I would like to rise a complaint regarding my ward’s school, The Indian School, delhi. They are forcing our children to send them to school and not giving any option for online or offline regarding final exams. But we are not willing to send our children to school at this pandemic. My ward is in class 11th.

    Good morning

I would like to raise a complaint regarding my ward's school The India School which is forcing us to send my child to school for offline exams for class 9th and 11th.
We are not being given a choice instead we are being forced and blackmailed by the school to send out children for practicals and offline exams for classes 9th, 11th.

We are parents of students studying at Whitefield Global School, Bangalore. Karnataka’s education minister has decided to partially reopen all schools from mid of February, but the government had also published that schools can be re-opened but with the proper consent of parents.

On 22nd January the school had sent the final exam date sheet stating that exams will be conducted online. But suddenly on 30th January, they sent another mail that online classes will be ending on 3rd February and the final exams will be in pen and paper mode i.e students had to physically come to school and give the final exam. Also, they have sent the NOC form which needs to be filled and signed by the parent. The NOC form states that if something happens to the student the school will not be responsible. The school is also saying that we are not giving any choice between online and offline exam and it is mandatory for parents to sign and give NOC then only they will allow the student to give the final exam. They said they are following CBSE directions.

Corona is not over yet and the most important and sensitive aspect is our child’s health and life. We have spent the entire year with online studies and online exams. Now, at the time of final exams, which are the most important, why should we change the pattern and risk the student’s life. Also, the terms of NOC sound very unfair as the school is taking no responsibility for our children coming to the school premises. I think, if you are calling everyone to attend school for exams, the responsibility lies with the school.

Looking forward to your prompt response. Your cooperation in allowing students for online exams will be highly appreciated.

        Thank You

#OnlineExamsfor9thand11th

I am a student of DPS ruby park and we have been recently notified that are exams will be held in offline mode. The education minister himself made it clear that offline exams/classes should not be made compulsory, but school isn't following that. Moreover some students have family members who are very old and have certain health issues. So going school can put their as well as their family members' life at risk. We beg you to look into this matter.

Delhi Public School Ruby Park is forcing the students to take the offline exams (finals) without the approval from parents. They are only taking a declaration form with an undertaking that the school will not be held responsible for any covid cases which spreads from the premises. We the student body is completely against it as it's not only hazardous to our health but is also going against the norms of the government by not taking parental consent.

I'm a student of Dps ruby park kolkata . West bengal education minister had decided to reopen all the schools from 12th of feb, also the gov had also published that schools can be opened but with 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚙𝚎𝚛 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚝 of parents .
All these things can be considered but yesterday on 6th of feb the school suddenly gave us a notice regarding reopening of schools and conducting offline exams for class 9 and 11 without giving any option for consent and gave us a declaration form where we are supposed to state whether we are going to school or not . Firstly the school authorities didnt inform regarding online exams beforehand and I think its next to impossible to prepare for offline exams in a span of 12 days since we have our exams starting from 20th. Also why havent we got anything regarding the consent and its totally unfair to do so since the gov has already stated that without consent nothing can be done. The whole year we students have done classes online and we have given the exam in same then why are they not doing the same for finals . Its not that dps can't manage for online exams, we gave our block test 1 in online only .Things like exam temperament and proper preparation cannot be managed within a span of only 12 days . Leaving the exam preparation aside, covid is still present in our country and our sections have around 1000 students. How are they supposed to expect all o[censored]s to come and give the exam in offline mode ? What about the health and safety of students ?
Please do look after this concern

hi, i m a non med student from class 11 in GMSSS sector 10 chandigarh .this is very disappointing ! i wanna talk abt offline exams . the board has decided that class 9th and 11th will have to give offline exams and rest junior classes will have online exams. how does that make any sense .? like corona is dangerous for class 8th students but not for 9th class and 11th class students how does that make any difference? even exams in college are being conducted online. the issue isnt just that the board has decided offline exams for us but also that they are not taking any actions abt the complaints being filed and mailed to them... exams are just abt to start and there are no safety measures taken by school why dont they pay attention... isnt this important? we are so helpless and i[censored]nfortunately any student gets corona then who is responsible for that because as pr instructions kids below 18 cant get vaccinated so students above 18 and tstudent of pre nursery to class 8th are safe . but we are still in danger !!!

Throughout the year my class exams have been conducted online. Then what’s the point of conducting them offline now. The government should ask the schools to give both the options of either conducting the exams online or offline. Then it’s the parents and students’ choice that with which option they want to go with,

This is a request or appeal on behalf of all studenof 9th and 11th.. please tell our schools to take exams online as it is veri difficult to cope up with all subjects as we cannot understand that much in online classes what we can in offline.. so if we studied online we should give online exams plus i was a Covid patient last month involving my whole family n i know the consequences n no matter how mich precautions we take it will be very risky to give exams online...our schools are blame cbse for online exams so it a request from all o[censored]s as it is very difficult to wear mask n give exam for continous 3 hours as it will be very suffocating i[censored] couldn’t risk our lives by takin offline classes from starting then why are u risking it now ? Either make the exams online or promote us without any examination as we students can’t risk our lives

                                        Good morning,
I am a student of summer fields school, kailash colony. I study in class 9 and the is forcing class 9 and 11 students to come and give papers offline without parents consent. We have tried contacting the school authorities but usually no one is available. The problem is there was no tutions or extra classes available because of covid and I know that teaches have done a great job teaching online but we as students need more help and on top of that there is heavy risk of covid also.
I hope you'll take my complaint in consideration.
                                        Thank you.
