Regarding refund

Hi team,
It was on 7th January 2015 that I registered for matrimonial site and I was assured by one of your executives (Prashant Sharma, mobile no.:[protected]) that if I pay Rs. 2700, I would be refunded back 600Rs. within one week but I did not get anything.He also assured of sending profiles every week but nothing was done from his end.Its almost 4 months I am chasing Mr. Prashant for the refund but he is fooling me from day one.Now since 3 months are completed I did not renew profile due to such kind of response you shown.Now the profile is deactivated.Instead of taking action fron his end he always come up with new excuses.Its not the matter of money but the trust we show on you.
Kindly take this seriously and escalate this as soon as possible as I am fed up from tgr negligence Mr. Prashant has shown.

abusive call from bharatmatrimony

I just got a call from[protected], and thereafter from [protected] some Mr FEROZ was calling, he wanted some details related to my account and registration of the profile of my daughter, which it seems were not worth sharing being very personal in nature and when i did not do, he talked very rough and finally cut the phone after calling, MOTHERCHOD.
Is this the quality they are suppose to maintain.

I got a call from[protected] at 12.19 PM on 10.07.2014, from someone called to be Mr Rajesh from BHARATMATRIMONIAL, he had promised certain things, but ultimately his advise was to not to approach the Police for this issue, his wanted to me to refrain from from any action and reminded me of my situation being an ordinary person and a father of the daughter, i should not get involved with any legal battle with them as they being a big corporate and armed with finest of the lawyers have the capacity to put me in trouble at any time.
this is the system this matrimonial site is into.
I am really afraid of their action and this is why again I am writing all these experiences here, can anyone advise me the right way to get out of this trouble, as the phone calls from Mr FEROZ are disturbing me, now he makes call from the nos which does not display at all.
These peoples have taken three payments from me and now they want more money, on phones as they never ask any money by mail.

Now another call from one Mr Harsh Yadav from cell no [protected] is received at 10.40 which lasted for 9.13 minutes, this Mr Harsh yadav ahve discarded that whatever Mr rajesh is said on 10th July, is absulately right and I should not write any thing on this compalin portal, his was also the same tune as to that of Mr Rajesh
these peoples areonly calling on my cell to disturn and threat me, they are not writing any mail, every time they call me and waste my time and peace of mind is totally ruined, I always request them to write the mail, but they only call from different cell nos and land line nos, some time from the black nos, which does not display the incoming call nos,

After a lot of tiring harassment's from the www.bharatmatrimonial.com and their other two wedding sites www.baniamatrimonial.com and www.agarwalmatrimonial.com, I have no choice to block their incoming mails and other promotional materials, as they are not giving me any relief from they complaints I have lodged as I still get the unwanted calls from different nos and my mail box is flooded with mail from them in spite of marking them as spam, but still they manage to flood my mail box as they have very advance technology which is only focused on extorting the money from the registered members.
Through this update I would like to draw the attention of these companies that now I have applied filters to all their mails and I hope I may be saved from the bombardment of their mails
but my horrible experience with this company is a life time terror and I would advise peoples to think twice before they are get into the hands of this mafia group and not to share the details of their siblings at all.
it seems they are not initiating any action against those peoples lead by Mr Feroz who are abusive and are involved in misguiding the peoples to extortionate the Money

I was a paid in the bharatmatrimony for 3 months as part of their auto renewal subscription they took £59.04 from my account after three months as am not interested to become a paid member I asked refund they told me refund will take 7 business days. I called them, i send the mail to the help-desk, i used their chat live service they told me they will refund the money. Nearly one month gone i didn't get my money. I...

not providing value added service by assisted matrimony
I have taken bharat matrimony's assisted matrimony service by paying Rs.19,000/- where they promised me they will be building my profile,will send 3-4
profiles per week and apart from this I can send them the profile nos. of my search which they will follow up. But to my disappointment they never build my profile and hence I was not getting any positive response. when we raised this query they said that they only edit profile and not build it....thereby they misguide people with this promise. Then again only couple of weeks in the beginning we received 3 profiles per week . we mailed them when we did not receive any profiles then they send 2-3 and so we have lost many weeks without any response. As this service is time bound of 90 days and such lethargic behaviour of this service provider and the value time wasted does not call for. And till today I have not received any mail regarding the status of the profiles which I've accepted.So is it that they don't follow up further when we have accepted the profiles and wait for our 90 days to expire, so that they can fleece further money to renew the service? Hence they have to refund my Rs.19,000/-. Please take strong action against the company so that justice may be delivered.

I got a call from manish chwla from bharat matrimony at 5:17 pm today.number is [protected] asking me that when I am planning to get married.as I was travelling I told him to call me after an hour.in turn he told me that in hindi"dus baje baad na phone kar lu".I was very much hurt by his behaviour.really all these types of matrimony are only for monry.I know he has called me for being a paid member and if someone doesnt want to be a paid member he is just abused like me.I am so hurt that m planning to remove my profile from this matrimonial.
kindly take some serious actions.

Auto renewal fraud

This is regarding the Bharatmatrimony autorenewal fraud. We have been a sincere customer of Bharatmatrimony and I am totally dissappointed about their attitude towards us. We had been looking for a girl for my brother and recently we finalised on an alliance. We dint get time to close down the account and was about to do when we noticed that they have auto renewed the account without our permission. There has been absolutely no indication on the Bharatmatrimony website about the expiry or renewal. They have adopted such a shady business practice that they just allow you to access the website as though it never expired and then backstab saying they can refund the renewal cost since you have utilised the services.
They did not request any kind of acceptance for auto renewal at the time of registering nor in any other form. All they have is a tactical fineprint saying autorenewal is on when you register with currency other than indian rupee and they slide in a Autorenewal option in the account information. You would miss it by all means unless you are lucky. All they claim is they send an email to your gmail account which again is bogus since we get loads of emails from Bharatmatrimony every day. If you're checking the website regularly, your tendency will be to ignore the mails. Moreover anything could have happened to my email account and who are they to mandate me to check it every day!!!
When called within the first day of autorenewal they say they cannot refund since we have used our services (this is about they shadily allowing us to use their services and claiming customer service) This is absolute breach of trust and misuse of the card information. I have used other matrimony services like shaadi and have never faced this problem. They are much more straightforward.
It is the customer who has to decide whether they want to renew their account or not. Atleast they should have that much integrity to ask us before taking money from our account or state that clearly in their website. Or bear minimum have the decency to refund when we call them the very next day and state very clearly that we dont need their services.

No your policy is not clear. You guys play shenanigans and biggest fraud online till todays date. You have not send any recipt for autorenwal and neither their was any disclamiar that shows up on your site stating it will be auto renewal. The big websites like eharmony.com and match.com never would do such things. They are much better then you thief. You ppl are looting hard earned money of NRIs
I agree with this complaint and it is smiliar case with mee too. I had requested to stop the auto renewal option when they auto renewed first time. However they did it second time too.
If you have faith on your website you should not have terms and conditions of auto renewal option for NRI. How you are treating NRI seperate and Indian users sperate. This shows the attidude of looting the money from customers.
Really i had very good image on you guys. Now god shake i never recommend any one to use this service. It is really paining because it is small amount no one will take action. But i am sure 9 out 10 people you are cheating in the name of auto renewal.
If you really have business strength you should market it with proper team rather looting the money.

Its another case with me too. I'd used the paid membership of worth 91 US$. Followed by which i'd never asked for any renewal as i was disappointed with the paid membership too. On 16-Apr-2013 my account shows a Debit transaction of 91 US$ again. At first place how dare(Bharatmatrimony) use my card details to debit 91 US$ with out the Holders consent. Another thing, on you website, no where can an end user see about the fishy Auto renewal thing which is definitely a CRUCIAL information for an end user & i am sure that no user would like to subscribe for auto renewal unless having used the service multiple times and given the satisfaction.
Its very much disappointing & brings a sense of insecurity to use Bharatmatrimony. Rather i'd never use it.
Today they have deducted 91 US $ and claim that its as per the terms. What if tomorrow they debit some few hundred dollars from the account and claim another TERMS.

I didn't enable auto renewal option, why its by default auto renewal is enabled? .I totally dis appoint with ur service.If its continues u will loose all ur customers.

This happened to me couple of days back. When I inquire customer care member, he says I can cancel the auto renewal and get the full amount credited (Complaint number: BM[protected] and cancellation must be done within 7 days from the date of renewal.

I agree with this complaint as the same thing happened on me. Bharatmatrimony is a fraud site. They are here for taking money from the customers. I sumbitted my bankstatement to the customer service to prove that i didn't get any refund.
I just turned off my auto renewal last week (I didn't even setup auto renewal, it was done without my consent) but still got charged today for auto renewal. This is the second time this happened to me.
The moment I turned off auto renewal, I kept getting calls from Bharat Matrimony to renew my membership, which I declined but still got charged. This is a fraudulent business - please do not subscribe.

The above message from Customer Care is not true. The renewal message they send is an offer and does not mention that the membership will be auto-renewed. And I did turn off the auto renewal 'In My Home' section but still got charged.
Auto-renewal with out customer knowledge and permission is very bad practice

Deficiency in service

I had renewed the Registration with Bharatmatrimony for my son Rahul Nair (Registration No.E 2048907) against a special package offered by Bharatmatrimony wherein for Rs.2990/- they will upgrade the registration to next level and provide 100 astromatch service. But they failed in their commitment and did not provide me with 100 astromatch service. I have been writing to Bharatmatrimony since long but everytime I get a reply that the matter is under investigation. The renewal is valid for 90 days and they have already spent about 10 days in this respect. Hence the party should standby its commitment and provide me the service that is not offered yet.
