not returning our money

Hi,
I had paid wefixit (house painting services) for our house painting. They had collected an advance amont of Rs 10700 on Aug 14th assuring for our house to be whitewashed on Sep 6th, however, nobody turned up. Their numbers are also not reachable. On contacting the director of the company, Rajiv Ranjan, we were told that the noida office has been shut down due to labour strike and we will get our money back before 20th sep' 2011, however, the amount has not been received. He is daily promising to credit the amount by evening but nothing happens and the same committment is given the next day.
Kindly help me get my money back from them.

I too am trying to chase their Gurgaon office for refund of advance money given to them in April 2011 for small leakage job in Nirvana - which due to some reason or the other was never started. Now I am chasing them to return my advance of Rs 2500 but either the person is not available /phone is busy on another call / does not take calls.
I think a strong word should be spread that these people are not trustworthy and should not be given such jobs for which they claim to be professionals but behave in very unprofessional manner.
All their local supervisors I had been touch with have left the company and gone... Can someone help in this please???

Wefixit - company started by a smart individuals, With different idea and huge setup.
But none of his employees are capable or competent to handle any such job.
They have an amazing marketing
team, the person will reach you within 24 hours, Will give you free estimate, and will promise you various things. But None of them will be taken care of.
Once you pay them the advance the whole team vanishes. They started the work of 1300 sq feet and ended it in 15 working days. (Which could be done within 3 days by local vendor) thats too when you have started this work with delay of 20 day(from the date of commitment) You have to stand day night on thier head. they claim berger paints - but use all local paints, they use all local tapes, They dont cover your room. and may destroy whatever left. And the final output is so bad that i have to get it done whole work all again by some local contractor.
Its firmly recommended to get it done from any local Vendor. Even if local vedor charges more. He may give you the result. But Wefixit Team can NEVER give you satisfied result.
Have invested this time to write this review so that i can save you from the trouble I had, facing this team.

I have read your comments many where n got that you are upset with all consumer services as u hv putted ur complaints for Airtel, Samsung, LG, Dabur n many more.Please go for a holiday to fresh ur mood.

Non payment of refund

I had requested for services from WEFIXIT, a company that is supposed to deal with seepage. One Mr. Ashwini Sood collected Rs. 2000 in cash as advance for the work. But since no follow up was done I cancelled the order and asked for a refund.
I was told that I would get the refund within 45 days by cheque. I has been more than two months but despite many phone calls there is no sign of the said cheque.

I some how seem to agree and really appreciate you posting this on website. I was trying to reach out to them for a quote but like somebody else also mentioned, no one picks up the call. Their number is always busy...looks like it's been kept off the hook. Also, looks like they are not competent enough to handle this work as quoted in their website or by their smart marketing team.
I would rather go else where than contact these guys.
