[Resolved] Cafe Coffee Day — unethical, rude and impolite behaviour by the staff of cafe coffee day | |||
Dear cafe coffee day team, This is a complaint regarding the rude and humiliating behaviour of your staff at : Cafe coffee day Balina apartment, sector 29, rajyog colony road, ravet, pune, maharashtra 412101 Bill no : [protected]/6969 dated 23/11/17 About a week back, i visited ccd with my husband and one of our friend. The moment we came inside and and occupied a table, we could hear loud blaring music. We requested one of your lady staff who was seated on the other table (Name of your staff : priyanka) to reduce the sound of the music a bit because we could not even listen to what we were speaking. Even after 10 mins, we could still hear the blaring music. We thought of not telling her again. I went to the counter and ordered for a cappuchino, to which she said, that since you'll are three people, you'll will have to order one drink for each. I asked my husband and friend what they would like to have. But they said they dont prefer to have anything then. So i told her that you can just place an order for me for one cappuchino. She said rudely that this is against the policy of ccd. I told her that i cannot force my husband and friend to have a drink, to which she replied that she is helpless and told us that we cannot sit and have a chat for a long time if we are planning to have only one drink. (When i looked around, i saw only one table was occupied and rest all tables were empty). After a lot of persuasion, she took my order and said she will give the bill and the balance amount later. After my cappuchino was over, i waited for her to return the balance amount and the bill. But she did not turn up. Then i had to again go to the counter and ask her to give the bill and the balance cash. Instead of returning my balance amount, she gave me 3 chocolates saying she does not have a change. I told her that i need the cash back and not the chocolates to which she opened the drawer and gave me the change. (That means inspite of having the change, this lady returns chocolates to customers). Finally, when i got the bill, she had billed lemon pomegranate also to my bill (A drink that i never ordered). When i asked her about this, she gave me an explanation that since it is against the policy of ccd, i added the bill amount of another customer also to your bill. (Please let me know ccd, if this is against your policy, why did she go against it and this is unethical for the customer as well as ccd) I would like to ask ccd, what is the need for a customer to go and beg for the bill and the balance amount at the counter. The staff of any food outlet is supposed to immediately give back these things to the customer when the order is taken. Your staff was always polite to us which made us frequent visitors of ccd. But after such impolite, rude and unethical behaviour of the staff, we have decided not to visit ccd again. I humbly request you to kindly look in to the matter. You have already lost one regular customer. I am not hurriedly putting this incident in the social media. However if i do not get the response from your side., then i may have to put this bitter coffee experience on watsapp, facebook and other social media. Was this information helpful? | |||
