I had purchased 3 years Go Zest membership plan during Covid period, which was offered to me as a discounted special offer price. I was clearly informed at the time of buying the package, both by the sales agent who came in person, as well as company's Mumbai customer onboarding team ( over recorded phone from Mumbai), that the package is extendable beyond the given period of 3 years.
Since it was covid time, we had mentioned to them that we would not be able to utilize the given points within 3 years period and hence may definitely want extension. It was told to us that the extension is in the hands of branch manager and can be done towards the end of 3 years period just upon a simple request from the customer. Beyond 6 months is also possible but that would require special approval from the HO level. We (me and my husband) also mentioned that what if the approval does not come, the sales person and phone banking persson both mention that they are their to support in such case and that they have never seen a case where such extention is not granted.
Upon hearing this we got assured and paid the whole amount that was agreed.
Now we have been denied any request of extension incluidng 6 months extension period.
This is unfair and goes against the goodwill of the company. Moreover it was told to us that the sales person who made such false promises have been terminated as thety have made such false promised to other customers too ( one Mr. Wilson and Ms. Bhavna from Mumbai).
But what about the customers who were made false promises by these crooks. Why should they bear the cost of wrongdoings by employees. What does the compliance department of the company doing about it.
We need justice and want nothin less that an extension of at least 6 months period for full usage of our hard earned money paid to the company.
