
perusal.
We are only interested in getting our payment due from our 10th Running RA Bill which is
over Rs.2.09 crores, but were not getting any commitment from Mr. Ranka.
Now on 25/09/2009, taking advantage of the holidays of the court and the General
Holidays, at about 1100 AM, Mr. Mahaveer Ranka along with his associates, partners,
staff and 14 goondas (pretending to be his clients, who have purchased the Flats) barged
inside the premises/site and started threatening our security, staff & labour –telling them
to vacate the site immediately, failing which they threatened that, our life will be in
danger. They further also told that - they do not fear anybody and they have the required
political backing and support and if we do not vacate the site – we will be finished.

My Security Personnel were shocked and confused as to what had to be done, as Mr.
Ranka had informed them that the people who have come to the site were his clients.
However, our staff was alert and they managed to pass the message to the Police Control
Room and the Local Police Station at Hulimavu and also to our Head Office. The Local
Police from Hulimavu reacted immediately and rushed to the site – they immediately
noted the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all the rowdies who had
trespassed the site and warned them to leave the site immediately or get arrested. On this
proposed action of the police, these rowdies immediately vacated the site and ran off.
Further our Security Officer, Mr. Someshekar Reddy, went to the Hulimavu Police Station
and lodged a written complaint which was registered by the Hulimavu Mico Layout Sub
Division, as FIR Crime number 0210/2009 dated 25th Sep 09, under the Sections
143, 149, 447 and 506 of the IPC 1860 Act against Mr. Mahaveer Ranka, Sri Ashok
Dhariwal, Mr. Aakash Ranka, Mr. Ajit Ranka, Mr. Ajay Gupta and Mr. Jagadish.
The above was required, as the law and order situation had to kept under control at any
cost on the project site, where we have invested heavily in the site in terms of
Infrastructure, Staff and Materials – to execute the project. On registration of the
complaint as mentioned above, the Station House Officer, visited the site & the spot and
could understand the tense situation there, as the local rowdies were still roaming, in and
around the site periphery only. The local police have also since then deployed two police
personnel at the site temporarily to take stock of the situation and ensure that nothing
untoward happens.
We were called to the Hulimavu Police Station on the 26th September afternoon, to explain
the points that led to this situation of the project and when the undersigned visited the
station with few of our staff, we also met Mr. Mahaveer Ranka, Mr. Akash Ranka, Mr.
Jagdish and his advocate – who were also present at the Police Station – and we had
discussions with them in front of the Inspector of Police –– but the outcome of the same
was inconclusive and they left the police station maintaining their illegal stand that, the
site be vacated immediately.
Sir, the matter is sub-judice and is to come for hearing in the court on the 3rd of October,
but still as of now, the rowdy elements are moving around the periphery of the site and
they are threatening our staff who moves in & out of the site, of dire and serious
consequences, if the site is not vacated by us immediately. We presume, all this is done
under the instructions of Mr. Mahaveer Ranka, his sons and Mr. Ashok Dhariwal, who
are remotely controlling these rowdy elements.
We fear that the issue may get more complicated than what it is today and hence we pray
and request you to give instructions to the concerned Authority and officers to investigate
and immediately take proper legal action against them – as per the prevailing law of the
land.
Because of this incident, we are fully disturbed and we fear that any untoward incident
will jeopardize our entire business operations. Even our staff and labour at the site are
feeling unsafe – and they have been asking us, to permit them, to leave the site –
therefore, it is all the more important to take suitable immediate action against Mr.
Ranka, his Sons & Mr. Ashok Dhariwal – before the situation goes out of control.

I think the entire Police force in this country are highly corrupt and incompetent cretins, who are incapable of discharging their duties efficiently. that they calling to landline when sandeep came to home they called him to
that place black mailing so he went their all accumulating threatedned him
in vulgur and cruocious unwanted language and giving beatings to him warning
him and warned killing you and spoiling whole family.they kept this matter
unknowingly to me inmy home. and second time after 2 months again in doom
light circle, kolar Ravi (councellor) they went on following and with eyes
they signalling sandeep rashly hey come hear like that and taken to Civil
bus stand. their allmy four brothers with ravi councellor infront of publics
and public place they beaten not looking anything on head wrist every where
as they needed. But I myself at that time calling him to talk friendly and
calling him as putta. shortly but but not getting reply so doing message I
stoped for some time. then they given torture to him at dat moment seeing
calls of my number and messages I think. by beating and black mailing teling
kepting atrocity and other cases like that threatedned him vulgurly with
crucious words behaviour and writing one note about my finance and my life
security they wroten one note by threatning harshly and beated him to keep
sign in that note and left hand thumb impression. But sandeep tolerated
many things for my friendliness sake thinking she is good girl. I don`t

parents going their home showing horrible nives, longs teling them where is
your son? we will killing him and burning your home like that, and taken his
father to Routh shankarappa home office near palasandra layour, kolar after
that they calling to landline when sandeep came to home they called him to
that place black mailing so he went their all accumulating threatedned him
in vulgur and cruocious unwanted language and giving beatings to him warning
him and warned killing you and spoiling whole family.they kept this matter
unknowingly to me inmy home. and second time after 2 months again in doom
light circle, kolar Ravi (councellor) they went on following and with eyes
they signalling sandeep rashly hey come hear like that and taken to Civil
bus stand. their allmy four brothers with ravi councellor infront of publics
and public place they beaten not looking anything on head wrist every where
as they needed. But I myself at that time calling him to talk friendly and
calling him as putta. shortly but but not getting reply so doing message I
stoped for some time. then they given torture to him at dat moment seeing
calls of my number and messages I think. by beating and black mailing teling
kepting atrocity and other cases like that threatedned him vulgurly with
crucious words behaviour and writing one note about my finance and my life
security they wroten one note by threatning harshly and beated him to keep

Few days back, a car owner parked his car blocking my gate, by which i was not able to even get into the house (this is called illegal parking problem of bangalore). My driver took the air out of 1 wheel (out of 4). the car owner came after 1 hr and took his vehicle. when he realised 1 wheel is out of air, he got very violence and tried to harm me. when i mentioned i had nothing to do with this..he could not listen. Next day, he went and wrote a written compliant against me that i had damaged his car very badly (which is not so).
The police inspector asked us to appology to the car owner - which we did.
the inspector then said..appology is not enough pay 5000Rs as fine. And he took my driver to the lock-up and beat him very badly...the driver was not even able to walk after that.

4) Look up who the website belongs to and send them a message. It is very easy. Use Google for help.
5) If all fails call police. India has cyber police to deal with these.

I dont know if there would be any person to look after these complaints registered.. I have checked so many complaints but dont know if these are actioned. If no hten lost of hope on Bangalore police dept.
Today i had been to party and consumbe 1 bottle of beer ( Iam being very hontest) while driving back i was caught by the police, i accepted that i had consumed alchole and was ready to attend the court but i was instited by the cop by name K K Nagaraj( Sub Inespector) to pay 5000/- fine. When i asked him the actual fine for the drink and drive he started absuing me ( Lofer, Sone of , etc in kannada) and slapped me. I never expect this kind of behaviour from the police officer inspiting of being honest.
He finally took 3000/- from me and took the receipt which he had given for drink & drive. When asked for receipt for the payment made he told to come to the police station and also absued saying that if i dont live that place he will lock me in jail. I was very upset for being honest and for payig the amount.
Is there any loyal officer who will look on these complaints and revert back? If this is not taken care then all you people are not bothered of anything untill you face the same situation somewhere.

Dear Sir,Today 13Jul 10,Ihad parked my TVS scooty opposite to HDFC ATM ,Parking side for the day as per BBMP,near Ramamurthy Nagar at 1215h and went to ATM.I returned after 10Mins and found my vehicle missing,when i checked from the nearby vendors,i was told that traffic police has taken it.
I immediately rushed to the Traffic police station and enquired about my vehcle from the inspector on duty, Mr R Srinivas. why my vehcle was piked up when it was parked at the appropriate place,He checked my documents and spoke very arrogantly and asked me to pay challan take the vehicle,with out even listening to me and When i refused and told him that I want to speak to his higher officer.He asked me to come at 4PM and refused to share his number.
Finally when i insisted to meet his superior officer and told him that i am an EX Serviceman and i have to go to office and cannot wait till 4PM,He replied that it is your problem.Later on he obliged and released the vehcle after unnecessary arguments.
I request concerned authorities to look into this and assure us that we are not harassed for no fault o[censored]s and asked senior policemen to be friendly and reasonable.

In Bangalore, Traffic police are most corrupted creatures and main threat to life . It seems that they have licence to harass public and make illegal money out of it. They are not less that the local illeterate gundas who behave very roughly irrespective of your profile and how gentle and sober you are. I understand everybody wants money for living, but these creatures can go to any extent for money, simply hurting you and spoiling your whole day. It is my experience . Below is my bitter experience :
I had to meet my distance relatives in Bangalore railway station who had to board the train at 8 P.M., waiting at the railway station. It was around 5 pm, me and my wife, instead of taking bus, decided to go by my bike, although I was not aware of the route to Bangalore city railway station.By asking people, taking so many wrong routes, harassed by light shower and heavy traffic, we finally reached majestic bus stand at around 7.30 PM. There also, to go inside the railway station campus, i took wrong route and again U trun and finally came the adjacent road to the railway station. It was almost dark, and not knowing what entrance to take to go into railway station, I entered one entrance which was completely dark. After going towards railway station, I didn't find any place to park my bike, so i went to the traffic poplice standing near by and asked where I can park bike? That person showed politely showed the place where I can park, but sudeenly another two traffic persons came and told u have broken the rule, u have enetered to no netry zone . The entrance is so dark, nobody can ready if it is a "No Entry" zone and I am not sure if it is written or not. They asked my to show the driving licence. I showed my driving licence and RC book, . He took my driving licence and then they asked me for pollution check and insurnace documents which I had not taken that day unfortunately. Then they demanded me a fine of Rs 700/- without caring my emergency and my situation. I tried to convince them that I have no enough money right at that time and triend to tell them about my urgency and situation . Instead of caring for those, they started scolding me in some local languages and asked me to leave the bike and go, finish up ur work and come again, otherwise collect my driving licence from police station. After my repeated request to leave me as I had to meet relatives, he asked me to pay an amount of 400 rupees, so that they leave me. Finally I had to pay 200 /- and my day was spoiled.
I found, many people like me have been captured and harrassed by them . Since entrance is dark, and they have made this as very good source of income.I think they intentionally they made the entarnce dark so that they can earn a lot of money out of it. I request that some one should take care of this and save innoscent people from those criminals. It is an everyday affair there and I don't know how many poeple like my are falling prey to those daemons everyday.

It was almost dark, and not knowing what entrance to take to go into railway station, I entered one entrance which was completely dark. After going towards railway station, I didn't find any place to park my bike, so i went to the traffic poplice standing near by and asked where I can park bike? That person showed politely showed the place where I can park, but sudeenly another two traffic persons came and told u have broken the rule, u have enetered to no netry zone . The entrance is so dark, nobody can ready if it is a "No Entry" zone and I am not sure if it is written or not. They asked my to show the driving licence. I showed my driving licence and RC book, . He took my driving licence and then they asked me for pollution check and insurnace documents which I had not taken that day unfortunately. Then they demanded me a fine of Rs 700/- without caring my emergency and my situation. I tried to convince them that I have no enough money right at that time and triend to tell them about my urgency and situation . Instead of caring for those, they started scolding me in some local languages and asked me to leave the bike and go, finish up ur work and come again, otherwise collect my driving licence from police station. After my repeated request to leave me as I had to meet relatives, he asked me to pay an amount of 400 rupees, so that they leave me. Finally I had to pay 200 /- and my day was spoiled.
I found, many people like me have been captured and harrassed by them . Since entrance is dark, and they have made this as very good source of income.I think they intentionally they made the entarnce dark so that they can earn a lot of money out of it. I request that some one should take care of this and save innoscent people from those criminals. It is an everyday affair there and I don't know how many poeple like my are falling prey to those daemons everyday.

Take any forum, one see complaints, complaints only against police department. I am a long time resident of Bangalore and had a chance to interact with Bangalore Police regarding my complaint. Needless to say because of the various opinions expressed in different forums against Police, I approached with a sense of low expectation. While continuously interacting with them for nearly one month, I must say that I have not only gathered a huge sympathy for the Police Department I have reserved a lot of praise for them. While interacting with nearly 3 police stations, I have found that the Circle Inspectors are not only highly pressurised in their job but are expected to do their job which are mostly thankless. While treating my complaint, they have shown utmost sensitivity and care and if at all they are slow to react, it is because of the various factors which affect their execution of jobs viz., some crooked lawyers, politicians who tie their hands wherever the police are executing their jobs with a sense of pride.
Today, I must say that If a policeman complains about his thankless job it is totally true.

Dear Sir,I brought a new LG mobile (RD3540) on 10th may 2011 evening from e junction, A-9X/3(S), kolyani, nadia, 741235, ph. No [protected],[protected]. Bill No- 1112 & VAT R. C. No. [protected]. Same day night I see a problem in this mobile. Mobile sow Insert Card in Charging time. Next day evening I complaints the mobile shop but no result. Again I go to shop on 14/05 2011 evening but same result.

Just had a wonderful bad experience with cops today while on the way back home. There were 2 Cops on ring road near Kanakapura road to stop me & check my license & RC at around 11:30pm. When they asked for Insurance, i had to just ask back if a non traffi...c Cop can check for the Insurance. With that, these guys opened a filthy foul & asked to get in to their jeap which by then had arrived at the spot. I did get into the jeap to see how bad it can get to a tax payer & to a citizen who brings foreign currency in to this country. I was insisting on a notice that i can attend in court for not having the insurance. After an added hailstorm of dirty filth by a higher police officer (from JP Nagar Police station) who was sitting in jeap, i was asked to leave with my Vehicle RC book back in my hand. All i felt at the end was that it makes sense to leave this country & find a better place for living. No hope for this country even if 100 Anna Hazares are born.

One of my relative have a land of 3 acres near to Kathriguppe (Off - Banashankaari).. the land was granted by the Govt of Karanataka 4 to 5 decade of years ago and now few anti social elements (Rowdies) and other politically influenced localites who have a good connect with the BBMP and Local police have created some fake documents with pseudo signatures in a Women's name and have a registered the property in her name with the support of BBMP people and taking the support of few politicians.
Fortunately we are still owning the land position from decades and we were surprised to see a women coming with a gang of people and said she has bought the property on Nov 15, 2011. The absolute owners are very poor and do not have any support in any ways (like Finance, No Key connects with Right Police Authorities) to fight for their property...
Now the Anti element gang of people and the women is asking for Peacefull settlement for which their team needs 40% of the property value, else they are warning to kill the entire family.. Also the local police is not pro-active and are in favor of the police and all are calling for a settlement talk... These people have all fake documents which were created in over nights and are registered by bribes, else how could they give the sudden surprise all of sudden..
I have suggested my relatives to send a notice from the court but they are financially not sound and I managed to pay the Lawyer fee somehow... Could someone help the poor people and combat the anti social elements in the society... If the respective authority doesn't take this case seriously, then these people may even commit suicide and I seriously balme the Law and Order being responsible for the same. Pleading the Bangalore Police commissioner to act pro-actively and justify the case with relevant actions against Rowdies and Politicians.
Please do curb it from the roots, else it will be the same for others tomorrow, ., PUT yourself in their Position... I strongly believe Mr. Shankar Bidari and Mr. Jyoti Prakash Mirji will help these poor family to get the justice... PLease SAVE the Innocent Citizens..

I was standing with my friends a duty cop comes to us & asked our name we told him. then he asked us in volger language what you people are doing here & sudenly when we reacted for that volger word he attacked us.
We are helpless on the time when a police man doing some wrong attitudes to public. it wont seems a we are leaving here under contitution. again we are in gulami life.
I think it hurts a lot as a civilion we dont have rights to stand some were & speak to our known persons.

Also hit me again. His vehicle number is either KA04HK2894 or KA04AK2894. how to get justice ? can't we do any thing ?
Public told us to keep quiet and move. one of the girl sitting behind this guy came to me and requested me to stop arguing and continue as he has undergone appendicitis operation today.
I guess, As we don't know/ can't bring them to court any one from the public; giving a complaint will not help us.

hi guys i had a bad incident with a police officer named nanjaiah (nt familiar with the spelling) i had been to a nearby store near my place and while returning back home police were checking (khakis) nd catching some people among them i was one of the victim ... he askd for my documents and i gave to it him and the bike is in my moms name and i dont yet hav my licence since i recently turned 18 this month!! he stopped me and askd for my documents i gave it to him and he askd whr u stay nd all that i did not know my houz address properly and so he was like this is a stolen vehicle and was abusing me and took away my documents and askd me for the keys, i got a bit scared and i told him that i want to call my mother and then he started abusing me saying s**emagane, b**i magane ill hit you and all that and caught my sweater and took me to the opposite side ... and then i went and tried talking to him again he started abusing me with the above mentioned words and i called up my mother and i went to giv him the phone and he just pushed away my hand and the phone fell down and he again abused me ... and then my mom came to the scene and askd him y u were using all these foul languages and the bike is mine and again he started speaking all rubbish and sent me to a traffic police station and i had to pay the fine !! i was ready to pay any fine but it was local and there were a hundred people without helmets and i was in my short as my house was just next road but the fact that being such a responsible man how can he abuse a person lik tht and when v went to the traffic station my mom really started crying and tellin tht officer wat and all he spoke :( :( ... v as ordinary citizens get abused by such people :( :( now what do i do i am really hurt someone please help me !! v need more educated police officers not people who get postings through various kotas it hurts when v c govt officials who dont even hav proper education and abuse people like us without any reason :(

I am Leaving at Electronic City, Phase 2 near Adarsh Sagar Hotel. I have seen that the Localites over here are very Violent. They get into quarrels and fight with the people residing here in PGs and else who have come from North India over here for studies and Jobs. They just ill behave with us, we cant oppose, they use slang's on us, and if we just try to oppose by words they start bashing and thrashing us...as we have no family and friends here we cant oppose in their violent language. And i ask why we need to be violent just because we are North Indian and we have no body here to look after us. This is really sad in such a Cosmo Metro city to happen such an incident. Some time we really don't feel safe. i have been leaving here for 6 months and i have seen more than 10 fights where 1 or 2 north Indian guys are being bashed and thrashed up by local guys just without any cause. I happen to pay bribe to bangalore police today in Malleswaram .I was having the tea in a stall nearby area and when i started back one police tapped me from behind and asked me get inside the van . I asked the reason, he told that i will have to pay fine for smoking .I told that i never smoked and for what reason i should pay the fine . He forcibly took me inside the car and asked me to pay a bribe of Rs 200 / - and after much heated argument i landed up paying the bride .Later on they let me off the car .They even made me sign one paper which was in Kannada and i was not able to understand anything .Today it made me realize that our system is full of corrupt people.
I went to JP Nagar Police station to file a complaint agaist a merchant who took advance and neither he delivered the goods nor he returned my money (given as advance via online payment). But the police are trying to escape their responsibility by saying its a consumer court case.They have just reistered an NC case and forgot about it. I have lost my 18, 000 Rupees and if going to court is the only option what for are the police there if they cannot handle such thugs ?
Their is one karnataka traffic police constable in chikjala police station is an useless slum who does anything for money.i think he don know tat he is a public servant and they use so cheap words it shows what he and his family is
No one will do anything.This is India.Rem it.Just live your life.Any how you have to compromise.

i am a doctor once coming from mysore, a cop asked i[censored] hav cigarett in majestic bus stand i told yes then he started harrasing me & asked money, 200 rupee, i asked why?
he replied i seen u smoking in busstand. i told im a doctor i know where 2 somke & where not.
he was so rude(i think under influence of alcohol) he was about 2 manhandle me. so i gave him 100 rupees & he left me
