Club Mahindra Holidays — Mismanagement and unprofessional behaviour

Hi,

I am Red studio member of Club Mahindra with membership ID 1501560. I had booked my stay in Club Mahindra Binsar from 14th till 23rd Oct at Manipur Villa. Due to rainfall from 17th evening there was no electricity in the resort on 19th Oct. We were given room no 2231 which had no water as well. I had complained 10 times to the main reception and housekeeping, no single person turned up for 2 hours. I contacted the reception at valley and spoke to Mr. Gaurav thrice and he did not pay any heed to the compliant, just said that he is looking into the matter. When i went downstairs one of the staff member told that there is no diesel for the generator and there will be no water in the room.
I told him that there should be clear communication from the manager and why we haggled for two hours without water. They then gave as another room to freshen up. We spoke to the manager Mr. Vinod in the valley and he told us that he will shift us to the valley. We are two families travelling together, one was shifted and we had to stay back in the villa due to bad roads. There was no electricity and no candles and matchstick. We were asked dinner preferences and we told that whatever the chef can prepare we will have that. We did not eat in the villa on the other days as the prices are exorbitant and we cooked food inside or got it packed from outside, but that day since we were stranded and we could not cook anything since morning as there was no electricity and it was complete pitch dark we had to eat in the villa.
Club Mahindra staff has the audacity to charge us for that dinner, i mean this is totally unheard of. instead of providing complimentary dinner and compensating for the inconvenience you are charging us!
The managerial staff are highly unprofessional and do not have the basic manner and courtesy to deal with the members or address or pacify the guests
We are paying AMC to the tune of 24-25K and this is what we get in return! There are 3-4 memberships in my family and we plan to surrender the membership after our recent experience.
Also you have given us the accommodation in Villa and you are charging 100 rs for to and fro. This is like you have a restaurant at 5th floor you are asking us to come and eat and we will have to pay for using the lift!
You are charging maintenance fees from us and increasing it by 10% every year and then asking us to pay 100 Rs also, then why the hell we are paying the annual maintenance???
My entire vacations are ruined by this pathetic experience and i would like my AMC to be refunded for this year or waived off for next year.
If this compliant is not acted upon i will be lodging this in consumer forum along with my other family members who have Club Mahindra memberships
