Ghaziabad Traffic Police Complaints & Reviews

I have not travelled to Ghaziabad on 17.04.23. But I received a challan in the evening. My car no is UP16DH1035. On detail checking the challan in the portal it was observed the image was for a two wheeler having registration no UP16DH1065. This is clear case of Wrong Challan.

I made a complaint in the portal in the very next day. But issue is not yet resolved and it is showing in the portal as Pending.

The Challan No is : ECUP2318BHN2L3

Kindly resolve the issue.

Yesterday we were travelling Delhi to Haridwaar for the Ganga Darshan with my family when we were entering for Meerut expressway in Ghaziabad that time traffic police offer had Venn stopped my car, I asked him what happened sir?? He was making the issue regarding the high security number plate front side of car, I had replied that it had been scratched by a devider when I was parking at my home and also said you can check in back side number plate it’s has been already updated with high security but he was not ready to listen any thing & also said that will you teach me?? Misbehaved with me too.
After the some arguments he said now you are ready for challan of 10k(Ten thousand) then I had left from there, after some traveling hardly-30 to 4o km, I got the massage of 10K challan,
Totally unethical practice had been done by Traffic Police offer.

Note-We also had our RC, DL, Insurance, Pollution everything with us and I request to please consider my request and way off o[censored]nnecessary challan.

Sir, I am from Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad, U.P.-201011.
In my area, in front of S.R. Computers and Luxury Car Decor, there is problem of traffic each day(except tuesday ), you can't even walk barefoot safely.
They park their customer's Vehicles on road, as it is the main road of our area, so, people face lots of problems because of these unevenly parked vehicles.

अनुरोध है कि 2 लड़के रात को गंगा पुरम क्षेत्र में अपनी गाड़ी में तेज़ आवाज़ में गाने चलते हैं शोर मचाते हैं और दारु पीके गालियां देते हैं बोलते हैं हमारा बाप दरोगा है कोई हमारे सामने आवाज नहीं निकल सकता काफी बार हम लोगो ने इनका विरोध किया लेकिन ये अपनी इन गंदी हरकतों से बाज नहीं आते इतना नाम पता तो जानकर नहीं हो पाई लेकिन इनकी गाड़ी का नंबर UP-14-AY-3258 है ये किसी बी दिन आ जाते हैं आधी रात को जिससे हम लोगों को काफी दिक्कत होती है और हमारे यहां के बच्चे पर बी इसका गलत प्रभाव पड़ता है इनके पिता है पुलिस में है लेकिन आप कृपा करके निश्चित इनके खिलाफ कार्यवाही करें ये बहुत हिंसा फेला रहे है हम आसा करते हैं कि आप इस शिकायत पर ध्यान देंगे और इसमें जो न्याय संगत सजा हो इन्हें देंगे अन्यथा हमे आगे जना पडेगा...

Today I was travelling to Gang Nahar, Masuri, Ghaziabad for the visarjan of Lord Ganesha Murti. By mistake instead of diverting from a point we went a bit ahead as we were new to the area and was blindly following GPS as our guide. When we realised that we went wrong, we found either we can take a back as it was not very far off or we have to travel around 20-25 kms ahead to return. Since it was already very late searching we took the decision to come back on same road. We are wrong here and when we found traffic police officers there, we stopped ourself which can also be seen in the cctv footage. Traffic police did not event ask us anything and directly started for the fine in cash which we denied. On which he imposed fine of NO DL. He did not ask for any DL. We both passengers had our DL all time in our purse/wallet with our other relevant documents. Later when we were returning home I was informed by my family that a fine of INR 7000 is imposed as penalty and they started asking what happened. I went to the portal to check whether this is the fine of just a small mistake. Came to know that traffic police officer took revenge of not gaining cash from us and imposed a fine of INR 7000 on us. We always follow traffic rules and that can be verified with our history. We are traveling regularly inter city and intra city and are properly educated with the rules and regulations. How can a person even think that we will drive without DL that also without verifying us. We had our RC, DL, Insurance, Pollution everything done and this person is making a common man suffer just for his selfishness. I request to please consider my request. Verify the same in reference to the cctv footage and even check all our documents.

Dear Authorities,

My challan has been cutted wrong by traffic police for vehicle no UP14CE0104, even you can see the image of the challan that car engine is started and light are also open, I have not parked car was just come out of car to check the noise coming from the car . In the meantime, the traffic officer clicked the photo and cut the challan and he has also cutted a challan for pollution, even though I do have a pollution...

Refer to the above subject, I would like to bring to your notice the incident happened with me. I was travelling officially with my client from Gujarat (Amul) to Kashipur, Uttarakhand on 3rd August, 2022 morning from Faridabad. By the time I reached the intersection area of Meerut Expressway and Moradabad Highway (maybe known as Avantika Extension) I have been stopped by two traffic cops (one a little elderly and the other one a young chap), for no valid reasons, both had their faces covered by masks (which may be because of the Covid protections) and wearing half jackets in such a manner so that their names can't be read. Now they started arguing and asked me to pay a fine of Rs 2500 because of the following reason as per the enclosed snaps. I didn't want to go into more arguments and I paid the amount to them. They have punched it in a machine where the receipt of the same got printed and I asked for a copy of the same(as I was travelling official). They not only denied to give me the copy even did not allow me to take a snap of the same. This is when I told them it will not be possible as I am travelling official and they have returned me my money. To my surprise, the same day evening I received an e-challan copy amounting to Rs 10500 of not possessing a PUC bearing a challan number UP[protected].

I would like to request you to please look into matter seriously and waive off my Challan.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Today I received an e-challan for my Car (e-challan: UP[protected].

This is just to bring into your notice that yesterday there was a lot of traffic jam near Madhopura due to the blockage of regular road (towards Noida) at petrol pump side under the flyover that's why all the vehicles were taking the turn back to other side of the road.

I was also blocked near Petrol pump so I followed the vehicles ahead my car (You can see attached images where a lot of vehicles are behind me) to take the right route, I didn't break any traffic rule nor tried to cause any inconveniences to other vehicles but still got this challan.

I would request you to look into this matter and dispose this challan.

Also, I am really sorry if knowingly or unknowingly I caused any inconveniences.

Throught this forum I would like to bring to kind notice of respective authorities that the Traffic and the grievances of common commuters have gone over head in the city of Ghaziabad. There is no parking facilities provided by the Nagar Nigam at major traffic places like Gandhi Nagar, Ghanta Ghar, Turab Nagar, Maliwara Chowk, etc. And in case of vehicle being tow away, the fine is collected double else the vehicle is not returned.
Today,[protected], my car was tow away from Maliwara chowk at 1:30 PM while I was waiting for Doctor's appointment, to Ghaziabad old bus stand and when I reached there to get my car back, agreeing to pay the fine, I was asked Rs. 200/- as fine amount. When I asked for the receipt, I was given Rs. 100/- receipt (Book No. 174, S.No. 8676) and a copy of challan mentioning Rs. 100/- collected (Challan No. 0083876). On arguing that the receipt is of Rs. 100/- only, I was told that Rs. 100 is for Crane Charge for towing for which receipt is given and another Rs. 100 is for challan.
On checking at website and other places, I found that actual fine amount is Rs. 100/- for parking at no parking zone. Then this conduct by Traffic Police personnal is harassing. I am not attaching the photos of the receipt and chalan here but it can be provided if required.
