I, Ms. Priyanka Gupta was detected with a tooth extraction on March 22, 2013 by Mydentist - Powai branch by Dr. Shilpi. I undergone the procedure on Saturday 23rd March, 2013. During the procedure which was about to last for about half an hour they were unable to remove the tooth. Moreover they were so irresponsible in giving the anesthesia. I was given anesthesia like 6-7 times during the procedure. Also because they were unable to remove the tooth through normal process they started grilling the bone which might have led to a bone fracture for which diagnosis is awaited. After working for about 2 hours on the tooth by like 3-4 freshly graduated doctors they were not able to remove the tooth. The tooth was later removed easily by some doctor who had visited the clinic for some other procedure. Even that doctor told the others that what you had done is wrong. I would like the consumer court to direct Mydentist which is expanding very fast to have some regulatory procedures. The clinic is housed by inexperienced doctors which even are unable to provide a simple treatment. I would also like to ask for a compensation for the damage & trauma & pain which I had to go through.

Was your problem solved ? I also want to file the complain against Mydentist . I am also treated under unprofessional doctor. Does our complaint gets resolved over here ? Need some suggestions.

    This is my right to inform about the ridiculous service that I received from Dr. Suhasini Sukumar at MyDentist, Mazagoan branch. I had gone there for a consultation on dentures and she removed one of the tooth which was in an excellent condition and could have been saved. Secondly the dentures that got made was so shabbily done that it looked like the work of some trainee; forget about its fitting even the color matching was not done with the rest of the teeth. To make matter worse, Dr. Suhasini taunted that it is much better than the rest of my natural teeth. Just imagine a doctor insulting a patient in this unprofessional way. When I asked to rectify the mistake in the dentures made by them, she said that I will have to pay extra for that. Last but not the least they mention on their website that they give 20% discount on treatment if we use certain debit cards. Even though I had one of the cards, they refused to give a discount saying that I will get it in my next visit. I trusted MyDentist and this is the treatment I got from them. The doctors over there should be trained on technical matters, customer service and above all honesty so that the patients do not feel cheated.

    Management wont listen to you . They are the one who plan the business strategy. I think its time to uphold the consumer rights. All who have suffered from my dentist should raise a voice.
