[Resolved]  Refrigerator — Defective refrigerator sale by LG

Its very sad to say about LG. LG is selling substandard product I in Indian market.

I had purchased 185 Liter Refrigerator in 31st October 2009. But after used it is observed on April 15 th 2010 it cooling system not working properly.

I had register complaint on 16 th April 2010 Complaint no. is C[protected]. LG's service engineer visited on 19 th April 2010 at 06:30 PM At our address.

He found cooling pipe of refrigerator was leaked. Then he told he will replaced the part on 20 th April 2010.

I think this is temporary solution by LG. It seems LG doesn't have quality control checks at there works.
It really raise questions about LG's quality control department. Because of there ignorance customer is suffering LG is not caring about customer money.

I request you to either replace the refrigerator or do the analysis of fault.
I don't want repaired.

Refrigerator — Refrigerator's Freezer not working properly

We purchased Godrej Edge model on 18/06/2008. The day we bought it, we checked the freezer and found that the door of the freezer is not closing properly. After one or two days, when the ice started forming inside the freezer, we found that anything that we kept in the freezer starts melting and that was due to its door not closing properly. We made several complaints to the customer care centre. But all in vain, Godrej sent its engineers to our residence, but everytime they checked they said..."its normal madam, now a days the freezer is coming in this style only". Somebody please tell them that we are not aliens, neither we are living in isolation..who donot know anything about what is happening in the outer world. Then after making several more complaints, another engineer came and fitted a new or old door (god knows what it was) to the freezer. But that too stayed upto its quality and the problem continued. Anything we kept in the freezer started melting. The enginner did one more "UPKAAR" to us. He fixed the door to the freezer in the way that now the whole freezer seems not to be in its place. Whenever we de frost the refrigerator, the melted ice started flowing inside the refrigerator and whole of the things whether it is vegetables or milk or anything gets drenched with the melted ice. God knows what type of services they are providing. Now, yesterday another engineer came and again he put the door of another model of godrej's refrigerator and said that madam that has been specially arranged for you. Seriously, we are not satisfied by the services of Godrej. Would never buy any of Godrej's product and suggest everybody not to buy the same.

Refrigerator — Freezer problem

Dear Sir / Madam,

We Purchased a Godrej Refrigerator just before a month.

After 20 days the freezer started doing problem. So, we called the customer care[protected] and registered a complaint (Ref : 244203) on 18.04.09. After 3 days the service people came and took the refrigerator from our home. Still, we haven’t yet received our product even after 20 days.

After repeated calls, there has been no progress. The service in charge tells that the problem has not yet been rectified.

We are really disappointed with your service and if the problem continues we won’t think about GODREJ.

If your service people can’t rectify the problem, replace with the new one at the earliest.

Instead of calling your customer care, if we had gone to the local service engineer we may have received our product earlier atleast.

So, contact 91-[protected] (PIO) and let me know the steps you’ve taken and when the problem will will be rectified.

Refrigerator — complaint no 978763

the complaint no 978763 which was lodged on[protected] for want of replacement of compressoris still not attended till today,
can you imagine in such a terrible temperature how we people are forced to bear the heat for which we are facing lot of problem,like storage of vegetables,milk,cooked food,cold water, cool drink,etc... etc... and cannot serve the guest with cold water when he visits the house. we have five children in the house,
IS IT HOW YOU GIVE SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE,YOU KNOW YOU HAVE SOLD IT ONCE,AND FOR WARRANTY REPLACEMENT I CANNOT GO TO ANY ONE ELSE,YOU ARE FORCEFULLY BLACKMAILING US,WHY WE SHOULD NOT GO TO CONSUMER COURT AND LET THIS COMPLAINT BE SHOWN TO MEDIA. AT GULBARGA YOU HAVE SERVICE CENTRE AND WADI IS HARDLY 37 KM FROM GULBARGA.CAN I GET MY REFRIGERATOR REPAIRED WITHIN 24 HRS FROM NOW OR ELSE I WILL BE TAKING FURTHER STEPS WITH THE HELP OF OUR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
