Club Mahindra Holidays — Request for refund for the useless product sold by Club Mahindra

Hi Sir,

We requested for cancellation on 2nd Oct 2021 by email to club Mahindra once we realized we won't be able to use the useless product at any point in time. We didn't accept the product when the Club Mahindra team called us for validation and told us the limitations and seasonal restrictions/limitations of the product. So we didn't accept the product and we raised the ticket. But this ticket was closed by the Sales guy Rafeeq without our knowledge. We are surprised how he could close the ticket before solving the issue.

The seasonal restrictions were hidden by Club Mahindra sales guys (Mr.Rafeeq and Mr.Shanmugam from the Chennai office). Upon our email complaint and cancellation request on 2nd Oct 2021, Club Mahindra sales guy Rafeeq visited us on 18th Oct 2021 and apologized for hiding the seasonal restrictions applicable to the useless product he sold.

We have recorded the voice message where the club Mahindra sales guy apologized and said he will process the refund within 15 days.

We knew that one day we end up with today's situation. So we recorded the whole discussion purposely. The same was shared with your Chennai office with Mr.Nikil, Ms.Kiruba, and Mr.Subbu. Mr.Subbu said these two sales guys had been warned with a warning letter. Not sure whether this is true and we don't bother as well. I'm not sure this recorded voice message has been shared with top management or relevant personnel. I doubt so.

Whatever Club Mahindra sales guy wrote in the paper and emails, we have that copy too.

Club Mahindra Chennai office was telling us they have to deduct from Rafeeq and Shanmugam's salary to pay our refund since these robbers are the culprits for the whole issue.

What we paid was 2, 21, 000 for each membership. We have two memberships in total. We paid full in one shot to EMI interest and we are stupid.

I would say the sales guys doing daylight robbery and just focusing on monthly targets. Club Mahindra knew it. Please do not tell me we are the only one seeking cancellation and all other customers are happy. When we registered at the Chennai office security entrance, we noticed in the register book that most of the customers visit the Chennai office for cancellation purposes.

Now I realized sending emails to Mohit Sharma and Magana is also useless. I found these two people's emails from Grievance Redressal copy. But it is proven this Grievance Redressal is also useless.

We received our membership confirmation, username, and password on 1st Oct 2021. Our communication started with a cancellation request dated 2nd Oct 2021. Between 2-Oct-2021 to 10-Jan-22, no updates from your member experience team, Chennai branch members even though we met them & no action was taken by them till now.

We have raised the request to cancel our membership on 02 Oct 2021 the next day our membership confirmation and welcome letter, username, and password. However, we were told that we raised the complaint on the 11th day, and the day according to their policy they will not give me any refund after the 10th day. Should Club Mahindra calculate the days of complaint from the day we receive our membership confirmation, username, and password or calculate from the day we made our payment which was done on 19th Sep 2021.

The moment we received the username, and password, we immediately logged in and found this product is useless and cant be used in any situation and we also realized we got cheated by sales guys.

The Club Mahindra Chennai office staff we met includes Mr.Nikil, Ms.Kiruba, and Mr.Subbu…However no use as of now. Ms.Kiruba said she and her boss Mr.Raghavendra are handling our case. But no reply to our email and no answer to our calls and messages. Damn poor customer response.

It is our sincere desire to surrender the Membership and get a refund in this respect. We also desire to resolve the matter amicably failing which we may decide our future course of action including legal recourse against the Company in an appropriate forum with all the pieces of evidence we have in our hands.
