Carrier Midea India — Terrible quality of Carrier AC & pathetic customer service...
Hi, I have purchased a Carrier inverter split AC in April this year from Vijay Sales. it was installed a few days after. Ever since its installation, we have had water leakage problems. I have made at least 10-12 complaints in the past 4 months and at least 5-8 times your technicians / engineers have come home, checked & reportedly fixed the AC, and have reported to me that the AC is fixed and will not leak anymore. However, water leakage problems continue. The last complaint was made on 12th August. It is 25th August today and neither has a technician visited my house nor has anyone called back. I have made at least 3-4 calls to the customer service helpline since the 12th and they keep assuring me that a senior technician will visit my house the very next day. However, nobody comes. All this is on record in your customer service database. In case this AC is not sorted out tomorrow, as confirmed to my by Carrier Customer Care just now, I will be returning the AC to Vijay Sales and filing a complaint and a suit for money-back and damages against Carrier in the Consumer Redressal Forums / Consumer Court. This quality of AC installation and this poor quality of customer service are clear indications that Carrier has lived out its quota of pathetic quality products and services and should not be in business any more. Atleast not in India.
