Updated by improve society I had applied several times for getting SBI credit card which were not considered. On verbal enquiry it has been intimated that the employee who wear khaki dress (Police/Forces) and black dress (advocates) are not considered for SBI card. However, in last February, I had been issued with SBI credit Card with credit limit of 25000 and cash limit of 5000. I had transaction for last six months and there is no default in paying money back as my salary is Para Military Salary Package (PMSP) which, the SBI had insisted for. After 6 months I had requested for extension of credit limit but denied as there is a clause that extension of limit is at the discretion of them. The practical difficult is that I could not go for a purchase of any big thing. But had transaction for small amount. Again I had enquired the possibilities of increase of credit limit. This time I had been informed that due to the past history of the transaction the extension request is denied. When the limit is kept very low how can i go for big purchase. The logic is contradictory.
