Dear,

This so very disappointing to receive such a call wherein your executive mr. Aziz (As been told over phone) having contact no. +91-[protected] called me for my car which was evaluated at your cars24 office, jaipur just because i received so many calls for it.
Who is he to decide that it should be sold into a scrap and giving me wage explainations which are more sarcastic & never been taken up, my cars r/c is till 2023 having registration no. Rj14 2c 0242.
Please ask your team to remain in corporate ethics else cars24 would be the sufferer.
Need an action plan for same, kindly revert.

CARS24 Services Customer Care's response Hi Vipul,

We see that the car you wish to sell is Maruti 800 originally registered in 1996. Post the law passing for the scrap of cars older than 15 years for petrol and 10 years for diesel, the valuation of cars in the bracket have drastically reduced. Although you're right, no one has the right to tell you that your car needs to be scrapped however this was just passed to you as a suggestion, for you to take a call.

I would like to go on and mention, that we will surely take corrective actions if the above was not communicated to you in the same manner, and we would like to apologize on behalf of the team for that.
