Refunded of security deposit against an adv shoot
MR Gurubhai Thakkar (alias Mr Manish Thakkar);the MD of Gurubhai Group of Companies LTD ; and his team members (Erica Billion and Nitish) and his wife Mrs Khoosi Gurubhai Thakkar _cofounder of Perfect Women Magazine, having registered office at 101, ZA tower, versova, Andheri (W) had promised for a modelling contract with ABC international for clothing line ;for my son (Zoeb Shaikh ) since the year 2013 against which they have taken a security deposit.However till date it has not worked out. and no exact details of contract has been provided.We were in constant follow up with Ms Erica Billion, Mrs Khooshi Thakkar and Mr Nitish; regarding the refund and it was assured that latest by Feb 2017 the amount of Rs 953800.00 will be refunded . Post Feb 2017 their contact numbers are not reachable and no one is responding back on emails as well.Hence we would like to put up a complaint against Mr Thakkar and his team, We request you to kindly help us getting the money back from them.
The matter is still unresolved and he called from the no +91 [protected] asking for settlement for 3 lacs against over 9 lacs money. (Which v did not agree )It has been more than 4 years now.
27 _sep_2017 … the craziest thing happened, was after we closed the complaint coz of pressurs from their end .. Finally Mr thakkar found time and called up my husband.. Not to talk or discuss or settle the issue.. But to threaten him for worst... Wait and watch what I will do to u now in my own way.. This is what he said.. They still do not understand what v r going thru.. Holding on money and all fakes talks.. Also.. His team member Erica Billion says.. You all acting v smart... Go ahead and put all ur efforts.. Media.. Fb.. Internet etc.. Try all the means... Put all ur efforts..
We believe in our judiciary, Mr gurubhai, Mrs Khooshi Gurubhai and Erica Billion are together duping the people and cheating them .Hence request intervention in getting our money along with the interest laible on it to be refunded asap. As then we will be forced to go legally and file a case of fraud and cheating against all the 3 involved in this racket.

Hi so i see a ad in a newspaper and call this number to get more details to follow my aspiration of becoming an actress and i speak to a lady named erica and we go and have a meeting with them. The first instance itself they were like you have the talent and you can become a great actor they asked us to pay a security deposit of 120000 and made a stupid contract after which they offered me a acting role in some random # where the shoot was at home old bangalow and they paid me 4k for that and from that as well i guess they took some commission later they said i need to go to poland for a bridal shoot and we need to pay them for a makeover in the adjacent building of their yari road office they opened a salon when my mother denied to pay anymore money and demanded for the deposit made they gave us cheques after putting down the first cheque 20k was retrieved later erica called stating donât put the next cheque will inform you then remaining cheques due date was crossed and when we visited their office they even refused to let us in and threatened my dad stating kaha gayab kar denge pata bhi nai chalega and they never returned the remaining amount i am shocked there are so many people they duped but still have a office in the same place and continue to function

non refund of deposited money

We have been told for a foto shoot in different countries but since 2. Years m waiting n no response from their side its about ABC INTERNATIONAL we have all details related to it we tried to contact many times but no response from ggc Ltd Mumbai so request you to respond to resolve this issue

He has stopped responding to my messages and in the last discussion in February he was requesting for a settlement for 3 lacs to which I did not agree.

have not refunded 3 lakh rupees
Gurubhai advertising agency at versova have taken refundable deposit of 3lakh ruppes for my kid. They were suppose to give advertisement for some abc clothing for my kid. All big promise was made about shoot at bangkok and various other thing by ericka billion & mr thakker itself. At end they duped all our money. My request is whatever money is been paid by me should be refunded.

R u sure ur issue has been resolved.?? . Coz they just had a chat with us on what's app to remove the complaint.. Unless v do tht they wud neither talk abt anything nor wud meet us to resolve the issues.. However after v closed the complaint here... Now Mr thakkar had called my husband and threatened him for worst.. He doesnt want to talk anything.. Just warned my husband for putting up a complaint...
Although v had been requesting them fr a meet for the refund.. But no use..

All well tht ends well.. Thanks Mr Thakkar /Gurubhai to talk and sort out the matter and understand our side of situation and intention as well...FINALLY back on terms sorting the issues coz of communication gap and moving forward.. Appreciate the efforts put in by Mr Thakkar /Gurubhai.
This is actually a fraud company, they did the same thing with me...but very first I realized their attitude and I escape from their hand. the way they talks like you are contacted with very big platform. what they did with me,
I called them seen and add in hindustan time, they need a child actor for upcoming serial in Sony TV.
1) they ask for Audition, Rs. 5000/ paid for membership, the paper was some spa...paper also they kept only and very next day I get a call from some production and said that my daughter got selected for their serial so I need to communicate. once communicated with GGC, they said deposit money would be 35000/-, which alos paid.
2) after 7 to 8 days I received a call for shooting at one bungalow, which was looks like false.. where one director, and some junior actors were there and they paid us back 5000/- as an earn of first shooting.
3) one day later revived one more call from one organization who is selected my daughter for their add & asked me to communicate with GGC, met with them asking for deposit money of 3 lacs.
4) after a negotiation and humble request to Gurubhai he agreed to work with 2lacs, but to book the slot I need to pay atleast another 25000/- and balance amount can be paid within 7days.
5) I got doubt start to searching about GGC & Gurubhai, and realized there might be chances of fraud.. so I forgot the director name now, I collect his number and called him about the serial of Soni TV, as its suppose to show in sony TV, but it was not. the director said to talk with GGC, that director may immediately called to GGC, withing 5 mins I got a call from GGC and said you stupid dont know how to work with this industry, how dare you called our director, you immediately come to our office and collect your money, we will not give any chance to your daughter... these are the issue with the middle class people.
6) I reached their office after my office work, they scrolled lot.. and lastly asked me write a letter to withdraw my deposited money.. and within seven days my chq will be ready for their finance dept.
7) after several followup atlas they asked me to come after three months to collect the chq, and you are not allowed to eneter their office they might have CCTV, whenever you reached near to their office their bouncer security guard coming down forward your massage to office, however the day I went to collect the chq, then their security guard said sir you have to pay 5000/- in cash first to get your chq.
8) I disagree to pay said I dont have any money now you may reduce my chq amount by 5000/-I have no issue, but they said no its need to pay their cashier first prior to release my chq. I understood they earn to fraud 5000/- further.
9) after three months again I called whether any chances to get my money back, answer was its long time back and there is no chances to get my money back. actually GGC loosen money as they have deposited the full money on behalf of me and the company not refunded them.
its happen on 2012 and till date, neither they refunded money nor there was any shooting.
So its a totally fraud Company... I kept some documents as proof, and planned to go for legal action but there after I also too busy with my work and forgotten about my 60000/-.
