I joined Maac paid almost entire fees, attended classes for only 3 courses now due family issues I am not able to continue the course as it is not possible for me. I asked for refund excluding the courses the amount of courses which I attended. The representative replied with saying they don't have any refund policy over here....

Acctually i was free 6 months as I'm planning to go abroad for studies in may 2022 till then i decided to join maac and i attended my class for 10 days but now i changed my plan and I'm going to abroad for studies in January intake so for that i want my fee refunded from maac please tell I'm in trouble...

First they came at my home to took money of ₹6000 as admission fees and then when we revert our decision then they told that this Is not refundable but they non-refundable policy was not told us when they came

कैसे झूठ बोल कर एडमिशन लेना, एडवांस सीखने के नाम पर लम्बी-चौड़ी फीस लेना और पढ़ाना बेसिक तक भी नहीं और नॉन रिफंड के नाम पर स्टूडेंट्स को बदनाम कर देंगे, केस चला देंगे आदि से उसको डराना, फंसाना हरस्मेंट कराना सेक्सुअल हरस्मेंट हो तब भी इंस्टिट्यूट बदनाम ना हो जाए इसलिए सब सबूत मिटाकर स्टूडेंट्स को ही फंसाना और बदनाम करना नॉन -रिफंड फीस ऐसा है जैसे एक बार मक्खी, चूहा आदि पिंजरे में फंसा उसे परेशान करना क्यूंकि सिक्योरिटी, रजिस्ट्रेशन के नाम पर एडमिशन के समय ही 50000 रुपया तक एडवांस फीस ले ली जाती है बाद में सच्चाई इंस्टिट्यूट की जब स्टूडेंट्स को पता चलती तो वो नॉन -रिफंड फीस बता ये पैसे ना देते | इस तरह स्टूडेंट्स काफी लुटा हुआ महसूस करते और पुलिस आदि तो cognizable केस तक में कुछ नहीं करती ऐसे केस को सुनकर मजाक भी बनाती है ताकि कंप्लेंट फाइल नहीं करनी पड़ जाए उन्हें और उन्हें एक काम मिल जाए इसलिए स्टूडेंट्स को बातो से उलझा उसकी समस्या पर कोई एक्शन नहीं लेती |
इस तरह स्टूडेंट्स का नाम, समय, पैसा, करियर, मानसिक शांति सब खराब होता और पढ़ाई तो आगे कौन ही करने देता क्यूंकि हर कोई अम्बानी तो है नहीं एक जगह छोड़ा दूसरी जगह फिर लाखो की फीस दो, समय, पैसा आदि सब दो | इस तरह दिमाग में एक ही सवाल है क्या स्टूडेंट्स को ऐसी सब समय का सामना ना करना पड़े दुबारा | क्यों नहीं सरकार कड़े नियम स्टूडेंट्स की सुरक्षा हेतु बनाती ? ताकि ये इंस्टिट्यूट बुद्दू बना स्टूडेंट्स का जीवन ना खराब कर पाए | उसे सही माहौल, शिक्षा, फसिलिटी, सही मूल्य में कोर्स आदि सब दे जोकि स्टूडेंट्स का अधिकार है |

Let's start with the management. At the time of admission the counselling and accounts management team is very active for the collection of fees. They make several fake promises for gaining the admissions. After some time they don't care of the student issues, they are then only concerned with the fees and the attendance. If the taught part is not clear they barely provide the backup for that topic. At the time of pandemic too, when the lockdown was imposed several students were stuck in different places. Very few had the resources and strong connection for the online classes. On sharing the issue, the faculty gave the revert, " that's not their problem they will not provide the backup, you need to manage and continue the classes." One of my friend had not the broadband connection, he went out to his friend's house living nearby for the online as his friend owns the broadband connection and was stopped by the police in the way and was beaten up by them. But these things won't concern to our respected faculty.

2- In the starting when I joined MAAC faculty was good, supportive, they try to help in the studies, project related problem even they guide students in their practical life too. But now things are opposite. They don't listen, they don't understand. Still there are number of students who attend the class and doesn't know the meaning of topic well. On asking the topic twice, or sharing of our incapability to understand so that they could help us on those, but reply we get is our faculty is giving their best it's your fault. We hesitate to ask the topics twice because of such replies.

3- Now let's talk about Internal Management. They expect the fees on time if not paid, they don't allow to attend the classes. But on the other hand they are incapable of performing their duties. In the starting the students were promised to have pen tablet allotted within 3 months. Pen tablet was provided after 1 year. Several students have yet to receive. And many were been told to bring the paper where it was written. Within 1 year of time period many students lost their counselling paper. Even I was not informed by the counsellor that the paper is important where she explained me about the functioning of MAAC and fees structure. It was my luck that I had that paper in the file.

I had a pending referral cheque, I was informed that as soon as the 40% fees will be paid by my referential student I'll receive the cheque. Its been more than 1.2 years of his 40% fees submission, I've been asking for the cheque. Faculty informs me that next month cheque will be issued then the next month they say next month and so on then lockdown was imposed, so I did'nt asked again. I needed the money so I asked my faculty yesterday for the cheque. Today they informed me " academy khulne do pehle." You're asking for the fees, you're accepting fees, you're not allowing students to attend the class if they are incapable of submitting their fees. But what of your in-capabilities? You have number of means to take the fees, but you don't have any mean to fulfil your responsibility towards us.

4- Let's talk about studies, In the starting of the lockdown I'd not available resources. I shared my issue with my respected teacher. He informed me he can't do anything regarding this. We won't provide the backup classes.
So I left the class. Sir/Mam, we're paying 3-4 lacks for not acquiring the knowledge? Is it so hectic to help with the topic twice or thrice. I've the authority to ask the topic one time two time even the 10th time. I'm paying my fees its not you who is paying. You have to pay attention on every student not on 3-4 students. It will be more beneficial for me to go with the tutorials, I could rewind it and have my doubts cleared number of times, even if I go with the paid tutorial, it will cost me half of your fees.
If you're promoting yourself of being an institute with attached professionals and excellence management. Atleast be 30% of it.

I'm not able to find the link to attach the call recordings of our conversation we had on sharing our issues. It's not only me, there are number of students who are facing these issues. They hesitate to tell, and I don't. If any higher authority is watching over my complaint, call the students randomly, ask them if they are facing any issue regarding the software. Is there something lacking by your hand. (whether its management, or topics). That will atleast show that you care for the services for which you're taking the amount.

MAAC told me wrong registration and admission fees, and wrong fee of DAFM course - before admission

I enrolled for the course called DAFM in December 2019 in MAAC Lucknow (Aliganj branch). Before my admission, I was being told the wrong registration and admission fees. The correct registration fees is Rs. 10, 006/-, and the correct admission fees is Rs. 22, 920/-. This i came to know by the payment records sent to me by MAAC...

I am a student of DAFM course in MAAC Lucknow (Aliganj).
This is a complaint against the immature and incompetent management of MAAC. I request MAAC to schedule my sketching classes under any faculty other than the current sketching faculty.

I requested Akanksha Pandey (MAAC Lucknow Coordinator) to change my faculty for sketching classes, but she openly refused to do so. Some background is as follows. I discontinued the sketching classes of the current sketching faculty right after his first class because of the following reasons:

1. I came late for my sketching class in MAAC because I had my exam in college. However, when I entered my class in maac, the sketching faculty got hyper-aggressive and heavily grilled me for coming late, without even asking me why I was late. Should I miss my college exam just because of some sketching class?

2. The sketching faculty showed me some image of naked girl, which really upset me. That was absolutely not required. I understand that some knowledge of human anatomy is needed for sketching characters, but my question is this: Does that justify using ANY kind of images?

3. This immature sketching faculty suggested me that I should OPEN my eyes in front of a LIVE naked girl. WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE???? This is highly disrespectful and obnoxious.

4. I asked this sketching faculty if he will make a sketch of a LIVE naked girl present right in front of him. And that shameless sketching faculty answered YES.

5. This ultra-brainwashed sketching faculty challenged my dharma and religion. HOW DARE HE DO THAT??????????? WHAT THE HELL DOES HE THINK OF HIMSELF??????? This is offensive. It is because of this nudity-nonsense that the entire society is suffering. The sketching faculty told me something like, “Tumhaaraa dharma aankhen band karnaa sikhaataa hai. Aankhen kholnaa seekho”. Shame on this so-called faculty for saying so. I would like to educate this ignorant sketching faculty that every lady other than your wife has to be treated like a mother. And obviously one cannot and should not see his mother naked.

6. If this shameless sketching faculty is so fond of sketching nudity, then why does he not make his own nude sketch and circulate all over Internet?????????? Afterall, it is just human anatomy, isn’t it??????

Now let me describe the pathetic management of MAAC:

1. When I wrote about this to MAAC, then I got a reply from the Academic Head Prabhat Ranjan as “Look at a naked girl as Human Anatomy”. SHAME ON MAAC. Is MAAC trying to tell me that I cannot learn any sketching without sketching nipples and vagina of a girl? WHAT A SHAME.

2. I requested Akanksha Pandey to schedule my sketching classes under Kanpur sketching faculty’s online batch. During this corona pandemic we are all having online classes. Lucknow MAAC faculties told me that they are also taking classes of Kanpur batch. So it is very much possible that I can be included in the batch under Kanpur faculty. However, Akanksha Pandey told me that it is not possible to schedule my sketching classes under Kanpur faculty. Is she telling me lies? Why is it not possible for me to join online sketching class under Kanpur faculty, sitting at my home?

3. Then I made another request. MAAC Lucknow has two sketching faculties. I requested Madam Akanksha Pandey to schedule my sketching classes under another faculty. I also told her that the other sketching faculty has personally told me that he has no problem taking my sketching classes in his next batch after one month. BUT Akanksha Pandey openly denied even that request. What kind of management is this, which does not provide even this much option to a student? What is the problem in scheduling my sketching classes under the second sketching faculty, that too when he himself has no problem with that?

4. The worst part is that when exposed, the MAAC management becomes defensive and tries their level best to cover-up their mis-managament and incompetence. I have been writing hundreds of mails, messages and phone calls to Akanksha Pandey (MAAC Lucknow Coordinator) and Arpit Agarwal (MAAC Zonal Manager), but they have been simply playing around with me. They keep telling me different-different stories at different times, wasting so much of my time, and then finally they tell me that nothing can be done. WHAT A SHAME. They just keep playing their usual delay tactics, and after delaying an issue for months, they finally do absolutely nothing.

5. What is even worse is that Akanksha Pandey told me that “Osho, the problem is with you. There is no problem with MAAC.” So basically, Akanksha Pandey is living in an imaginary world where MAAC is heaven for her . . . . where MAAC has no faults at all. She deliberately wants to cover-up the pathetic condition of MAAC, where students openly play dirty vulgar songs in their mobiles, sitting in the MAAC computer Labs. Even for simple things like getting their payment receipt, students have to do hundreds of follow-ups for around one month. Akanksha Pandey started flaunting her age to be 32 years, and wrote to me, “We know about our Faculties better than you”. The very fact that Akanksha Pandey gave personal attacks to me, instead of addressing the issue at hand, itself is a proof that she is an inexperienced, unprofessional, and incompetent management authority. She is supporting a brainwashed sketching faculty who is ready to sketch a LIVE naked girl, who tried to teach me to OPEN my eyes in front of a LIVE naked girl. SHAME.

6. Akanksha Pandey told me to “behave like a student”. So this is her pathetic logic. The sketching faculty grossly misbehaved and disrespected me, and I am suppose to “behave like a student”. The faculty is shamelessly teaching vulgarity and obscenity to his students, and I am suppose to “behave like a student”. MAAC looted my Rs.11, 074/- (i have discussed this in another consumer complaint in detail), and I am suppose to “behave like a student”. WOW!! WHAT A LOGIC!!

I request MAAC to schedule my sketching classes under any faculty other than the current sketching faculty.

Hello sir/maam,

Maac lucknow took 14000 rs in the name of seat booking and told me that the final amount to be paid is 3, 12, 000 afterwards.

They told me that they would not start the classes, and after one month i'll have to start paying fees in installments.

They did not start any class, now i want my 14000 back, to which they said it will be refundable only if i sign a document after visting...

When i get admission that tell me you can transfer your course anytime but not over intercity. Now i went transfer my course maac gt jaipur to banglore.

Then i call to manager of maac gt jaipur his told me to transfer your course after complete 75% and cut my call

I think this time it is necessary to complain against these peoples maac the biggest fraud ever and there center's are just hell they always commit that they will provide 100 %job but more of the students leaves there center because they make the situation worst they also make fake promise to the parents that they will give certificates but here after completing course they not provide any certificates

I am a student of MAAC Rashbihari kolkata. I want to inform you that i want to transfer my center from rashbihari to MAAC chowranghee. But before my admission i have told to sir i want to take admission in chowranghee. But he told me that you can admit here then he will transfer me to chowranghee but now he is not transferring me to MAAC chowranghee.

when i joined MAAC for web and graphic designing course in kolkata near park street, i cleared them in the very begining that i will b having my ssc exam and therefore they told me that they would give me few days leave only if i mail them alk d doccuments which would prove that i have exam. according to which i mailed them my admit card and every detail. aftr that when i went back to continue clases they never provided me d classes and tried to force me to continue classes without basics of photoshop. when they didnt understand my problem that without basics how could any one proceed in photoshop they yelled at me and asked me ti leave the institute. when i asked them to meet the director they rudely told me to get out of the institute. after this i mailed every incident to mumbai HO as well as i mailed all documents like fee receipt and every mail which i've sent maac. when i got no response i have filed a case against MAAC, fraud institute.

my name is mohit goyal from gurgaon.i am student of maac(Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics).my course duration is 27 month.now it has done 29 month, still above 1 year my course left, and there is no faculty fer teach, my total fee is 210, 000.i have paid my allmost fee.and before 1 month ago i asked for my transfer, still there is no response..

We are an animation Training institute, Sulekha.com sales employee have approached us for taking their most preferred partner membership PMP for listing our training institute in the top list on their website for 1 Year. They said that its 30,000/- rs for this listing for 1yr , but they wanted to give to us for 15,000/- rs for the same one year. We have paid them 15,000/- through credit card for PMP listing for 1year.
The sales manager told that just to activate the login, they will internally keep for fake cheques of their own for another 15,000/-rs, just to activate the account for 1 yr.
After 6months the membership got expired, when we tried to contact the customer care, they are mentioning that your cheques of 15,000/- rs produced is not cleared and that's the reason the membership expired in 6months. We never have a clue which cheques is that as we never produced it to them, as we are said by the sales team of 15,000/- for 1Year.

After number of communication with them we came to know that Sulekha.com is doing a lot of illegal activities like this to cleat the customers.

Big Joke is After all these discussions, Sulekha people are again contacting to again go for a fresh membership again by paying the total amount, and agreeing that they have talked to Majeswara Reddy & Pavani and accepting they have done the cheating. But they don't want to do anything to do justice for our loss.

I want to sue Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematic. On 04/02/2012 I purchased a deal from Internet. The deal offered me 6 days of workshop in Photo-shop. I have done all the required things including filling up the forms and submitting other details. Till date the institute have not started the course. For the purpose of being in touch, I even called the institute 3 times only to find no answers regarding my query. Please help me to teach them a lesson.
