I would like to express my deep concern with CVMaker.com and mention the problems I encountered when I created my first CV on June 18, 2024. I'm writing this because before someone decides to use it, think carefully and don't make a hasty decision for one CV.
1. They don't advertise that the site is paid in the first place. Only after you create your CV they offer to download it for $1.95 and then the bigger costs start. These are subscription traps that lead to unexpected charges.
2. Regarding the refund, it is unnecessary to talk here, especially for unconfirmed payment from my side. They tried to charge me several times and then I get a message that my card is blocked.
3. They don't send a reminder email until the trial period is up and anyone can miss it. They also withdraw money without permission and keep card data without confirmation. Their policy is not strict about how they use bank card details.
4. There is no customer support responsibility in their services as I have not received a reply to my previous mail till date. If they answer you only with templates. They care less about what customers think.
5. The site is less user-friendly and buggy. They have low quality and outdated templates which is unprofessional. In addition, the site is difficult to navigate, has a congested interface, or the information I enter in my CV is often deleted. They lack spell checking and formatting options. Issues such as slow loading times, or issues with CV downloads can't be bottom-line.

This company Cv maker.com pretends to charge 1.7 dollars for creating a cv but a few days later they stary deducting money from your account in much bigger ampunts and they do not respond to emails. They continue to deduct every month until you eventually have to flag them at the bank

Be aware, big scam!!! I was charged with almost 400 euros eventually. I found out the hard way and they didn't even give me back the 17 euros they had charged minutes before I contacted them. They use templates to reply to the emails as they don't care at all about your concern. I had to cancel my card too but I'm not sure I'm protected still.

After I started sharing reviews, two days later I was refunded with the amount of 14 months I had paid, while they had been talking money for 22 months. I had contacted my bank and told them about this service, and possibly the bank gave me the money (not all) back. Whilst I'm not sure that's the case, as the amounts seem to was given by the cvmaker and I read another's review claiming that they give you the money back so you delete your review (and my bank couldn't do much for the transactions that made more than four months ago).

In any case, I contacted them today informing them that they didn't refund me the full amount (14 out of 22 months) and they replied with the email that's shown in the screenshot

They have a hardly visible clause of auto subscription when we use the service . They do not even send an email that credit card is being used for monthly subscription

they have debited my account for 4 months at 24.95 USD and when I write to them they said my email is not registered

When i took up strongly they cancelled subscription but refusing to refund

They have to refund 4 months 24.95 USD each month . Kindly help out

28th August they have cancelled but debited my account every month since May 2023 although no services being availed

They charged from my bank account 24.95USD for a month subscrition, eventhought i never want to subscribe them. I just make my CV and pay for it 1.95USD, and after that they are sending you email, where is written with veery small letters that if you don't cancel, we will automatically withdraw 24, 95USD from your bank account.Its a new type of robbery, they know that no one is paying attention to emails.

They charged me 19.95$ and when I tried to cancel the subscription they asked me to pay an outstanding payment of 59.85$ to cancel the subscription!...

Today around 6 pm CVmaker.com the fraudulent debited my account with $19.98 without my consent upon asking they falsely claimed that I had subscribed to it wherein I clearly remember I didn’t make any such subscription it is totally baseless I had just purchased once through this fraudsters for $2 in that process I had given my card detail since it was mandatory now and no instruction was given for subscription. they don’t refund stating our policy doesn’t support refund.

Initially, they said the service was free. I assumed after making the CV, that there would be a charge to download it, There was, $3. Cheap, no problem. I paid it, we are done. No, now they want $20 monthly. I cant cancel because I can't sign in. I change the password. It says not correct password. So I change it again. Still not correct password, and on.

I created an account on cv maker and paid $2.95 that was automatically deducted from my cc. After few days without informing me/my permission, they renewed and deducted $19 from my account whereas no services were availed as well. I only knew it upon checking my bank's monthly statement of account. This is fraud, none other websites do that. I need my money back.

I created a resume on this website and made the initial payment of about 7$ thru my credit card.

after few days I got a message from my card company saying my transaction for 19$ from CVmaker.com is declined. Thats when I got alerted that they are forcefully enrolling you for monthly membership and automatically debiting monthly charges of 19$+.

This is next level cheating. Users beware. Now I want to cancel the membership but there is no option in the site to do this.

This site should be warned and these unauthorized charges be scrapped

I got to know about CV maker website by google search.. In website they mentioned account is chargeable for less than 3$ only for making resume or one time use..I used the website to make resume and after 1 months.. Money got debited from my account without my knowledge.. I checked the account and found CV maker debited 19$ for monthly subscription.. I immediately cancelled the subscription and after I do that I got email from them stating...

Daca te inregistrezi de pe telefon, iti zice in fundul paginii, pe o culoare foarte asemanatoare cu background ul ca abonamentul va fi reinnoit automat si ca ti vor lua 89 de lei pe luna, chiar daca nu ai banii, si ramai cu datorii la ei. E facut in mod intentionat asa incat sa fraiereasca cat mai multa lume posibila. Nu va faceti cont aici!

Huge scam. They're praying that people will not see their hidden text that they will automatically charge your bank account, even if you don't have the money, ending up owing them the money(and if you don't pay they will also add another tax on top of that). It's by design this way, preying on people that are in a hurry. Don't sign up!

This company is a scam! It was unfortunate that I didn't read the fine print when my account was activated! How does the termination of an account coincide with its renewal?? I was advised that I would have access to the platform for the month paid until its terminatined, only to discover that it would be renewed on the same day! What nonsense is that. And now they won't refund me for something I explicitly stated I no longer want continued. SCAM!

Page that should help people make their CV, but hiddenly tricking deperate and broke people. Most of people who pay for stupid 2, 99$ are desperate people looking for a job, a you take advantage of people who relies and believes that page just want to help them build better future. They believe that page like this would not trick them and hiddenly draw money out of them. And the page that offers help, scams people in mean and petty way.

I have not even visited the site CVmaker.com and yet 19 USD was debited from my credit card through paypal.

I Took a service of this firm on 24 th of September 2021 trusting Google's search optimization results, and I paid the amount for service that I took through debit card .Later a week without my knowledge this website and its team did a fraud of 1540 rs .I Really want to make everyone aware not to trust the Google search results as they do not verify, pages and sites shown by it.

I just subscribed here not knowing that this will be renewed every month. They won't intimate and eventually deduct money from your saved card. This is a scam. How can you deduct money from my account without my notice ?

Cvmaker.com is a fraud website. First they ask you to subscribe by merely paying around 3$ which I did to avail the service, then nowhere on the website it was clearly mentioned that the account will get automatically renewed for a month at a cost of 19$. The amount was not at all mentioned anywhere and on 21st July to my shock instead of 3$ my account was debited of Rs. 1500 which is around 19$. I immediately cancelled the subscription and messaged them stating I need a refund as I was not mentioned that renewal will happen for a month costing me 19$. They bluntly refused the refund saying that it was clearly mentioned on the website and even an email was shared wherein I sent them a screenshot showing I didn't receive any email.

This is fraud site. Dont use it for making CV, they will take money from your card for month membership every month. If you did payment to this websit pls call your bank to stop this immediately.

I used online cv builder on 4/23/2021 for about $3. Then, I have been deducted again twice today on the 05/01/2021 without my permission/Authorization for another $19.95 + $19.95 = $39.90 within the same month. Two months payment.
This is really a fraud and scam that cvmaker.com company is doing with their customers who are willing to create their CV for career job search. Very disappointed with this service and feeling cheated. Please do not use this website at all and report as much as you can. It's my humble request.

Dont ever try to ruin your peacefulnes and safety by submitting your bank details.

They will loot our money by saying we have agreed for subscription which had been done in a very fraudster way.

First they ask our consent for trial of 2.95 USD

Then they loot monthly from our bank Account around 1600 INR saying that we agreed for subscription which obviously we won't subscribe after seeing their trial access.

Lastly they won't respond. Even if my respond, it will be so arrogant like "Do whatever you want"

They will loot all our hardearned money and will talk to us rudely. Who wants to face all this?

I didn't sleep peacefuly for last 3 days and I'm writing here to warn you with my experience

Please stay away from this website cvmaker.com, for your own safety.

Please try other geniune sites where you find lots of services.
