I am was looking for a Doctorate course and UpGrad approached me on 28 March stating that they have a good course being offered by the Swiss School of Business Management (SSBM) and the degree would be offered by the University of Zagreb. They forced me to make the payment on Sunday evening as the application last date was 31 March and seats were filling quickly. They did not let me do the reference check with the school too...

I am a student in the post-graduation program in the life insurance (PGPLI) C16 batch. My online classes have been closed since Saturday on behalf of the upgrad. I have submitted all my needed documents but my loan is not approved, this reason I am requesting a refund is that and as per the refund policy, also attached below, if your loan is not approved the non-refundable amount will be refunded, I am also attaching a photo of the loan being...

I have enrolled through upgrad in mba course. Due to personal reson i could no take up the course. Even after multiple calls and emails drop the are still continuing the cource and putting pause or cancelling the program and they have started my emi. I request them to cancel my course. But they are not cancelling and telling me thay have paid the fees to college.. But they are denying to cancel the course and refund my money. Kindly help me as i am going through some financial crisis. Not able to pay the course emi anymore.

At first they delayed launching the course. Then the content that has been uploaded on the platform is not related to the Program Curriculum as advertised on the brochure available for the Certificate Course on Contract Drafting nor the subject Contract Drafting or Contract Law. They have been posting totally irrelevant content which has nothing to do with the course.

I have enquired through upgrad in mba course. Due to insufficient documents my batch not started but they have started my emi. I request them to cancel my registration. But they are not cancelling and telling me thay have paid the fees to college. My documents not complete and my admission not confirm from college. But they are denying to cancel the course and refund my money. Kindly help me as I am going through some financial crisis. Not able to pay the course emi anymore.

They asked me to pay 50000/- rs as the registration charges and asked me to take loan on the basis of a document which is not valid.
This documents was a admission offer letter, on the basis of this they asked me to pay entire fees in a week, for which i took loan.

Moreover sales team o[censored]pgrad confirmed that i comply with all pre-requisites to get admission.So i just need to complete all formal process.

So, i went ahead on the face value and trust, once i paid all they said that they can't get the admission done, so i need to file a new application on a different terms.I didn't agreed because it is not as per the terms which i agreed and moved further.
So they asked me to go for a Non degree program at a cost of degree program. Means all what they have said was false.

Later on they stopped all communications and left me as it is, then my emi started deducting of 20k per month.

As they have completely altered the terms and conditions of admission, so i can't go ahead on newer terms as this doesn't serves my purpose.
So i asked to cancel this process because they have altered everything, neither there words stands true nor there offer stands valid and that offer letter duped me with hefty loan.

When i asked them to initiate my refunds, they said that i need to pay a hefty penalty for this. I said if i after getting admissions takes step back then your claim to pay penalty is valid, but i didn't get admission, and you all have put me into this financial trap on a basis of an offer letter which is not authorised letter.
Then i initiated that process as well of paying this hefty penalty and i paid that as well, still they haven't closed my EMI.

During all these process i have already lost 82000/- rupees and it is still counting.
Moreover Upgrad team doesn't give a damn or any importance to all the sufferings that one is going through.This has adversely impacted my physical, mental health and financial condition.

Basically on an un authenticated document they asked me to pay all these hefty amount. Surprisingly they call it their process. Actually it a phishing process. Uptill now i have sent 35+ emails on this matter to Upgrad in last 3 months.
If they don't respond i will apprise PMO on all these activities.
If i can get into this trap then many 1000 guys would have already fallen into this trap, if this continues then it a big thing to action now itself.

Hi, I applied for a 6 months course on upGrad. The agent who called me gave me false information also told me that out of 10 only 2 will be selected. Give the test I scored poor marks still they gave me the seat and asked me to pay 5000 right away after seat booking. Everything went so fast then they pulled me to EMI scheme. From which I decided not to do the course. Now I'm asking for refund from the agent and upGrad but they aren't doing anything.
I want my 5000rs back because I haven't even started the course. Scam they did to take this amount for seat booking is very unproffesional from a company like this.

No response from team, creating mental disturbance, asked to enroll course and said they will offer the job in this, and now no response, fee is automatically deducted trying deactivate loan from proppelld.

I want to cancel my bsc computer science course before the course comensment but there not accepting my cancellation request even tho it is mentioned in their terms and conditions

Upgrad has been a big scam. They called and intimidated me into paying them and now that I want to withdraw my application, NOBODY is picking calls or answering emails. While enrolling, they said they would refund and cancel my EMI but they are not doing it now, causing me a lot of problems.

I have raised a ticket for my refund block amount money which is Rs 5000/- for Data science 6 months course. And they are refusing to give refund back, also It is not mentioned in the refund policy and It is refundable amount because I’ve paid the fee yesterday only i.e. 2nd March 2023, it is not even 24 hrs yet. I want my refund back please because I’m dropping the program before commencing. Also I’ve shared the image below as a proof that I’ve paid them seat registeration fee.

I enrolled myself for the MBA program after a few days. I asked them that I will not be able to continue this course, I should start with my course and before my first EMI deductions I will have the option to opt-out of the course. I confirmed this many times and got the same response. I thought I should give it a try but after attending a few sessions I did not find the course useful for me and asked them to cancel it as I was told I still have the option of doing so by their counsellor and now there are suggesting that there is no such option and I cannot cancel the loan. It is not a small amount, I am the sole earner of my family and my parents are medically not fit, I have to look after them as well. I joined this course because I thought it will help me grow professionally and if I am not able to understand the course and want to opt-out which I was told by their counsellor is a very possible reason why cant I do that.

See this is not a fair practice. I am really not in a financial position to pay and reached out to opt-out but this is not what I was expecting.

Please look into this and help me. I am tired of reaching out to so many people and not getting any response.Help me with this

Last year September I have enrolled a course named bsc computer science in iubh via upgrad. Before enrolling for that I send them my 12th certificate soft copy via WhatsApp they only seen that it has been more than 50 prcnt they havent check that I have compartment. Because of this they haven't submitted my application to the university. for this I haven't started my course but I'm paying loan amount every month .so please help me to cancel my program

I initially thought of doing this course and started enquiring about it to the educational counsellor. Please be extremely careful before doing this, as after this you will be spammed by calls from the educational counsellor, forcing you into taking the course. They will be behind you as though they need an organ from you. Now I got enrolled as I was interested in the course and what all the educational counsellor told me. Believe it or not, till date we just had 4 to 5 videos from the university mentioned in the past couple of months!

I was also informed by my counsellor that a ‘buddy’ (Yeah the number of people in this never reduce) would be there to monitor my studies, and would message me every morning when I log into Upgrad. Well it is actually a blessing if I get my so called ‘buddy’s response in 2–3 days atleast. And remember the educational counsellor I spoke about. Well they are just really really concerned until you pay up for the course. And to make you pay they involve atleast 2–3 more people to scare you. My educational counsellor is not in touch with me now. And my buddy takes 2–3 days to respond.

The content in the videos are also outdated. Also they conduct exams and don’t even discuss the solutions! So please think about it for yourself, if you want to spend such a huge amount for such a bad service.

Syllabus is also very outdated, and very less interaction with IIT people as claimed. We are not gonna be alumni or anything. that is pure bs.

Two days ago i paid for registration amount 3500 full stack developer course than today i connected with the banking person I shared my aadhar pan card 2 months bank statements and salary slip still they are not giving me admission neither refunding my money back and the big thing 2 days ago the staff was too warm and gentle while I was doing registration fee but now the staff name sophia she is soo rude don't even know how to talk the worst ever decision to choose upgrad don't go with them please they are scammers, very disgusting and poor service upgrad is providing.

Hi, I opted for the UCW MBA course on 02/12/2022 where I made an advance payment of 25000/-. Due to personal exigency I had to drop the plan and as per the 10 days refund policy before cohort commencement I gave a heads up to Rahul (Counsellor in Hyderabad)
) for a refund. I have been following from 5th Dec and he keeps saying I will call you back. And it's now been 2 days no calls. I am afraid that I might miss the 10 days and they deny with the refund. Please help!

Upgrad is proving wrong info about the fees before the admission and they are not supporting the students to coordinate with the university and their upgrad buddies are so useless every time changing their statements and their Student support in which they are assuring call back with in 2 hours is totally unpromising even after 2-3 days students are not getting any call. They are also forcing their students to take a loan from zest money. Their lectures are so useless and not covering the whole syllabus of the studies.

They have cheated on my by providing false confirmation about the courses.I wanted only digital Course but they sold DM(MICA) plus Deakin Course which is a general management course not digital Course also these two are seperate programs. They have taken 4.5 Lacs from me through Zest money for which I have now stopped my EMI's. I have given them Several mails to kindly refund my money for Deakin program as the program has not even started but they are not refunding it rather they are harrassing me. I want my full refund back with interest.

No budu help me from upgrad. my financial condection is not good, so i want discontineo this course, but no budy will responce me, i dont know what can i do. even that i will reached to my admission conuseler, i did say my all the condection . and im telling im not is good condection, amd im not paying the EMI . but no budy will responce . plz some budy help me

I applied for the course post graduate programe in Al and ML, I paid 15k for booking the seat but due to some financial issues I applied for the refund. So it's been more than two months now I applied for the refund but haven't got my refund yet.
Now I have already sent more than 30 mails to [protected]@upgrad.com but they are not willing to understand my problem and not paying back my money.
All this happened because of my admission counsellor Sarthak rajawat, I applied for the course on 11th of September and I applied for the refund on 13th of September i.e. just after 2 days, so just after applying for refund, the upgrad team told me that I would get my money back within 30 working days. After that I was trying to reach my admission counsellor Sarthak to check my update on refund but he was not responding my calls, my watsapp messages. Suddenly on 28th September he called me and said that he is going to help me on my refund process so that I could get the refund quickly. He said that he is going to cancel my refund application and he is going to do it in his own way as he had done a lot of refunds. I believed him because he was from upgrad and that was my biggest mistake. He said that he needs my permission to cancel the refund process so that he could restart again which I applied earlier and said that just respond "ok" in the mail which he sent that day, so I believed in that upgrad guy and replied as 'ok'. And after that suddenly he disappeared, he did not picked my calls after that and the refund team is showing me that mail in which I said "ok". I told them that it was your guy who misguided me in doing such things but they are not listening and now they are not willing to pay me my amount.
My financial condition is not good and that's the reason why I applied for refund but upgrad team is not understanding my problems. Can I get any help here..

I had done all the formalities, and they told to submit all the money at once or take a loan. I couldn't pay the total money so I took a loan of 2.5 lakhs through zest money which was suggested by upgrad.
They were in a hurry and did all the procesdures and then afterwards when I had problems they seldom picked up the calls. Later I decided to withdraw my application and so i contacted them, i was unaware of the policies and even the officials didn't tell me anything about it. They did all the process by taking me in a zoom call and they guided me what to do next. I had paid a total of 25 thousand to lock seat deposit and 2.5 lakhs loan Is ongoing through zest money. I contacted the upgrad finance team before the start date, they didn't help and told me to contact the counsellor who didn't pickup the call because she wasn't available and the later she replied to me She had left the company .
Later when I contacted them they told that they can't refund because the start date is over, and they said loan can't be cancelled and i have to pay full money even if i cancel the application.
I contacted the university for the same, and they said refund is given from the university side but i[censored]pgrad tells them they will give they refund and cancel the application.But upgrad is not ready to help nor support, they are asking me to continue the course .

I have joined PG in software engineering course in Upgrad which is a job guaranteed course. I joined the course in Sep 30, 2021 and I also completed my full course before April 30, 2022. But still they not even provided my Course Certificate and also I have not got any job. If I ask for my certificate also there is no response from their side. I have paid 89, 000rs as course fees. Not even providing certificate. Please help me get my money refund. Not only me there were atleast 30 students studied with me. And nobody has got any job and certificate. Upgrad is full of scam please help me get my money back.

Upgrad is full cheat educational website, they made me do the payment then they said m not eligible for a particular university still didn't refund instead of that they changed my university and after that with out notice they deduct extra 10 k than promised EMI when complaint asked for refund they refused . When I refused to continue in such manner bcz its frustrating every day in this manner to continue that time they started the worst game I didn't even got access to their portal didn't attend single class session nothing still they kept on asking for money refused to cancel my MBA plan . Also told no mattr i[censored] continue or not u have to pay the rest of the money cz ur seat is reserved . What seat r they talking about its not even a genuine degree the service that I haven't avail only they r forcing to pay for that. Shame on upgrad it was my biggest mistake to take admission its like a hell loop. Every day m getting thousands of clls since I have stopped the auto debit through my bank account. Don't go for upgrad never . I want my full refund n plus compensation for harassing me mentally and cancelation of this nonsense mba .

Upgrad team gave me admission by making some promises which proved wrong.They gave me an estimated budget of 9 lakhs for going Germany now this budget went upto 18 lakhs…Also at the time of admission they said IELTS is not required now they are asking me to prepare for IELTS. Now i just want to discontinue my studies with them and want them to stop my ZEST MONEY EMIs

I enrolled for BSc. Computer science in Upgrad. During the enrollment period they never talk about the reality of the course, they sugarcoat it. I attended one session and understood the reality of the program. It’s honestly so bad. The cost of the course for one and a half year is 4.5 lakhs. With that being the cost, only 4 classes of 2 hours are provided on weekends. The quality of the program is so bad that the video lectures in the portal is just 2-3 minutes long. Therefore I requested the cancellation of the program. And they’re not letting me do that. According to the contract I signed, the program can be cancelled within one month of commencement. I raised the request on the fifth day of commencement. I was made to take a loan from ZestMoney by upgrad. I paid one month’s EMI. Since I am not interested in the course, I don’t want to pay it anymore. But unless upgrad cancels my loan, my credit score will be ruining. I get tons of calls from ZestMoney on a daily basis. I sent numerous mails to different people in Upgrad. And there’s no relevant action taken. They’re forcing me to do the program which I’m not interested in. They’re looting young students and causing them mental agony so mercilessly. Upgrad needs to be brought in the light of the law and needs to face the consequences of their actions.

My name is Himanshu wankhede actually I bought course from upgrad actually my friend is a manager at upgrad he told me to buy course I will pay the block payment and he is also saying that if we have to cancel the course we can cancel it now no one help me out at this condition now my father met with an accident and I totally financial broken i provide all the documents to the team but no one is look at this in daily schedule that loan members call me and abusing and they are giving mentally torture i don't understand what's happening to me i thinking if i committed suicide then they will cancel my course and loan please help me with out of this problem

I have submitted a refund request to upgrade before 1 month on 09/June/2022 but till it is not solved
