Dear sir/ma'am,

I am a resident of fe 506 beside the site o[censored]pcoming rabindra sadan at fe 505.

Truck with iron rods comes in the middle of the night and it takes more than two hours to unload the bars creating blaring sound at night. When protested, the supervisor at the site said that they had permission from the municipality to work 24*7.

Wonder how they can ignore the fact that construction work in any residential area is not allowed after 6 pm (According to the high court order).

They also say that the trucks were not allowed in the day. There should be some solution to every problem. When we suggested that the trucks come at night, wait until morning to unload it and leave by night. But neither the builder nor the truck driver wants to waste a day.

My septuagenarian father in law (Retired as dir of planning, kmda) suffers from parkinsons. Due to the sound, he is unable to sleep and waits near the veranda and points at people at work in the night. There are 4 children below the age of 10 in the building.

Kindly find attached photo and video for reference. Sleep at night is a fundamental right, sir. Please do something.
