Cleartax — PATHETIC Service from ClearTax & its Agents

It has been 2 months since I'm trying to get a proprietorship firm registered, GST registered & a shop act license. I was supposed to issue an invoice to my client in October under this new firm. There have been many delays in this process. I am to blame for many of these delays. But the rest is due to the very bad service from ClearTax agents.

Particularly, the agent assigned to my case, Lalit, is very lazy & sloppy in his work. He messages me on WhatsApp & then calls me endlessly when he wants something from me, but when I ask for anything on WhatsApp, he never replies, not even several days after the message. When he calls endlessly & I can't answer because I'm in an office meeting, he only stops calling after I drop him a "please wait" message on WhatsApp. When I need something from him, he never picks up my call, even if I try several times. He calls back several hours later & his entire tone of voice is such that he's just trying to get rid of this task, just ending the conversation somehow as soon as possible.

My first GST registration got rejected due to a documentation issue. I take the blame for that. But even after I had submitted the corrected document, he took 7 days to act on it. He wouldn't even have done that if I had not called him up that day & asked him to do it right away. In those 7 days I dropped messages on ClearTax chat & WhatsApp to Lalit. Lalit doesn't bother to respond & the ClearTax chat guy Arun simply forwards my request to Lalit's boss Poonam, who also doesn't bother to respond. Even when I called Lalit 7 days later, he went on to explain to me (for the third time) why my GST registration got rejected, as if he is totally unaware that I have already sent him the corrected document, both on WhatsApp & also via ClearTax portal.

Seeing this pathetic service, I couldn't wait for you guys to do anything for me, so I eventually tried doing it myself. I asked Lalit for my GST login username password. HE DIDN'T RESPOND! I had to remind him 3 times to do the shop act registration. When he finally did it much later, he dropped me some shop-act related document on WhatsApp. I asked him what is this document? HE DIDN'T RESPOND!

Within this week, I need to get the documents from these registrations, get a bank account using those & start invoicing my client. If I'm unable to invoice my client this week (for the second month in a row), I will be moving to a different service provider. I have informed everyone (Arun, Lalit, etc) that I am new to all this & I need your help & guidance to make it a success. Instead, everyone has taken this as an excuse to ignore me & never do my work. This is not why I paid ClearTax for. I am willing to pay more for better agents who GET THINGS DONE, but if that's not the case then I should start looking for alternatives to ClearTax & advise everyone else to do the same.
