I purchased a Ford Endeavour based on a PDI report issued by Cars24 on 19th August 2025, which stated that the suspension and mounting were in perfect condition, and relying on this expert assessment, I finalized the purchase. However, after purchase, an independent workshop (Sai Automobiles, Shahdara, Noida) inspected the car and found major defects, including torn suspension arms on both front sides, shock absorbers in extremely bad condition, and car mounting cut/damaged. Additionally, the PDI report incorrectly stated that the AC was in imperfect condition, whereas it is working perfectly, highlighting the gross inaccuracy in the inspection. I reported the issue to Cars24 immediately and gave them more than five days for resolution, but instead of repairing the vehicle as per their responsibility, they offered a goodwill refund, which I declined because the issue concerns the safety and usability of the car. At present, the vehicle is unsafe for use and parked idle, causing severe inconvenience, mental harassment, and financial loss. Therefore, I seek full repair of the suspension, mounting, and related components at the cost of Cars24, or if a financial settlement is considered, the payment should be made directly to the workshop (Sai Automobiles) for the actual repair amount, not as a lump-sum refund to me, along with compensation for harassment and delay. I am attaching a copy of the PDI report from Cars24, the independent workshop inspection report on letterhead, and email communications with Cars24 regarding this complaint. I expect immediate repair of the vehicle as per the original PDI commitment and full settlement of workshop charges by Cars24. Was this information helpful? |
