I would like to bring an incident to your attention which we faced at Cinepolis Ticket Booking Counter, Orion East Mall, Dated 6th June, 2022. We approached the guy at the ticket booking counter for Two Tickets of 6:45 pm show of Samrat Prithwiraj. That guy showed us the monitor and said only grey coloured seats are available which belong to J and K rows, farthest from the screen and these two tickets cost us Rs 400. We entered the auditorium only to find that the entire front row seats, approximately 4 - 5 rows were almost empty with one or two people can be seen here and there. To our surprise, we noticed the people who came following us all got the J ar K row tickets, keeping the front row empty which are of the tickets of lesser amount. When we contacted the counter guy after the show he completely denied the fact, what a great show of customer service!
Here is my question to Cinepolis, why were we misguided or deceived and denied lesser value front row tickets when there were approximately 25 to 30 people in the entire auditorium? Is these a new kind of business trick of post COVID times?
Please provide a good and justified reason to this ASAP.
