I got a call from club mahindra stating they are offering a free holiday trip for two people. They asked me to come along with my wife to collect a holiday coupon. We went to Vivanta hotel, which is located on the race course road in Coimbatore. Vishnu Kiran was the salesperson who approached us. He asked us to attend a short seminar about membership which was nearly 45minutes. He asked about my occupation, salary and questioned about the places I visit and like to visit. Vishnu Kiran started writing on paper and explained about the membership benefits. We were impressed by his speech & took a blue studio membership for 4 years. Paid the down payment of ₹37, 500/- via debit card.
Vishnu Kiran told us the following benefits I will be getting from this blue studio package:
1. I can utilize 7 nights per year.
2. I will be getting a ₹10, 000 gold voucher through e-mail.
3. ₹6, 000 food voucher will be credited on the club mahindra app.
4. They will arrange free transport for local sight-seeing.
5. I can book resorts in the off season.
6. After completing the 7-day trip if I wish to continue, then I can pay the EMI to continue the membership. Otherwise, I can close off the club mahindra membership.
During the verification call which I received from club Mahindra, that time I asked them about the gold and food vouchers but they were not aware of the benefits. After that, I spoke with Vishnu Kiran. He gave assurance for the gold and food vouchers and told me to accept the verification call. I acknowledged the verification call as per the vishnu kiran instructions.
When I tried to book for a holiday I found most of the resorts were filled and on a waiting list. Regarding this, I frequently called the point of contact Vishnu Kiran but he did not attend my call.Hence, I called customer care and explained the issues.They said I needed to pay AMC of ₹19, 800 and EMI of ₹7, 586. If I do not pay both I will not be able to book the holiday trip. I found that whatever the salesperson explained to me was fake.Frequently, I have received calls from club mahindra regarding EMI & AMC not being paid.I am not going to pay a single rupee because it's the fault of the sales person who fooled and cheated us. I took membership on 15-June-2023. Now I want to cancel this membership due to some false promises made by their sales person. I tried to contact him after acknowledging the call but he did not attend my call.
I trusted the company and took the membership. After paying ₹37, 500/- club mahindra asked for more money. I refused to give my bank account details but they paid one EMI from the down payment without my knowledge.
Request you to cancel the membership and kindly refund the amount.
If you fail to refund the amount, I will take legal action against your company. I am also a youtuber & going to upload videos against club mahindra.
