Citibank — payment gateway issue | |||
I was trying to book railway ticket online. After filling info and got deducted from the payment gateway of Citi bank through IRCTC. Now I am worried that I have lowest amount in my bank and not able to book another one. In this case, I cant book tickets. Resolve the critical issue. Its medical emergency. I have been shoot a mail to railway department. They said might be failure of the gateway transaction from the bank. Concern: (1) If in a certain period it wont confirm and the tickets got sold out. (2) If I am as Customer/Consumer not a responsible for the payment gateway failure. (3) If railway department wont take action because they have been said it is coming from payment gateway. (4) If a bank will tell the technical issue arise. from all the above concerns will happen and noone will be going to understand and resolve the issue. What should I do (1) Shall I go to the consumer court or (2) Shall I file a petition against Railway department (3) Shall I file a case against Citi Bank Kindly suggest and tell me what is the best solution to solve this issue. That available tickets which I have book but didnt get it. Its a big damage and I dont have enough amount in my account. Responsible authority will be charged through a processed form.
