I booked a stay for a
Month starting on 20th July 2021 at HelloWorld 18th Main Bangalore. During the time of enquiry I had informed the sales representative that I need the accomodation for just a month and I will be exiting on 20th August 2021 and would I be charged for the whole month? He explained to me that the charges are on pro rata basis and all I needed to do was inform before 5th of August.

However when I requested for refund they said I need to pay till September 3rd 2021 even if I don’t stay there and it’s in their policy which they never explained or otherwise provided wrong information. The policy is not shared with us until we book and reside at the apartment
The support staff aren’t even responding to my emails or calls. And no clear intimation provided on when they will refund or how much would they refund

This complaint is regarding an unethical, undisclosed and not agreed payment being forcibly charged from me in addition to my agreed rent amount by the owner company of the Coliving space I am renting at.
