This company is trying to make money by charging hefty late fees from the customer even if the payment is getting delayed by single day. They are not informing customer to make the payment and only after the due date is passed even by one day, they start making repeated calls in a day and force them to pay fine (as suspension charges) of 5500 (in addition to annual charge of Rs.3900). Then they start offering you multiple life time packages (Rs 40k - 50k) if I don't want to pay fine.

The company executive is harassing us and forcing us to make payment along with late fees. We need help from this forum in order to stop this malpractice of looting customers and harassing them.

    Fraud : unprofessional and pathetic services of life cell international

    With reference to the above, i want to submit that i have registered my self with life cell vide crm no no[protected]for preservation of stem cells of our baby. At the time of registration company sales representative mr vishal goyal made so many commitments and false promises that life cell will provide best in class services and this is world`s best company. But to my utter surprise the truth is totally different. At the time of registration mr goyal handed over the stem cell preservation kit and advised us to bring this kit at hospital at the time of delivery and to call to mr gurjeet (Mr life cell representative) for timely collection of stem cell.
    On due date of delivery i. E 21.02.2019, i have made call to mr gurjeet (On mobile no [protected]) at morning 5.02 am that we are going to hospital. He attended the call and told me that he is just 25 kms away from my city and will reach within 20-25 mints and asked me when we reach hospital call him again. After reaching hospital, i had again made him a call at 6.53 am and he told that he is ready and will reach within some time. At 7.25 am i again called him and he told me he will reach on time and he also talked with attendent (Nurse) at the hospital and she also told him the delivery may happen any time between 8:00 am to 8:30 am and for collection he will reach before 8:00 am. At 7:54 am i called him twice but he could not attend the phone call. At 8:05 am i again called but again same response, he did not attend the call. At 8:14 am i had again called him and he told he is on the way will reach within 10 mints. And i again him call at 8:39 am and he again not picked the call. During all this interaction i had also called to sales representative 4 times and he also again and again confirmed that the boy is on the way and will reach on time. But all my efforts gone in vain, the baby was delivered at 8:40 am the man who suppose to collect the cells reached hospital at 9:08 am. Approx. After half an hour of the delivery of the baby. Upto my knowledge and as told by mr goyalthat the sample collection is vital part of perservation of stem cells and it should be done within 2-3 mints of the delivery so that stems cells viablitiy not to be get damaged. And mr goyal also committed that their company duly care of this aspect of the process. When mr gurjeet reached hospital and i enquired that howz sample collection could be done and again to utter surprise mr gurjeet told he has local tie up with lab attendent and he normally collects the sample on behalf of him. I got totally shocked what a pathtic services by the company whether i was enrolled for this type of services, at the time of registration mr goyal told us that their boys has specialized expertise to collect the cells so that stem cells should be preserved properly. Then how anunauthorized person could collect the sample with accuracy. There is clear cut case of fraud on the part of the company.
    1.) first how an unauthorized person was allowed by life cell to collect the baby sample. Whether mr gurjeet has any powers to appoint another person to collect the sample and i also got totally shocked that that the man who collected the sample has no such knowledge and training to collect the sample.
    2) what a pathetic services from international company life cell. When collection which is most important part of whole process was done in such a unprofessional way, than how we could believe that stems cells are preserved properly or not. And how long it will remain viable.
    3) this is clearcut fraud and deficiency of the services on the part of life cell.
    4) at the time of registration it was committed by mr goyal that there is offer of free baby screening test for which we need to send the urine sample by post. And he advised us that the sample collection kit will be provided at the time of delivery. But no such kit was provided to us.

    5) at the time of registration another commitment made by mr goyal that referal would get rs 2000/- amount as incentive and will credit the amount into account within 20-25 days. But even after lapse of 4 months of registration no such referral incentive was paid by the company. The account details already given to mr goyal.
    6) there is another false commitment by mr goyal that he will give gifts of approx. Rs 1000/- at the time of delivery of the baby, but no such gifts has been given.

    Now i also going to complaint against the company at every platform from where company claiming that they got accreditations such as american association for blood banks, fda, who, nabl, college of american pathologists (Cap), dcgi (Drug controlled general of india) and consumer court. So that other common people will not suffer like me.

      I have registered with life cell international by paying rs. 20000 and they promised me that the storage period is for lifetime of my baby. but now after 1 year i got call from the company to pay a balance amount of 45000 to continue my baby's cord blood storage. i argued with them that the sales person promised lifetime storage but they didn't accepted and they said there is no proof for the same. now i am trying to switch to some other better cord blood bank. fraud company don't trust them.

        Lifecell is a only company cheating all the clients in I India..
        I have seen their presentation .thy give so many fake details about other companies.to show that they are best ..
        I like to tell you that .the technology that life cell are using is the very bad technology when compared to others..
        ..

        List of companies are subjested.
        1.cryobanks
        2.cordlife
        3.Cryo save.


        In all aspects mentioned 3 companies are good in service and give reasonable price fr best TECHNOLOGY..
        Stem cell banking technology is very new to me too. But I would like to disagree with the above complaint. I’m 25 years old and I recently delivered a baby girl, my baby is the world to me, and I wanted to safeguard my child’s future & health in the best possible way. One of my cousins had recommended Babycell and I’m glad to say that Babycell representatives arrived at the right time during my delivery, and the procedure was quick and efficient. From my experience I can now definitely suggest Babycell to my sister who is expecting soon.

          #LifeCell experience seems as dead cells… At the time of taking the package for our child, we paid 2000 extra so as to get the flexible coverage anywhere in Delhi /NCR..As our appointed surgeon/doctor operates in both regions and finally it happened in Delhi. Date of Birth is - 23/11/14 CRM no.[protected] So, according to commitment that extra amount that we paid supposed to be returned to us immediately after the birth. Surprisingly, it's been a year and we got sheer assurances that it will return soon and nothing has happened till date, despite being many follow ups and religious efforts made by us. Trust a years’ time in attending what was agreed is completely not expected. Let me also share one more highly critical incidence; at the time of delivery it was hard to make them available at the hospital to collect the cells. I had to make many calls and follow ups. Since this service is very time centric. But anyhow, it got managed at the last moment. Though that time I didn’t realize the journey and further experience would be even worse. Seeing these service levels, making us think, what will happen when we may(god forbid) need the cells that we have stored with you, would you be able to meet it??.. I seriously doubt it would be of any use, as when the basic service and commitments are taken this lightly what will happen in that serious state. Very annoying & disappointing experience. Will anyone help and do any good against it. I need my baby’s cells back with all right & well-preserved methods with a complete money that I paid, as I would rather evaluate the provision it to port to another company then keeping it with Life cells, which is of no use.. You guys take us as nothing!! Life cell just eats money and commitments with ZERO service level and consumer handling! Anyone who is reading it, please don’t go with life cells. NOTE - there people don't respond and if so, they don't do what is committed/discussed. Even more annoying is when you land on their website, it shows that Consumer complaint section is under maintenance .(Attached screen shot) I am reachable at darpan.[protected]@gmail.com for any further query.
          In case any further information is required then do let me know. Though I have given CRN NO Date of delivery, which should suffice the purpose.

          I have tried to register my complaint many times in the past, the page says under maintenance. The initial screenshot has taken 5 days before.. Attached one more here with current date there is no change.
          See how good they are in Remarketing. I see their ads all around since I visited their website. But for attending query their pages doesn't work!


          Look at the the Top of screenshot there is ad that ask you come visit and buy stuff and alll...

            Hello,

            I have called customer care multiple times, to ask for the preservation certificate. I talked with the executive, 'Sheelam' multiple times. She always says, 'I raised the request', 'we will send you tomorrow' . But she never sent me soft copy and hard copy of my preservation certificate.


            Another executive, 'Kuntal Acharya', will never lift the phone.
            Center Head Lokanadh, doesn't feel responsible at all.

            These people are good for nothing.

            Don't understand whether these people have minimum courtesy about the customers or not.

            I really fed up with so called "Lifecell International".
            I am asking for the preservation certificate from may days.

            Till now i did not received it.

            I might have called customer care around 20 times.


            Guys Plz, DON'T go with LifeCell. After paying the amount they will not do the things.

              I have enrolled with lifecell for the preservation of stem cells of my child in the year 2014. I have paid an amount of 24990 as enrollment fee. After few days, I have paid 25000 as my 21 years annual fee for storage. I have not received any acknowledge ment amil regarding my payment of 25000. And now I am receiving reminer mails to pay the annual fee .I have contacted the Lifecell company and they are saying that if had paid the moeny, i would have got the mail acknowledgement.As I have not received any mail, my money gone missing. Isn't the company responsible for the missing money as their agent colelcted the money from me at my home? If they are not resposible for such type of scenarios, then why the hell they send their agents to colelct the money?Do not they do backgroud check?Do not they check with the agent about the moneygone missing(as he is not with the company any more) Is it not their responsibility ?they say that as the agent is not with the company and I don't have any mail acknowledgemnent regarding the payment, I have to repay. I want to file a case against tjhis company to not let any other parent to suffer like me as 25000 is not a small amount .

                Hi,

                After birth of my baby in a weeks time, the urine and blood samples were collected by Lifecell representative, but about a week after that I received blood report of some other 2 months old baby at my home address, i was surprised with poor services and carelessness shown by Lifecell in my case. I as a parent, had relied on Lifecell hoping they will take proper care of sample of my new born for next 21 years, but this initial experience puts me in doubt.

                On top of that I had raised my complain to Lifecell at "[protected]@lifecellinternational.com" from email id [protected]@gmail.com on "Sat, May 4, 2013 at 11:38 AM" and they was no response to it, then I sent a reminder on "Tue, May 7, 2013 at 2:42 PM" and still there has not been any response from Lifecell Customer Care side.

                I have mentioned these details because I have seen in some cases Lifecell even questioning the identity of person raising these complains, so my CRM number is 13000xx00xxx, and Lifecell Gurgaon representative is well aware of the issue.

                  Hi,

                  i am having a very bad experience with after sales service of Life cell international as after continous follow up of 4 months finally i got the certificates of cord and stem cells certificates and after five months i got the info that my son's urine sample was not processed for genetic testing which was covered under Duo plan and suppose to be executed as soon as they receive sample.

                  excuse which i got is they got the sample after 48 hours but dont know how that can be possible as both urine sample and cells were collected by the same paramedic person at the same time.

                  yesterday one paramedic came to my house agin for collection o[censored]rine samples but dont know agin how much time and follow up it will require to get the report of the same...

                  i have lost complete faith from lifecell as for reports if we need to follow up for 4 months dont know what they will do if by chance we need to have cells in emergency though they promise 15 days shipment across the globe but dont know whether its 15 days or 15 months as if they take 4-5 months for sending reports.

                  please think twice before enrolling urself with Lifecell.
