Better Homes And Gardens Complaints & Reviews
Excessive Shedding Blanket
I am submitting this complaint for various reasons: to help Better Homes and Gardens improve on the products they sell; to help another consumer or hopefully prevent them from purchasing this item and lastly to request a full refund. I purchased this beautiful light blue, super comfy, super soft blanket from Walmart on July 19th. My fiance was returning home from a trip that day and to make things extra special for his return i decided i would buy a completely new bed set. He LOVES the really plush, soft blankets, so I thought this would be perfect! Before putting it on the bed, I decided I would wash it. The blanket shed soooooooo badly. I was very disappointed but still wanted to see how I could salvage my fiance's welcome home surprise. I spent over 2 hours trying to pick the balls off of BOTH sides of the blanket. 3 days later my fiance decided to wash it again in hopes that it would get rid of the excessive fuzz on the blanket. Well that only made it WORSE! The fuzzies not only multiplied on both sides of the blanket, but they are EVERYWHERE! They are all over the bed sheets, sleeping pillows, throw pillows, the floor, our clothing, our hair. We even wake up with them on our faces and all over our bodies! I can understand some fuzz or shedding, but this is TOTALLY RIDICULOUS! Please let me know how i can receive a full refund or accommodation for what I believe is a defect with this product. Thank you!

I purchased a twin cotton blanket from wslmsrt bh[protected] and i am wondering what happened to quality control for what you endorse. I put the blanket inmachine as per instructions and ended up with pills, balls all over on both sides. I have always followed your recommendations in the past but no more. This was a terrible product and should be recalled, taken off the market.

I purchased a twin cotton blanket/gray code bh[protected] from walmart. I am wondering where was the quality control for this item. I have relied on the recommendation of bhg in the past but will never do it again. This item was absolutely worthless. First of all on the first wash before use it came out as a full coverage of pilly balls all over. I also followed the care instructions.

Bed sheets wearing out with hole less than one year old
I bought a set of Better Homes and Gardens King size sheets with a 300 thread count at Walmart and paid right under 50.00 and they were the worst set of sheets. They were 100% cotton and the quality became really thin and in spots they even had those annoying thread balls, but when I saw the worn out hole I couldn't believe it. I though buying a brand name like Better Homes and Gardens the quality would be much better. I don't know what the warranty is, but I have had sheets last more than eight months. I may bring in the whole set back to Walmart to see what they can do, but I was so upset because this is an extra expense I can't afford at this time.
Wanted the company to know what cheap quality they are putting their name on.
Very disappointed customer.
