Carrier ac is around 2 years old. After 1 year company warranty we had taken amc service from the company itself. Due to less cooling we raised a complain. A technician from the company's vendor visited my place and after inspection told us it is because of gas leak. We asked the next step and he said he will remove the machine and his pickup person will take it to the vendor site for gas filing. After waiting 2 days and multiple calls their pickup person took the unit. After more 2 days we got a call that the cooling pipe of the unit is broken and needs to be changed and will cost us rs. 4500. We raised concern as we are under amc contract and this needs to be covered under that. We were told compressor is under company warranty and this is not. Our understanding is if the units cooling pipe was broken no cooling would be happening. The company mishandled the unit or part and broke it. Now they are pinning it on us. We think this is utter fraud as the cooling rod cannot break in less than 2 year. This could be a manufacturing defect which was found late or vendors fault. Request help on this matter. Carrier is not responding to our calls or mails. We have even tweeted about this but no response. Worst service ever. Never going to buy it again. Was this information helpful? | |||||
