[Resolved] Easy Ride Cab Services — Cab did not come for Pick Up to station | |||
Hello, For 18th May, I had booked cab for 5:00 AM from Wakad till Pune railway station with Easy Ride Cab Services([protected]). I was travelling till Hyderabad for some urgent meeting. My train was at 5:50 AM. I had booked the cab on 17th May, but they didn't send me any confirmation message so I called them and confirmed the cab details in morning 18th May around 4 AM and got the driver details. I called the driver at 4:30 AM for confirming if he was coming, he said he will reach on time ad confirmed the address. But when the driver didn't reach by 5:10 I started calling him but he didn't pick up my call. I even called the Easy ride Services they said, his number is busy so he must be calling me but i didn't receive any calls from his end. I waited and called again but still no response. At 5:30 AM the Easy Ride Services called me up to tell me that "Sorry, please find some vehicle and go since the driver is not coming". I asked them whom will i get at 5:30 AM. Even i tried and got a Auto at 5:40 AM, but could not reach till 5:50 AM and missed my train. The same day i called the Easy Ride services for explanation twice, they said we have registered your complaint but after that day I am still waiting for a reply. I also agree. Meru Cabs also do not want to ply when the distances are not very long. The worst is they lack the spine to say that they cannot provide a cab, instead confirm the booking and also send you a confirmation sms with taxi number and mobile number of driver leading you to falsely believe that the cab will turn up. Better to go by the local cab service than wait for a Meru. they are the most unreliable service, especially when an occasion demands it.
Pathetic service of easy ride cab service in Pune Pimple Saudagar.
At the time of booking in the morning for evening pick up everything was fine. got a message confirming the booking within 5 mins where it was mentioned, if you cancel, you will have to pay rs 100.
Then less than an hour before pick up time, got a message that due to some reason we have to cancel your booking. They didn't even care to call and apologize. When I tried to call, phone was busy continuously and when I was finally connected I was told that my car conked off so can't come.
They charge rs 100 if customer cancels the booking then why should they not compensate the customer when they cancel the booking.
Will never travel by this cab and will never recommend it to anyone.

Meru Cabs — Did not come to pick up.
Meru Cabs.On 7th dec’09. I booked a meru ( Taxi no 9014 Driver’s name –Mr. Dubey) from the Domestic airport to Wadala. I also got a comfirmatation message with the car no. and the drivers cell no. I booked the car at 2:45pm in the afternoon but the driver did not turn up. I waited there till 4 pm but there was no sign of the car. I called up the driver, he was rude and said I am off to goregaon and not coming back and disconnected the call.
I called up the meru call centre and they refused to help me by saying we cant do anything as the airport supervisor is different from us.
I never expected such kind of a service and behavior from meru. Meru employs and drivers are very irresponsible. They don’t deserve to be where they are. Serious action must be taken against it in fact they should change their punch line from “rely on us” to “NEVER rely on us”.
Very Disappointing.
