Circulating wrong information about courses
Upgrad is proving wrong info about the fees before the admission and they are not supporting the students to coordinate with the university and their upgrad buddies are so useless every time changing their statements and their Student support in which they are assuring call back with in 2 hours is totally unpromising even after 2-3 days students are not getting any call. They are also forcing their students to take a loan from zest money. Their lectures are so useless and not covering the whole syllabus of the studies.

Cheating/fraud courses-refund application

They have cheated on my by providing false confirmation about the courses.I wanted only digital Course but they sold DM(MICA) plus Deakin Course which is a general management course not digital Course also these two are seperate programs. They have taken 4.5 Lacs from me through Zest money for which I have now stopped my EMI's. I have given them Several mails to kindly refund my money for Deakin program as the program has not even started but they are not refunding it rather they are harrassing me. I want my full refund back with interest.

Uprad not refunding my money
I applied for the course post graduate programe in Al and ML, I paid 15k for booking the seat but due to some financial issues I applied for the refund. So it's been more than two months now I applied for the refund but haven't got my refund yet.
Now I have already sent more than 30 mails to [protected]@upgrad.com but they are not willing to understand my problem and not paying back my money.
All this happened because of my admission counsellor Sarthak rajawat, I applied for the course on 11th of September and I applied for the refund on 13th of September i.e. just after 2 days, so just after applying for refund, the upgrad team told me that I would get my money back within 30 working days. After that I was trying to reach my admission counsellor Sarthak to check my update on refund but he was not responding my calls, my watsapp messages. Suddenly on 28th September he called me and said that he is going to help me on my refund process so that I could get the refund quickly. He said that he is going to cancel my refund application and he is going to do it in his own way as he had done a lot of refunds. I believed him because he was from upgrad and that was my biggest mistake. He said that he needs my permission to cancel the refund process so that he could restart again which I applied earlier and said that just respond "ok" in the mail which he sent that day, so I believed in that upgrad guy and replied as 'ok'. And after that suddenly he disappeared, he did not picked my calls after that and the refund team is showing me that mail in which I said "ok". I told them that it was your guy who misguided me in doing such things but they are not listening and now they are not willing to pay me my amount.

They are scamming peoples.

Later I decided to withdraw my application and so i contacted them, i was unaware of the policies and even the officials didn't tell me anything about it. They did all the process by taking me in a zoom call and they guided me what to do next. I had paid a total of 25 thousand to lock seat deposit and 2.5 lakhs loan Is ongoing through zest money. I contacted the upgrad finance team before the start date, they didn't help and told me to contact the counsellor who didn't pickup the call because she wasn't available and the later she replied to me She had left the company .

Upgrad money refund request
I have joined PG in software engineering course in Upgrad which is a job guaranteed course. I joined the course in Sep 30, 2021 and I also completed my full course before April 30, 2022. But still they not even provided my Course Certificate and also I have not got any job. If I ask for my certificate also there is no response from their side. I have paid 89, 000rs as course fees. Not even providing certificate. Please help me get my money refund. Not only me there were atleast 30 students studied with me. And nobody has got any job and certificate. Upgrad is full of scam please help me get my money back.

Loot my money harassing everyday to pay more

Upgrad is full cheat educational website, they made me do the payment then they said m not eligible for a particular university still didn't refund instead of that they changed my university and after that with out notice they deduct extra 10 k than promised EMI when complaint asked for refund they refused . When I refused to continue in such manner bcz its frustrating every day in this manner to continue that time they started the worst game I didn't even got access to their portal didn't attend single class session nothing still they kept on asking for money refused to cancel my MBA plan . Also told no mattr i[censored] continue or not u have to pay the rest of the money cz ur seat is reserved . What seat r they talking about its not even a genuine degree the service that I haven't avail only they r forcing to pay for that. Shame on upgrad it was my biggest mistake to take admission its like a hell loop. Every day m getting thousands of clls since I have stopped the auto debit through my bank account. Don't go for upgrad never . I want my full refund n plus compensation for harassing me mentally and cancelation of this nonsense mba .

Upgrad team gave me admission by making some promises which proved wrong.They gave me an estimated budget of 9 lakhs for going Germany now this budget went upto 18 lakhs…Also at the time of admission they said IELTS is not required now they are asking me to prepare for IELTS. Now i just want to discontinue my studies with them and want them to stop my ZEST MONEY EMIs

I enrolled for BSc. Computer science in Upgrad. During the enrollment period they never talk about the reality of the course, they sugarcoat it. I attended one session and understood the reality of the program. It’s honestly so bad. The cost of the course for one and a half year is 4.5 lakhs. With that being the cost, only 4 classes of 2 hours are provided on weekends. The quality of the program is so bad that the video lectures in the portal is just 2-3 minutes long. Therefore I requested the cancellation of the program. And they’re not letting me do that. According to the contract I signed, the program can be cancelled within one month of commencement. I raised the request on the fifth day of commencement. I was made to take a loan from ZestMoney by upgrad. I paid one month’s EMI. Since I am not interested in the course, I don’t want to pay it anymore. But unless upgrad cancels my loan, my credit score will be ruining. I get tons of calls from ZestMoney on a daily basis. I sent numerous mails to different people in Upgrad. And there’s no relevant action taken. They’re forcing me to do the program which I’m not interested in. They’re looting young students and causing them mental agony so mercilessly. Upgrad needs to be brought in the light of the law and needs to face the consequences of their actions.

My name is Himanshu wankhede actually I bought course from upgrad actually my friend is a manager at upgrad he told me to buy course I will pay the block payment and he is also saying that if we have to cancel the course we can cancel it now no one help me out at this condition now my father met with an accident and I totally financial broken i provide all the documents to the team but no one is look at this in daily schedule that loan members call me and abusing and they are giving mentally torture i don't understand what's happening to me i thinking if i committed suicide then they will cancel my course and loan please help me with out of this problem

Cancellation of Program
Recently took course o[censored]pgrad started somewhere around may end but due to my mother's failure of operation which took place 7 months back we had to rush hospital and went through the surgery again even after that she is not fine and her femur and knee transplant is planned for next week. This is causing me a financial hit not only this my mother is bed ridden, Iam taking care of her and working in night shift to support family. This is my condition and all this was communicated and the necessary documents were provided to upgrad.
To my shock they are not considering this as condition to provide cancellation what else they want me to suffer. I'am not seeking refund for deduction already done only want that upgrad close the rest of loan for which I will not be able to continue.

Cancellation of my course and refund of amount paid

Due to heath issues and other issue, I have requested for cancellation of my course and refund of money but it has been told to me that the same cannot be possible and you may differ the course, which I tried but unable to do so and hence requested for refund.
I met with an accident while on my bike and doctor has suggested not to seat and stress back muscle.
I have submitted my medical certificate basis which I was given an assurance that basis this certificate senior will take a call.
This is genuine issue and requested for refund as not medically and mentally fit to continue

I have chosen the Executive PG program in Data Science. i had paid 25000 as initial deposit. 30th june 2022 the course was supposed to start. i paid 25000 in the first week of June 2022. but is decided to cancel this course as i got busy with my project and i realize that i may not be able to put enough time to complete the course. i submited the refund request in the first week of june 2022. as per company policy minimum 30 days required to get the refund. but it is almost end of july 2022 and refund is not processed yet. i person called me if i chosse another program still i will getting same amount of refund which is 15000. 10000 from upgrad and 5000 that employee will pay in personal as he requested like if i dont help him he will loose his job. As a human i decided to help him because anyways i was about to get the 15000 refund which is the same amount. but now these guys are making me fool and nobody is replying my emails.

Not cancelling my admission

I took an admission to an MBA program for October intake with Upgrad for which I left my job.
During one of my exam I got 6 month suspension from University, I asked for resolution to Upgrad but didn't helped me with that. After passing 3 months I lacked with money. So asking Upgrad cancel my admission but they are not listening it and forcefully asking me to continue and pay the Fees. I was paying No Cost EMI fees to Upgrad through Zestmoney. Now Zestmoney is applying bouncing charges against me. Since 30th June I am asking Upgrad to cancel my admission without refund of paid fees still they are for cancelling it. Due to financial crisis I am not able to pay the fees they are not considering it and forcing me to continue with it and asking me to pay the fees. In name of aboard education they are trapping the people and doing this kind of fraud. Please help me this.

Hello Priyanka, similar to ur issue it happened with me too, now as per their bledy policy im suffering and I need to pay 4.8lks. Their course is pathetic . Here in this platform u won't get resolution please do see my complaints tooo, after a long time it will automatically shift to resolve state.

I am Anisha, i enrolled for MBA through @upGrad_edu after councelling session I choose emi option for payment I did my first payment and registration on 21 feb ( from my mother's account) 2022 after which they said after filling University's form my lms will be activated after 2-3 days, But for a week it did not happen and i started getting emails and calls for emi payment on 26 feb long before activation of my course I asked them to look...

Admission Token Amount Refund and loan cancellation
I applied for MS in cyber security from Yeshiva University and i applied for the loan next day i.e. 16th June 2022. And also i want to cancel my admission in the same program.
Now I want to cancel my loan which i taken from zest money. I have contacted to the zest money for cancellation of my loan and they said need a official mail from you to cancel my loan.
I taken loan of 2, 75, 000 from zest money. Also i have booked my seat by giving token amount of 25, 000.
I have also requested to my admission councellor (Anshul Arora) to process towards cancellation but not responding and not proceeding my loan application for cancellation.
Kindly need support from your end with provide me the official mail of cancellation loan.

I have also requested to my admission councellor (Anshul Arora) to process towards cancellation but not responding and not proceeding my loan application for cancellation.
Kindly need support from your end with provide me the official mail of cancellation loan.

I have registered myself for a cyber security course in the upgrade.
They will not provide written information about which date online classes start.
Now I'm going to take admission for my master's it already has this course also it's 2 years master's degree.
so right now I don't want to continue this course and I want my admission fees bake but the people are not responding to me.

Request for Urgent Refund
I was interested in a program from upgrad and registered for upGrad's PG Diploma in Full Stack Software Development program in 2020. I was in the process of paying my EMI and completed it successfully. Unfortunately, I couldn't complete the course on time due to my sickness and some personal reasons for my work during night shifts in my company.
Later after few months a sales counsellor called me and informed me about Master’s Program in Computer Science by Liverpool John Moores University in the year 2021 which is tied up with the current running course. I informed him about my future plan regards to higher studies abroad and informed him that I was not interested anymore. But he said that the course would provide me abroad opportunities and forced me to take-up the course. The course would begin once I complete my current program.
The program is not yet launched, It begins this month June 29. I have requested for refund two months ago from now. I couldn't further complete my course and also I have realised that I couldn't handle them both my work and course.
The day I was ready to take up the course I have already informed the sales guy that I would be continuing my own process for higher studies in USA, Like taking up GRE and TOFEL exams.
He said once if you get any chances he said that I could let them know about it. Likewise, I have also submitted my one of the College's admit for the reason for my refund. The program costed me more than 2 lakh. It was not a small amount and still my EMI is ongoing which is currently impacting by loan process for abroad.
I have dropped many emails and all they say was there will be no refund as per policy. I requested a call from the administrator counsellor. One of the representative from upgrad says that he would arrange a call today, by calling me everyday but there is no call since two months.
All my cases that I raise for refund keep closing all time. I lost my patience, Kindly help me with refund process. I highly appreciate your support in this matter.

Regarding refund for msba
I have paid 25000 for the course... They have not given me refund. I need my refund back. Admission councellor had blocked me. Before the course starts I need my money back. Otherwise they will say course started u can't get the money back.

I have paid 25k as fees for my course to upgrad which my counselor forced me to pay and he even said nothing will be deducted and whole refund will be given but after he said 5k will be deducted but after when i ask for refund they said 10k will be deducted it's been a month i still haven't received a single ruppe from them and i need money on urgent basis but they are not giving me my refund...

As per the refund policies o[censored]pgrad - A consumer can cancel there registration of a course and get the refund after 10000 deduction from the fee given within 30 working days.
I found there course details fake and fraud details. Even there reviews are bad. They add fake colleges and manipulate people to buy courses. I couldn’t afford to pay 7 lakhs for a course of MBA, therefore I withdrew my admission.

PGM IIM Ghaziabad
It was such a horrible decision at my end to fall for online learning platform such as upgrad in this case.
I opted for PGM from IIM Ghaziabad distance.
After a month into the programme I realised that the entire subject matter was not a good fit for me which i should have been mindful of in the first place but now that I've already made the mistake.
NOTE - you are not allowed to opt out of the emis i[censored] taking any.
You can leave the course, there wont be any refund and if you have opted for an emi you can either choose to leave the course completely or switch to any other but you will HAVE to pay the emi or the fees ( which i think is foolish ) and in my opinion a scam.
Also, please confirm your doubts with the sales agent before taking up a course because all they care anout is selling the course to you. In my case there was lack of transparency because i was not informed about the hassle incase i want to cancel the course.
Overall a very bad experience and if someone is listening i still hope to opt out of this mess completely.
