My account was created with Bharatmatrimony on 12 Oct 2022 and on 17 Oct 2022 the account was hacked and my status was updated to a widow and the same was reported to them. However due to their internal systems structure the wrong data kept flowing to other community matrimony and i asked them to suspend my account and process me the refund. I have sent several mails and called and spoken to their grievance team many a times but even 3 months into the problem they are not processing my refund. They have actually charged me for a service i never used. They have also shown no concern for the identity theft occurred on my profile and the defamation that has caused as an approx of 1400 people has viewed my profile as a widow. The company is still not reponding to my complaint and proving me resolution

I bought a paid plan from tamilmatrimony website for Rs.5300/- but some of their important features are not working. i had raised a complaint with their customer support team but they are not responding to me. as i made the payment through online i lost the control with them. Nobody is responding properly. cant get in touch with them through offline also.
I raised this complain on 9th September and made a several follow-up calls but they are not responding properly after collecting the money from customers

I have been following this site for last few months and traced around 25+ id. eg, +[protected]H[protected], +[protected]E6528689) and many others.
Many fraud users and the Bharatmatrimony itself will create fake id's to send personal messages. This site is not at all trustworthy. Be very careful

The illusion of Bharatmatrimony and its sister site services.

If you're planning to go for premium, please think thrice.
Bharatmatrimony and its sister sites are such a terrible service.
1. 24 x 7 live support is so terrible and for every problem the solution is to send an email to [protected]@bharat.com
2. 24 x 7 live support disconnects the chat without resolving the issue and marks the chat resolved.
3. 99% of the time If you contact a 24x7 support they would either asks you to send an email to helpdesk or disconnects.
4. Settings on their website is so horrible that, in most cases you would end up not able to contact any person on the site.
5. There is no way you will know if the person has blocked you or not.
6. For everything they show an error "Member settings does not allow you to contact". )What does that even mean?.)
7. Fake profiles, so many fake profiles. And they do nothing, even after you complain to them
8. Reporting a profile on these sites are pointless, they just do not act and they do not want to delete the profiles.
9. So many sister sites and you end up seeing same profiles everywhere( DO NOT WASTE MOLNEY ON SISTER SITES).
10. Most of the time users hides their contact information (set to visible on accept) and then they do not login for months/years.
11. Bharatmatrimony would not delete such profiles to create an illusion that their website is full of legit profiles.
12. The worst part is it does not show the last login date of a profile to create an illusion that the profile are active.
13. Privacy settings would have been awesome for legit users but most of the time its being used by time-wasters who just create a profile and set the profile to contact on accept and does not login anymore. The service does not want to delete such profiles.
14. Lots of members create multiple profiles with different bio-data and the services do nothing coz they want more profiles on the site.
15. So many sister sites and you end up seeing same profiles on those sites
What is the point of paying these matrimony services that is trying to selling lies and illusion to the users?.

I got many calls to join premium service of Bharat matrimony from sales person - Chirag Shah.
He promised that I will be getting regular notifications and filter criteria can be set from your side.
But nothing worked ( I am not getting calls from the members who themselves sent interest to me ) and no body took care and now I am again getting call when my subscription is about to expire in few days.
I consider it as fake institution but want to create awareness, so that nobody comes in their trap and I am very satisfied with this kind work.
Please take strict action against these people who are fooling the common man.

3 month assisted-personalised service

Dear sir/ madam
I, prem have my sister's Angel Roopa profile (M5918017) created in Bharat Matrimony site. Have opted for 3 month assisted- personalised service on 6th January 2021, with the payment of Rs 15, 000/-. We choose this service, as we were assured for quality service with right kind of profile that matches my sister's criteria, if not the money will be refund.
Trusting this we optimistically moved forward, had Monicka ([protected]) as our relationship manager. She followed up with some profile till 10th February 2021 but nothing worked as per our criteria. We requested for suspension for a month due to lent season and emailed back to restart on 10th March. Due to Moncika falling sick and hospital admission, finally got the service re-initiated on 24th March, after which Monicka followed up with Bala's profile (M7833822) till 4th of April with an assurance that an arrangement for communication will be made. But unfortunately she falls sick, slowly Vinod ([protected]) a newly assigned relationship. After which we learnt that Bala had already declined. We were mislead till than thinking that Bala is gonna communicate. After several calls only two profile were sent on 14th April. After which I again don't get any responses on any of the profiles I had showed interest in last two months. So the outcome of the service is null, not one profile has communicated to us so far. So what more we have to look forward, as we don't see any signs of progress. So why pay and opt for such a service that has fake promises.
Finally, the assisted manager Mr. Krishna Murthy ([protected]) known for being busy in meeting 24/7 isn't available when we call neither returns back to the missed calls. Had promised to rework on the number of days but haven't received any email on this regard yet.
So now you understand why we are writing this email, we request u to cancel the service and return back the payment that was promised while take up the 3 month assisted- personalised service. Looking forward for quick and swift response.

Assistant service provider not responsible

This is our second renewal with you, our last assistant provider was Gandhimathy ( staff)her mobile:[protected], we transferred Rs22000 November 2020, we got only around 8-10 prospects but we didn’t get any assistance or proper communication from Ms.Gandhimathy, when we raised complaint to your customer care we were given complaint number BM24333021, & we have been told that we have not been allotted any assistance, but we have been talking to Ms.Gandhimathy for last 5 months, and again we have been asked to raise complaint to [protected], we can send you screen shot of payment done and our allotment of assistance service if you share your mail I’d, we are looking forward to proactive measures from your side

First of all, we have been using your matrimonial services for four years now. Recently, we took up a premium service for Rs 25, 000 based on recommendations of your sales team.
All fine till your customer relationship personal attached to our account was questioned over the slow - paced response to our queries. After some initial response, she admitted that it will be difficult to handle our issues and offered to close the service and refund the amount. Since we found that it was the better available option we agreed to it despite a reduction of Rs 3813 from the original sum of Rs 25, 000 paid. All these due to no fault o[censored]s but Bharat Matrimony.
Now the fun starts. A credit note for Rs 21, 186.44 was made vide serial no of credit note : CTNBM[protected]. on Jan 11, 2021. Today, February 10, 2021, I am yet to receive the refund despite repeated calls made to relationship personal and customer care.
Today's call made to customer care no: [protected] was the ultimate. The entire call lasted 26 minutes . I had only one question. Since you say the money due to me has been refunded can you please indicate the bank and account no. to which the refund is made. Sir, "the money has been refunded", was the refrain from the call centre personal. Due to my persistence, she was kind enough to take up the matter with the finance dept and her dept higher ups. The answer was the same. Money has been refunded to your account. But to which bank account. " Our company cannot reveal the details as we do not have it". " Since you have troubled me a lot despite giving you the same reply, I am cutting the line". So much for customer service
Since the relationship manager had asked for my bank details at the time of terminating the service, I took a copy of my bank passbook and forwarded to her. I have been checking my bank account for the last two months to no avail.
Please note that the original invoice ITNBM[protected] for Rs 25, 000 was made on December 1, 2020.
Now, please tell me what should be my next move.

You executive was behind me to take premium service so that I'll be getting new profiles for my preferences but once I have subscribed for premium service I'm able to see the same old profiles which doesn't suit my preference.
Infact before paying I asked your executive about the same but he gave fake promises saying I'll be seeing new profile which suits my preference.
And regarding this I have raised complaint on 11/09/2020 that I don't want any premium service and want my refund.( Complaint number is BM[protected]
While raising complaint your customer service team said I'll be getting call from concerned team but till date I didn't get any call .
Everyday I contact your team and they keep saying I'll be getting call shortly from the team.

disrespect towards customer and worst service of photography after payment

We booked a marriage event photography that is held on 30th november, 2019 with your telugu matrimony, begumpet, hyderabad. The event is booked on 29th june, 2019. We paid an amount of rs.1, 20, 000 out of rs.1, 54, 000. 1st preview of album was sent on 21st march, 2020. I asked for some corrections in the album templates and videos which were no where near the promised quality or standards in terms of design. Mr. Suresh contacted me and asked us to come to their office at begumpet for album corrections saying that he would provide a senior designer and would make sure that all the corrections would be accommodated before they print the albums. Yesterday i visited telugu matrimony photography office at begumpet with my daughter to help your staff with some corrections in the album, and all we received is disrespect towards the customer which made us walk out of the office feeling humiliated. While we were telling corrections to designer ms. Mounika, i received a call from mr. Suresh and he told "our staff is feeling discomfort", which is completely a misguided lie concocted by ms. Lavanya. listening to his inappropriate statement, i left that place immediately with my daughter telling mr. Suresh "then do whatever you wish to do". If helping your staff by providing the feedback to do their job best who do not deliver what they promise during the payment is inappropriate then we do not want to have any further correspondence with such a service provider who does not care about customer. If this how a customer is treated, then i would never ever recommend such a lame and pathetic organisation to anybody else.in addition we were told by ms. Lavanya that customers take whatever we provide them. Is this your service motto? To throw whatever lame half baked work your employees do out of laziness and say that we as customers should accept whatever is shoved in our face with no absolute quality or promise that you speak of while payment.
If there is anyone who felt “discomfort” during this whole one year process of working with your team is us who spent our money and energy on such an organisation which has no value for customer or their satisfaction. We felt extremely discomfortable trying multiple times to escalate the matters to get things done which were promised in first place.
Also we faced a lot of inconvenience and trouble from "ms. Lavanya" right from the beginning. She was our main point of contact and we received the worst possible treatment from her by delaying the service and when delivering we were only disappointed with whatever was provided. She was always rude and never polite to the customer and she created a mess today by making a call to mr. Suresh and misguided him. Mr. Suresh should know better than making such statements before checking with anyone else as to what was happening since he was not present in the office. It was mr. Suresh who requested us to come to your office promising us that they would accommodate the corrections and deliver what was promised to us in first place.
We tolerated your unprofessionalism to date, but will not moving forward. We came to the office as requested by mr. Suresh to help your staff with corrections by taking out time. Owing to the incompetence of your staff, we had to interfere in providing constructive feedback to the initial draft by coming to your office and collaborating with your staff for more than half-a-day. We were told that the staff was inconvenient to handle the corrections of the initial abysmal work. With my 26 year old daughter being a working professional, i absolutely do not understand the inconvenience we created. Is doing your job an inconvenience? Or are you trying to paint your incompetence as discomfort?
Me and my daughter spent more than half a day in your office trying to provide all the corrections to get the albums right, and this is just half of it. We were provided videos which were edited in the worst possible fashion with zero efforts to eliminate awkward moments or edit them. It either shows their incompetence to do their job or laziness to slap whatever they haphazardly put together on us to just get rid o[censored]s.
A wedding album or a video should remind people of the good times but all we can think of when we see the videos or the pics you provided is the hassle and the rude treatment we endured by your staff at every step of this process. It is with greatest disappointment that we walked out of your office yesterday knowing that my daughter’s wedding album was ruined because we trusted your organisation to do this job.
We are utterly disappointed with the service so far and expect below actions from you:
1. Remove lavanya from any further correspondence and provide a written apology for her unprofessional behavior.
2. Mr. Suresh will provide a written statement that their staff is incompetent to deliver what was promised and an apology for wasting our time by asking us to come down to your office and making me and my daughter feel uncomfortable with his statements.
3. The printing will not be done until we are satisfied with the output. The drafts to-date are no-where close to the samples we were presented with during the demonstration. And your staff is not willing to take suggestions either, so you come up with a plan to deliver what was promised to us in first place. not complying with the above, you will have to refund all the amount paid to-date.
Very disappointed.
"this is the worst experience we had". customers are not beggars, teach your staff how to behave with the customers first. If they cannot do their job properly please hire some capable staff who can.

If there is anyone who felt “discomfort” during this whole one year process of working with your team is us who spent our money and energy on such an organisation which has no value for customer or their satisfaction. We felt extremely discomfortable trying multiple times to escalate the matters to get things done which were promised in first place.
Also we faced a lot of inconvenience and trouble from "ms. Lavanya" right from the beginning. She was our main point of contact and we received the worst possible treatment from her by delaying the service and when delivering we were only disappointed with whatever was provided. She was always rude and never polite to the customer and she created a mess today by making a call to mr. Suresh and misguided him. Mr. Suresh should know better than making such statements before checking with anyone else as to what was happening since he was not present in the office. It was mr. Suresh who requested us to come to your office promising us that they would accommodate the corrections and deliver what was promised to us in first place.
We tolerated your unprofessionalism to date, but will not moving forward. We came to the office as requested by mr. Suresh to help your staff with corrections by taking out time. Owing to the incompetence of your staff, we had to interfere in providing constructive feedback to the initial draft by coming to your office and collaborating with your staff for more than half-a-day. We were told that the staff was inconvenient to handle the corrections of the initial abysmal work. With my 26 year old daughter being a working professional, i absolutely do not understand the inconvenience we created. Is doing your job an inconvenience? Or are you trying to paint your incompetence as discomfort?

complaining against service not given, forgery and executive named chandan

Hi,
This is regarding my premium membership which i took on 14 november 2018. The executive with whom i was in conversation is chandan. I wanted the membership in community matrimony where the executive promised me that i can take it in bharat matrimony and it will be transferred to community matrimony after 4-5 days.
I kept calling him for same thing so many times and it never got transferred to community matrimony.
Then i raised a refund request after getting frustrated and he again promised that refund will be done after some days. Again i needed to call him many times only to listen from his colleagues that he is never available as if he is prime minister abdd i should spend my lifetime to talk to him.
I had raised a compalint with id 19640638.
The customer care closed the issue saying only chandan can handle this. How ironical is this. I am raising a compalint against a person and he only will resolve it.
I understand bharat matrimony is training their executive only to call people and forge them by taking their money. I ahbe done enough calls.
Now i am raising a compalint with consumer forum about the forgery bharat matrimony has done so that no more people are forged like this.
Please keep training your executive to do false promises and earn money. I know the plan you people have, you are thinking once the premium membership time is over, i can't do anything. Nice service. Just stop faking people.

There are many fraud people on matrimony sites. Recently I have come across with a person on bharat matrimony sites his name is Aarav Smith from Manchester City o[censored]K. His contact no. Is [protected], [protected], [protected]. He tried he cheat on me with 28.5k however I skipped with God grace. Please go for background check before anything goes wrong.

This matrimonial website is worst as no action is taken against fake profiles reported i connected to a man through this website who was a paid member but had given all fake details. He had 3 different names and 4 different numbers but said he conceals his identity for privacy. I happened to see in his phone semi nude pictures of different women he might be usuing sexually promising marriage and blackmailing later with pictures. I reported the matter multiple yimes with evidences to prove his name etc on website are fake but iwas refused any action against him. Nor was he asked to give id proif to ensure its real. Wanted to protect other vulnerable women from this compulsive cheater but bharatmatrimony website promotes crime if they are getting money.

I have made payment £188.90 on 31/may/2018. I don't have permission to send interest/respond on teleugumatrimony, reddy, caste no bar site. Its asking additional payment for regional sites.

The girl named saranya natarajan initially her profile id was M4732687, she spoke to me for eight months and said we can do register marriage. and later she denied. Now the girl deleted the profile and made a new profile now her id is M6945199 now named as saranya, Now the girl is again waiting to spoil other guys life please be carefull.

The profile with g1117035 is fraud profile on site. The candidate is married and still approaching girls in india for marriage prospective. All the communications and chats are fake in reference ti marriage. The candidate is making false promises about marriage and is trying to hide this detail that he is married.

Bharatmatrimony representative are fraud and also very poor service. Customer executives have cheated on me. Tabishl had committed me wrong. They told me that you pay rs. 4800 and we would refund rs. 1000 as cash back in your account and same will written in receipt. I asked for written confirmation, immediately he replied on my email and committed for refund of 1000/-. I am regularly chasing them but they are not responding on my email or phone. Customer care and also 24x7 service are very poor.

Fraud auto renewal without authorization

I purchased $60 USD bharatmatrimony membership for 3 months in January 2017 which ends in march 2017 at the time of buying membership I specifically asked their customer service agent to make sure their is no auto renewal as I have read online on many sites bharatmatrimony is known for scamming people good hard earned money. Yet I made stupid move believing these evil peoples. Agent assured me it will not be auto charged and confirmed that it was turned off in my profile. Now in april 2017 they re-charged me again for $108 USD for 3 months without my authorization.
1. I didn't recieved any recipt via email confirming the charges otherwise i would have called them same day.
2. Auto-renewal was turned off they turned it on to charge me without my permission.
3. They never answer their phones and ask you to send email in written. I tried sending 2 email in written and was told refund wont be issues since i have used membership for two days. Which is not true because i wasn't even aware of this charge until by chance I noticed charges on my credit card statemnt.
4. Right away after getting their email stating they will not issue refund. I have deleted the profile and will never suggest this scam website comapny to anyone. Please stay away from all bharatmatrimony, Punjabimatrimony they all are run by same thief's
I had to call credit card compnay to file dispute. But bharatmatrimony will not refund my money.
Do not waste your hard earned money on these indian matrimonial site specially bharatmatrimony and its affiliations.

Paid service- overcharging and not refunding

The company is really not honoring its promises.I was approached by one execeutive of the company for renewal of my service(ID B1647853) to classic advantage. She provided me the link for classic advantage with discounts as promised. But when I made the payment of rs 4499 I was subscribed to some other package for 3 months as against 6 months that was showing. I immediately too up the matter with the lady who said sir we will refund the amount but you have to repay. I did that. But this time I was charged much more and again for a different package. I was supposed to pay 4200 but they deducted 6200. When I again contacted them they said, sir we will refund your 6200 and adjust the previous payment made. This happened on March 19, 2017. They had sent me confirmation e-mail also but till the on April 07, 2017 no such refund has happened. EVerytime I am asking them they are asking for more time. Is the the state of customer service this company offers? This is sheer cheating and should be stopped.I want my refund back.

Hi, I am here to request urgent attention on complaint number BM16549273.

I wanted to recharge my account - for “ till u marry “ account.
To get the discounts, I reached out to the executive online.
She guided me to make two payments 5800 rupees and 3200 rupees.
The payment was successful, she confirmed and my account was recharged.
After few days, the account was degraded to free membership .
Since then I have been following online with online bharatmatrimony customer care executive / chat and phone calls.
I sent by bank statements, called several times and tried to explain them .
Few of them confirmed that the payment was received and few of them just said they would escalate it to the other team.
I am receiving irresponsible messages from helpdesk team of the bharatmatrimony without giving me any clarification.
Sometimes they are saying that they never received payment, then some times they are saying that a refund of 6100 rupees have been made ( when i never made payment of 6100 rs ; i made a payment of 9000 rupees ) .
And then they are saying that they will talk to the concerned team about getting my account back to classic account .
There has been severe confusion and very very bad customer service exhibited by the bharatmtrimony.
It has caused lots of stress at my front .

Online fraud and rude behaviour towards customer

Sir after taking premium membership in bharatmatrimony site by paying 15000 rs..the assigned relationship manager "savita rajput" is not responding properly...after writing 4 emails to the company I still did not recevie any response..the site is actually doing online fraud...many of colleagues are also facing the same problem with the site

I got duped by shaadi.com so thought of trying bharatmatrimony.com but they turned out to be worse!
Basically, I registered with them and took up paid membership. I am an NRI living in Delhi for now. These found this profile 'suspicious' !!! Can you believe it ??
My profile was locked and now they are asking for passport copy. I said I am happy to take my passport to their local office and do a verification but they have refused.
I did some research and then found that these guys indulge in such fraud regularly. Their sales teams contact you only till you have paid and once paid they run away. In this particular case, they keep saying that they never block people even though I am showing them the ticket number.
Outright fraud and avoidable site. I will of course take action against their local office to get a refund since the head office is refusing to do so

I have registered bharatmatrimony 2 times. Every time before registration they will say so many thing but after you converted into paid member they don't give you any count increment for fake numbers. bharatmatrimony is full with fake profiles.
I will suggest don't purchase paid membership.

Support team is doing all kind of work to deduct you contact number counts.
I have submitted few contact number, but i didn't get any count increment for those.
They are doing because my paid members is about to finish, that's why they are not replaying any thing.
With out cross checking any details how can they said we already give 2 count for this id.
