[Resolved] Club Mahindra Holidays — Booking denied in same / loser season with extended family | |||||
I am a club mahindra member since 1st october 2008 (Membership id 350391). I have a red studio membership and have enjoyed stay at several club mahindra resorts. I have invited my extended family / siblings / parents to vacation with us on 5 occasions - udaipur (March 2016), lonavala (May 2015), coorg (Dec 2013), varca (Apr 2013) & ashtamudi (July 2010). We have enjoyed two 1br floating cottages in ashtamudi, 1 br accommodation at varca, while other stays were 2 separate units usually studio / hotel unit. The bookings were made online or through the call centre during the school vacations. I, as red studio members, was allowed to book multiple units, also in higher season and number of days as per club calculations were deducted, which is fine with me. Now suddenly club mahindra has changed the rules - without informing me. Is it not necessary to take prior consent if legal contracts are altered? I was denied booking in purple season (December 2016 at varca) and was told to try just 15 days prior to the trip. Also, i am not allowed to book 2 units even in a lower season (I tried booking 2 hu at jaipur in march 2017 and was denied) let alone red season. What is the point of taking a red membership if such bookings are not allowed? Why does club mahindra advertise ‘family vacation’ if they do not allow family to accompany members? I would not subscribe to club mahindra if these restrictions were informed back in 2008.in the past years, i have noticed very many changes in the rules – minimum 3 days booking, revisit to a resort after atleast 1 year, restrictions wrt book in a purple season. How many more changes will club mahindra make to their offering? Are these changes really beneficial to the members? Why did club mahindra offer 25 year membership if they cannot live up to their side of the commitment? Was this information helpful? | |||||
