I purchased the Carrier Inv A/C 18K EMPERIA LXI/DXI 3S from Vasanth & Co on 13 Aug 2023.
Problem:
After sometime frequently I faced issues like the display show as EC it wont cool until restart the AC & Stabilizer. Then 26 Sep 2025, I raised a complaint (refer Transaction Number 1) regarding the cooling issue through customer care.
What Happened so far:
Then you assigned the Vendor, they did not respond well so again I raised concern, finally the Vendor Owner (Rajesh) called me and he told me, he will replace the Sensor board and he will do the water wash without additional charges after 2 days. Then the service was done on 30 Sep 2025 and I paid Rs.1, 030/- for Visiting charges and replacement of sensor board. That evening, the Vendor forced me to get the OTP to close the ticket and he confirmed he will do water wash without additional charges. So I shared the OTP. But instead of Closing the ticket they Cancelled it, unfortunately i didn't notice.
No Receipt & Warranty Cards:
The Vendor didn't share any warranty card of sensor and any receipt for this amount. And the service person said, the issue came during past water wash. After sensor replacement the Cooling was not good, i thought its due to dust. I followed the vendor many times for water wash, but after a month he asked for charges for the service and the response was not good. Along with the customer care person, he spoke harshly to me over a conference call on 30 Oct. So I arranged with the outside service person and I did the water wash.
Problem Repeat:
After the water wash, I still found the cooling issue not resolved and the issue due to the new sensor board which was replaced on 30 Sep 2025. As the vendor cancelled the ticket instead of closing I am unable to reopen it. Today (03 Nov 2025), I raised an issue and Carrier customer care created a new ticket / transaction number.
Problem now:
The vendor person called me and they're asking charges Rs.450/- to visit again and I suppose to pay again if the sensor needs to be replaced again.
My Question Is:
1. I paid Rs.1, 030/- for service and part replacement. But why the vendor not shared the warranty card or receipt?
2. They are saying I suppose to complain within 30 days of the same issue. But due to vendor water wash, its delayed and that's not my end
3. Has the vendor replaced the Carrier verified Sensor? If yes, then the product is worth only for 1 month?
4. If they visit for the first time then I can pay Rs.450/- (i don't know why this is so costly to just visit). But why should I pay again to just visit for the same problem?
5. Where is the communication about the 30 days warranty, SLA for reopen?
6. Is the Carrier AC wont work or support after warranty period? Does that mean, the life span of Carrier AC is just 2 years?
Finally my word is, my kid has not slept well for the last few days due to an AC issue. Home appliances are related to emotions too, not just selling something to the customer. I trusted the brand Carrier blindly, that's the fault I made it.
