Hi, I want to report a crime originating from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh -
1. I had shared my profile details on a facebook matrimony page.
2. Using the information provided, I was contacted by xxx (fake name) from marriage wheel matrimony (https://marriagewheels.com/) over whatsapp using +91 [protected] and +91 [protected] mobile number.
3. I was shown a girls profile. Before sharing contact details, she asked Rs. 10000/-...

Respected members of consumer court. The complaint is regarding Vaivahik Matrimony, Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh.
I had seen a profile in newspaper for my brother . I contacted the given numbers and it reached this matrimonial place .Their employee Purvi sent me a profile of girl and her Pictures and she asked for my brother's biodata which i forwarded. Later she said that girl's father has expressed interest in my brother's profile. I was doubtful and i asked i want to speak to them .She made conference calls, with the said mother and my father and the family sounded extremely willing ready to meet and also the profile seemed to be really attractive. She asked me to pay ₹7000 for revealing the contact information of family. She told me to pay through gpay and she sent QR code. After that I deposited money through gpay and sent her screen shot account name shown was linked to Vaivahik Matrimony as banking name .After which she provided the number and later I found out that the contact provided was a bogus. There were so many red alerts about family. I spoke to them who pretended to be family member had the same voice as the marriage bureau people n they cooked up some story regarding that. I immediately called purvi and asked her to refund my money. She said the contact is genuine. I told her to prove that kindly send the screenshots where u have talked to family or the Facebook insta profiles as i cannot find them anywhere. And soon after that someone else posing as family member called me and told me to set up a meeting. Later that night i told them to send more family pictures and fb insta profiles. I got 2 3 pics which did not seemed related to each other. My father spoke to them later the same day and asked them to send location and an alternative phone number. They stopped picking up my calls/messages.and number of family is unavailable.It's a cheating firm. Kindly take some action against them. Later i searched and found other complaints against them. They should be shut and punished. Why are they being allowed to play with emotions of others and this is clearly mental harrasment. These incidents with their firm are happening again n again. I want you to help me get my money back. Also i have all the necessary evidence against them.

First they send suitable profiles. Then demand money for conference call with family. Provide contact no of family and fix meeting. Just one or two day before meeting they call and tell about the death of some relative and ask for postponement of meeting. After this they stop picking calls

This is to inform the competent authorities and for the General awareness of public thst one lady so called Ritika from VivahikMatrimony, Jabalpur (MP), as she might have picked my number from facebook, offered me good match for my sonand asked me to send profile of my son. After seeing our profile, they made a bogus very attractive profile so one cannot deny after seeing such a suitable match, also sent attractive pics of girl to trap us. After sometime she again called and told thst girls father expressed interest in my sons profile, also made a conference call with so called girls father, actually he was their own agent, just to trap us. After that they demanded 6500 for sharing contact numbers on QR code given by them. Accordingly I deposited money, then she given me number of so called girls father (Agent) [protected]. Immediately I recd a call from so called girls father asking my sons Tewa details, just to close the case by saying mismatch of Tewas. When I searched about them online, there are several complaints made by earlier victims trapped in the same way. When I asked them about this, they started sending me more bogus profiles just to justify themselves. I just want to inform public thst this is purely a fake firm. I request competent authorities what-so-ever to take suitable action against them to save the innocent people to get red of their trap

Lady from this company contacted us ref proposal for my brother in the UK. She would not talk to anyone in the UK about the potential proposal only wanted to speak to family member in India which is strange? She said she could arrange phone call with girls family in india but then would require a fee of 6500 rupees to give contact details

I’m based in the UK and tried to speak with her on behalf of my brother via WhatsApp call but she said she has bad signal and could not take the call yet she was messaging me via WhatsApp and sending recorded voice notes ! She couldn’t even message in English yet she works for a worldwide matrimonial agency?

Very strange dealings with this lady from VM, I think her name was Sakshi. I have no confidence she was telling the truth but do believe she was trying to scam us for money

I sent her link to bad reviews of VM and she dismissed them !

I was looking for a bride for my son and i have been contacted by a girl named Ritika from vaivahik matrimonial. She mentioned that a girl’s parents had shared interest in my son profile and are eager to fix a meeting with you. She said that once you will transfer the fee of Rs.6500/- to our canara bank account no. she will share the contact no. Of the girl’s family. We had paid the complete Rs.6500/- fee to their Canara bank account no. On 19-Apr-22 and she shared some no. And we are keep on trying to contact the girl’s family and they are not even responding completely. They are fruadly just keep on calling each other about the details and taking advantage of innocent people. The family is not even taking any interest and the Vaivahik matrimonial girl ritika keep on sharing more fraud profiles to me without any consent and some fake families are still calling me for another rishta of their girl and sharing the fakes pictures again. They are just trying to protect themselfs by sending some more stupid and fraud biodatas of the girls. They are just fooling us by saying that the girls parent are busy in some marraige which is purely a false statement. We just want my son’s profile been removed from this fake company and want my refund.

They took money and provided me false information of girls family and giving us wrong information which is against the law of conduct .

They were calling me and my mother 20 times a day asking me to pay the money and as soon as i paid the money, they just disappeared. I was told as soon as the payment was made I would be receiving a receipt as well as profiles of potential matches. Now they have totally disappeared. I never received the receipt nor any profiles.
I have been trying to call and message on the numbers we communicated before but no response.
TOTAL FRAUD COMPANY. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I SEE SO MANY OTHERS MAKING THIS SAME COMPLAINT FOR THE SAME COMPANY

They sent me a profile stating that girl's father has expressed interest in my son's profile. She made conference calls, with him and me and after that she asked me to pay ₹6, 500 for revealing the contact information of him. With two options given, account transfer to their ICICI bank account or UPI on QR. After that I deposited into showing her QR code, account name shown was linked to Vaivahik Matrimony as banking name. I deposited the money. After which she provided the number and later I found out that the contact provided was a bogus. They stopped picking up my calls/messages. Now to be on the safer side she keep on sending few profiles without my consent. She only pick the call one out of ten attempts. They used to send profile really good which one could not deny, and that was the trap. It's a cheating firm. Now I pressurised them for a refund, they have stopped responding. Kindly take some action so that they with this firm name will not able to play with the emotions of innocents. I have necessary evidence in this regards.
