[Resolved] Cafe Coffee Day — Pathetic behaviour. Improper bill. (2) | |||||
Never thought would have such issue at CCD. @ CCD C Road, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Time - 2 pm. 17 Feb, 2016. I had experienced it before too at same place but today I just could not tolerate. CCD is a place u come to hang out, to sit and have a chat. U order a coffee, some snacks may be n sit comfortably for an hour or two. i understand that people order a coffee may be and sit for hours shamelessly thinking its a park but I believe I am much more sensible than them. I am an Engineer. Pursuing my Masters and a Teacher by Profession and have that much etiquette so as to understand that for how long I am liable to sit in a restaurant after having ordered something. i just checked in at 2 pm. ordered a combo meal. cappuccino, sandwich and after that an espresso shot. When i paid, it summed up to some 270 bucks. at 3 pm this guy came to me not once but twice said it to me "" you will have to Reorder Sir."" I was talking about something important with my friend and we were about to get up in 10, 15 mins may be. I was like, WHAT?????? I have been to numerous restaurants and CCDs but I have never faced so much of forced embarrassment. I believe in FIRST place you are no one to ask a customer and embarrass him like that if you are at CCD. SECOND, I believe I had already made a reasonable order so that I can sit there for 1 hour at least.Crap, how the hell in just one hour you can ask that. is it CCD or some Hotel where you are charging per hour. No if its like that mention it on the menu and walls - "ki yaha ghnate ki hisab se paisa liya jata hai"." I ave been to other CCDs in the same city and never found that type of pathetic behaviour from the staff. Seems like manager is running his own personal Restaurant and not the brand CCD. Off Course after it was being said to me I could not sit there for one more minute. But, to my surprise having talked about this with Manager - Mr. RISHABH he did not realize that he and his staff just did something absurd with me. I must mark his words when he said that - " Ye baki CCD ki tarah nahi hai." I mean what the hell you mean by Baki CCD. Thats the place it is. you go there to hang out to have a coffee not a buffet. If its like you have to pay on minute basis then tell. If its like you cant sit peacefully after having paid some 300 bucks for even one hour then tell. No I will seriously then stop going to CCD and ask my entire group to do that too. Jodhpur is a big city with 100s of places to sit peacefully. Also, THIRD, the bill i got for espresso was not the PRINTED ONE without the tax breakup. but a handwritten as if paying at some DHABA or so and not CCD. ( c the images of bill attached) I dont have so much of time but I have to write this to you after having faced such non sense behaviour from you manager and staff. I hope some action is taken in this regard and Manager is summoned in case you consider your customers valuable. I had the major problem with the behaviour and hospitality about which I have intimated the concerned franchise but what i need to point out here is
The bill i got for espresso was not the PRINTED ONE but a handwritten one without the tax breakup as if paying at some DHABA or so and not CCD.

I hope some action is taken in this regard and Manager is summoned in case you consider your customers valuable.
