Club Mahindra Holidays — Non availability of rooms on the very first day/very first hour/ very first minute of opening registration for the resort via call center

My membership id is – 2520058, and i hate to say i am club mahindra member as i desperately now want to cancel my membership and get my money back. This frustration is not due to one incident, it is due to several bad experiences i had with club mahindra now.

Let me list down very recent one,

I was been told that lonavala booking for month of june opens at 9:30 am on 3rd may. I called at 9:30 am on 3rd june at 9:38am.

Praveen, from call center answered my phone and i gave my dates on which i wanted reservation. He said sir wait system is upgrading (!!) then he said sir, studio is not avl, then i said ok, book hotel unit, then he said, ok i am confirming ur booking, and again he said sir system was upgrading, sorry the dates u asked is no longer there. Then i said give me 1 br, he said they are also not avl.

All these happened by 9:50 (20 mins after reservation window opened). I was really frustrated by this time (As i was planning this from past 1 month), and i said please give it to your senior, and he put me on long hold and then call got disconnected.

Are there any block booking that you do here, we as a normal member never gets a chance to book this resort. And the call canter service is really really pathetic.

And after all these i got a call from club mahindra to give me few referrals!! Please stop asking for any referrals, as with this kind of service and non-availability of resort, if i recommend club mahindra to some of friends, my friendship will go for toss.

Please take a serious note of it.

It is an amazingly glorified way of fooling people. The booking for a holiday starts 4 months prior to the Holiday month and the site crashes in the very first minute of the start of the bookings. People pay a hefty amount for membership to get engaged to a company for their Holiday Experience and the best part of it, you would not get the bookings even four months prior to the booking date. Seriously an experience I must say. To add to this experience the relationship people even have the audacity to give a reason like "The particular property is a soft launch or a hot property and so they cant help much about it".

*One question asked everytime you make a booking or any interaction with Club Mahindra "Based on your experience with Club Mahindra, how likely is it that you'd recommend us to your family / friends?"

Please take the reply for this seriously... Family and friends are out of question, We would not even suggest the far most known person to engage oneself with this membership.

Availability of bookings is a VERY SERIOUS ISSUE with Club Mahindra. You have probably over done the memberships in accordance to your capacity to accommodate members.

Please look into it with a serious note. This is not at all taken.

I have put this complaint here, because online and on social platforms there are many such similar complaints and still no changes felt. More and more such complaints raising but nothing is being done, is what I feel.

There is no meaning of the season wise bifurcation and categorization of membership. In any case, planning a holiday is difficult 4 months prior and when we make efforts to do so, still no reservations available because of the issue with the website.

I feel, in the first place the system of making bookings available 4 months prior to the date is wrong, because many people just block in anticipation and cancel in the end, Which makes it difficult for the ones who actually want to plan a Holiday.

In my case, I have the new year starting this June and 7 days of the new year would add and therefore as per your rule that not more than 21 days can be accumulated, the 3.9 Days that I have blocked in the waiting list for your Mahabaleshwar resort might get lapsed. I am not sure if my bookings would happen or not and therefore the days would be lost. PLEASE ADVICE WHAT TO BE DONE.

To add to the frustration, today when I had called your customer care, the lady on the other hand placed my call to take advice from her senior and kept me hanging for long and later cancelled the call. So I was left back to square zero and call back and explain the whole thing to the new person (Which I even did try calling but this time the queue was too long and therefore I hanged up).
This people intention is get the money and dont bothered for any service
