I'm an NRI, residing and working at Muscat (Oman).

I received a phone call from a lady (Meera Khan) of MpowerJobs company, from their office number, very nicely she explained that she has referred / shortlisted my Resume (Profile) and the resume is meeting with a very respectable job opening at Qatar based big Employer. She didn't inform me the Employer name, but given assurance that once I show my interest, she will process the application and share the name of the company.

Once I gave confirmation, she called me again that I need to subscribe their services for job recruitment support; and for that I need to sign a contract and I have to pay a refundable fees o[censored]SD 500.

Regarding refunding the money, she informed that they will find a job of my interest within a period of 6 months, if not then they will refund me the money (USD 500), and in case if I get a job, they will still refund the money, as they will charge the fees from the Employer.

Honestly, I found this company and their work pattern trustworthy; and decided to give a try. She forwarded all the documents (which must have been designed to appear very legal) and finally I paid USD 500 through online transfer on July 22, 2021.

Once I paid the fees, the lady has disappeared from the communication; and then they ask me to contact through an email ([protected]@mpowerjobz.com). I started receiving a weekly email from their email ID : [protected]@mpowerjobz.com, giving a job requirement of various job openings in Gulf Countries. All these job requirements were very general (and not detailed one). I immediately understood that these are not the real / actual job requirements; and are fabricated / prepared by a office person, just to make the subscriber a FOOL.

I started objecting on these requirements and expressed my serious concerns, but their responses were non-justifying. I then asked them to stop their services, and to refund my money immediately.

They (Heena Shadia) agreed to refund my money; and finally sent me details of an amount to be refunded as USD82 only (I paid USD 500). I immediately objected and not agreed with this small amount. They send me following details:

It was really shocking that such scams are happening with the help of some legal documentations, so that nobody can sue the company / persons in court.

I hope that this Consumer Complaints portal is genuine and necessary actions will be initiated soon against the fraudsters to curb such illegal activities on the name of Recruitment Services.

My earnest request to the concern officials to view this matter seriously, as such companies are not only taking advantage of thousands of job-seekers ambitions, but also spoiling the name of Indian Judiciary systems in Indian Diaspora worldwide.

I will look forward strong legal actions on this Company (and similar companies), so that no more people are victimised.

Miss. Meera Khan one of the Lady will call and discuss for the job opportunity. But all fake. They will send too many company adds they paste your email. That's all .

Be aware that you don't have to pay for applying to a job !

They ask $599 to launch a recruitment process and they want to attact people with a very high salary.

I was approached by Heena Shadia (Senior HR Manager) at mpowerjobz as a recruiting services company in Dec 2020 to find me a job in Saudi Arabia, Abi Dhabi, and Dubai. Unfortunately, no single job or even an interview is allocated and when requesting a refund of my money from Heena, she informed me I should wait 6 months for this refund.

Asking for the money for USD 250 and promised to forward the job opportunity by giving the JD not even legit that is no prove they are doing or sourcing the opportunity moreover after you made a payment all of the sudden staff who arranged for the money left the company it sound very fishy and the other personnel took your case with 'very sweet promise'

It been a month using a fake service that is no recruiter even call for the interview please don't use the scam service

MPOWERJOBZ is really not a recruiter company. Its happened to me, they only promising you sweet word from the hell. They only collecting money from you and never given you even single opportunity job interview.

I paid $850 USD and nothing refunded to me after they fail.

Firstly sweet snake lady given me promises (Meera Khan), i thought with her family name shown big heart but what i got fraud, and she taken $500 USD from me.

Secondly, another sweet sakke lady given me promises (Jesse thomas), but again i got fraud and she taken $350 USD from me.

Meera khan started contract from 27 feb 2021 and yet after 1 year i got zero job.

When i like refund, another snake lady heena shadia cut everything as she tought they are mafia. All service must be paid and she was thinking that this ## company already given me job...Hello...

Now i get my opinion that some reason indian lady (meera khan, jesse thomas, heena shadia) can't be trust as they has sweet snake mouth.

I have lots of good indian freinds including lady but above three mentioned are the worst.
