[Resolved] Hyundai India — Pathetic customer service | |||
I used to be a proud Hyundai customer. I purchased a Hyundai Eon Magna plus, petrol + lpg) last year on 15th Aug 2012. I was very happy with the kind of support that Hyundai extended for the first three months.However, things start changing and becoming ugly after that. Every time my car went for servicing, the next day it would start giving me trouble again...my car is less at home and more in the workshop. My recent interaction with the Mithila guys was a very bad one where i realised how i was being cheated every time. I am not denying the fact that rats have also created ruckus in my car...but everytime there was a problem created by rats i accepted and got it fixed through Mithila..so no issues on that. Today i went to Mithila again because the last time i claimed insurance in September, my car was in workshop for a few days. After it came from the workshop, it just would not start on LPG. Since i did not have time to go back to Mithila again, i decided to run on petrol for almost two weeks. Today i came to know that when they were repairing the car, they switched off the lpg connection for whatever reason known best to them. Initially they tell me it will take atleast 2-3 hours to fix the problem. Then i start yelling and i see 5 people coming and trying to sort out the issue. There was some Mr Shoaib who came to fore and pretended to help. They could fix the problem in less than 30 mins. Then there was a mechanic who says i want to take your car for test drive. I did not understand the reason for that but i thought he probably said it in good faith. When he came back he told me my speedometer is not working and the steering wheel is jammed. Since i was getting late i said il drop the car tomorrow. While driving home, the steering became so jammed that i could barely move it. They are mechanics, experts...you sit in the car and give race for two seconds you know the speedometer is working or not. I have been driving my car for so long without any problem. Suddenly today the steering gets jammed. Again after visiting the Mithila workshop. I dont know how much money i have spent on these things..but more than that my trust is shattered. I give them my car, my hard earned money, thinking that they will take care of it since its their baby first. But this is what i get in return. So i have decided to write on this forum because i am left with no option. So please, my humble request, please think twice before entering the Hyundai center anywhere. thanx Monika Bhambi Was this information helpful? | |||
